From dream to reality
Earlier in the year we had a dream to own a campervan and travel the UK and Europe making new memories. We came across the CamperKing brand and eventually, once we were in a position to buy we contacted HQ with interest in a pre-built van. Alas, that one wasn't quite right but we were even more lucky, we were able to configure a new van ourselves. We spent an amazing day with the team up at HQ, selecting all our customisations, and are now proud owners of a new van. Big thank you to Alivia for arranging the van and seeing through our order (and answering my many questions) and Richard and Jack for the handover day, brilliant experience and I can't recommend the company enough.

First VW Campervan purchase
Huge thanks to Danny and the team at Camperking HQ. I needed to downsize my current campervan and found Camperking. I’m a recent widow and was never the side of the partnership to deal with buying a campervan so was nervous at making this step but I needn’t of been from the offset Danny assured me Banbury HQ had a huge range of models I could look at and he wasn’t wrong. I drove up from Hampshire with my dog (they’re very doggie friendly) I didn’t want to compromise from my old van so was able to add a wifi, bbq point & loo to the Monte Carlo model I wanted but at no time did I feel pressure, not taken seriously or hard sales tactics to buy in fact Danny suggested not upgrading the seats as I was putting throws on them for the dog.
I’m now the proud owner of a two tone Candy white/Copper Bronze Monte Carlo T6.1 picked it up 29 August 2025 and have spent the past 9 days travelling - in fact I’m writing this review whilst in it 👍

Right from start to finish Rich at Camper King was knowledgeable, helpful and dedicated in getting the right conversion for us.
Rich helped source the perfect van that matched our criteria for conversion, he explained everything in detail to us, was very patient, answered all questions, had excellent communication via email, phone and in person.

Last minute help - new fresh water pumpt fitted
I had a pump fail on the tap to the sink a week before we planned to go in our Camperking van on holiday. Called Camperking and they found a slot for me with the service team that week. The Van was in for little over an hour and a new pump fitted - and we are off on holiday.

Absolutely first rate
We’ve owned our Camper King van since 2019 and we have always had first rate service from everyone we’ve dealt with at the company . They guided us through specifying what we wanted included in the conversation to fit our budget. We opted for a three year old van that they sourced for us and then fitted out. We’d hired a van from them before we bought so we had a good idea of what we did and didn’t want. (Apparently they are about to bring the “try before you buy” service back and we’d thoroughly recommend it)
They also offer a rolling warranty on the conversion if you have a habitation check done with them annually and they are extremely thorough with that service so again we’d thoroughly recommend that.
Their after sales support is superb and they will go the extra mile to help even remotely.
Having looked at lots of other camper vans we felt that CK really have a complete handle on practicality and maximising storage in their vans. We highly recommend them.

We had a long list of requirements for… a Day Van!
We had a long list of requirements for a new van, from allowing us to travel with XL dogs safely, flexibility to sleep in it, but also able to tow our caravan as we would have to part with our SUV. Mark and the team at the Newcastle branch took us through the process, provided options and solutions. And when we were ready to purchase took us through the whole build and design. Their enthusiasm for their product matched ours, not just through the buying, but delivery and handover. TBH I always judge a company when sorting goes wrong and how they respond. Our shiny new van turned up, and the spec was not as agreed. Mark and the team turned heaven and earth to resolve it. and yes we were a little late but the overall response and experience has been brilliant and would not hesitate to recommend the whole team.

First rate service & very impressive conversions.
We hired a new VW California Beach last year to tour Scotland & loved the van, hence looking at KamperKing, who were recommended to us by a friend.
We were very impressed with their conversion, which we felt compared well with the VW made California.
Simon & Richard gave us a very thorough look at van options & couldn't have been more helpful. We paid the £1,000 deposit to hold a van we really liked.
We are in the process of trying to downsize our house, but on reflection decided we should put the purchase on hold until we'd sold. KamperKing refunded our deposit in full very promtly & we will contact them again when our sale happens.

Excellent! I cannot rate CamperKing’s services and Campers highly enough. I bought my VW Camper from them and their professionalism was first rate. And the Camper was faultless throughout my ownership. I took it to Crete where I now live and eventually had to return it to the UK as I could not import it there. CamperKing agreed to take it back and sold it for me. They have been incredibly helpful, honest, efficient and friendly throughout. The managers Jack and Simon were brilliant. If I could give CamperKing a higher star rating I would. I highly recommend anyone considering buying a Camper from them to have no hesitation in doing so.

I managed to drop my I-pad down the…
I managed to drop my I-pad down the back of the fridge (Monte Carlo conversion) whilst touring the NC500. I left a message on the phone asking for any assistance that CamperKing could give. Josh rang me back an hour later, told me how to remove the fridge to retrieve the I-pad. This all worked well, I-pad back, fridge re-installed andbtgeamk you Josh & CamperKing.
