The CamperKing service was excellent throughout
The people at CamperKing were extremely helpful from the very start. We visited the Newcastle site to have a look at a few vans equipped with a bit of knowledge, but we came away feeling like we had learnt so much more. This helped us to make up our mind to buy one of their campers and we are extremely pleased with what we bought - they listened to what we wanted and searched their stock to find the best option.

Look no further! Brilliant Camperking
What a great experience in buying our first Campervan!
From day one we were welcomed by Danny into the showroom to have a look at the models available, SWB or LWB, the endless amount of accessories and get a general feel of what was on offer.
Considering there was a lot to go through, Danny had all the answers to any questions we asked (No matter how stupid) and was generally kind and accommodating, making the early ideas flourish. We were so impressed, we put a deposit down on a Santorini model that had just hit the forecourt!
Fast forward a week or so and we popped back to have another look at the van to finalise a deal, and go through any snags we had. This time we had the pleasure of dealing with Jack and Alivia. Both knowledgeable, showed us round the van with no pressure and worked out a good price for the extras we wanted. Another good day out.
Then the day of collection came along and we met Richie, who showed us the ropes and everything we needed to know about operating the van. He made it entertaining and genuinely interesting.
Then we had a nice picture together and off we went!
I can’t thank you all enough. When making a big financial commitment, it’s genuinely nice to not be forced into anything and deal with such great people.
No doubt we’ll use Camperking for a long time to come.

We were in the market for a camper and arranged to meet Danny to show us round some Camper King models we were interested in. Although we didn’t buy from Camper King in the end as we had some specific requirements that were better suited by a different brand the whole setup in Banbury is incredibly professional and detailed and nothing was too much trouble as we looked round. We would like to advise you of the fantastic help we were given by Mark and the Newcastle team during our recent purchase.
This is a bit lengthy but we feel it is worth taking the time to advise you of how Mark and the guys in Newcastle are promoting your brand and looking after your customer base.
To give context we are ‘van virgins’ - guessing like a lot of people our age this was something we had dreamed about but that’s as far as it had got.
We made an initial visit in March more because we were passing than a specific visit, it waa from here where I guess we were hooked.
Mark and the team listened to our concerns and excitement gently guiding us around all the good bits but equally as important the bits you need to give consideration to, ( after all next to our home this is the biggest purchase we have made) The lack of hard sell was appreciated.
We left excited but felt informed of what we were getting in to.
Roll on a couple of months when we took the plunge and decided to go for it. This is where for me Mark and the guys really earned their corn as my wife’s job requires her to do detail to a very fine degree, add to this to a husband who kept changing his mind - including the very last day too.
We were kept fully informed from the van purchase video to the expected build date and handover date.
The day came and we got to see the sexy red seats (which I will acknowledge caused a few sleepless nights wondering if we had gone too bold,) and the nice little external touches which lift the presence of the van ( again Mark was incredibly helpful with this ). There was no need to worry - the van is gorgeous and the hand over from Mark and the guys was flawless.
We’ve been out 2 weekends ( only had it 2 weeks), learning all of the excellent add ons all of which work really well, ( really impressed with the seats, solar and build quality)

Great Experience from start to finish. The service at CamperKing was outstanding. When we first went to CamperKing HQ to look at the van we were interested in, we received a warm welcome and were given a great tour of the van by Richie. It was our first time buying a VW camper and Richie gave us some great advice that saved us from making a couple of mistakes. We were also interested in reupholstering the seats, and the guidance that we were given by the team meant that the van was completely transformed the van once complete. Simon guided us through the purchasing process and at no point was any pressure put on us. Upon collection, the van was immaculate and we were given a detailed overview of how all of the different aspects of the van worked which was invaluable. Simon and Richie even threw in some t-shirts for me and the family which was a great touch. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Been researching and searching for a Campervan for the last year and came across CamperKing. Drove 2 hours to their headquarters as they have a good amount of VW's for sale and that's where I made my purchase. Camperking are exceptional. This is proper customer service. From day one, I always felt that whilst dealing with these guys (and gal) that they wanted the best for me. I’m a complete newbie to the campervan world and the aftersales tutorial was comprehensive and clear. In my case, some modifications went a little wrong but they were always there to sort out any issues with zero fuss.
The mint green camper I have bought has had so many positive comments from friends, family and close clients and every time Camperking gets a mention. I’m sure I will be returning to them for any future needs.

great van but minor repairs are a headache
We love our camper king van, however it is a shame that this past two years our nearest dealer has closed and now we have to travel 3 hours for minor repairs, and there is a several months waiting time for any repair. Education on DIY repairs and/or building the vans with accessibility to the electrics and water tank so owners can feesably attempt repairs within their skills without dismantling the whole van would make it much easier to be able to recommend a CK purchase to fellow van lovers.

Banbury Outlet
Went to Banbury for my van Habitation Inspection to be completed. These guys also carried out a few extra requests I made, answered all my questions (15 of them regarding operation of items in my van) and basically took time out to make sure I was completely informed. I also had a look around there shop which was filled with fantastic goodies. Regret not finding them a long time ago. A top draw service received

Our experience with Camperking HQ has…
Our experience with Camperking HQ has been excellent! Right from our very first visit when we were toying with the idea of getting a van - staff have always been very knowledgeable and helpful but without any pressure.
Richard in particular has been excellent, from the moment we decided to invest to the moment we drove our van away - his knowledge, advice and reassurance in the choices we made has been very much appreciated! Richie was also fabulous during handover making it a fun and memorable experience.

Fantastic service all round
Fantastic service all round. Alivia was so helpful and informative. Not just with sales but on sites to visit and campervan owner tips, as all new to us! Had 1 small issue with window wiper pipe. However rectified in the service department, who were also helpful/brilliant and showed me lots of useful information. So glad we purchased our campervan with CamperKing Martin Stone

An outstanding service from Graham and the team for after sales service, found a nail in a tyre frustratingly and noticed the locking wheel nut key was missing while at a tyre centre , called Banbury and the next day wheel nut key arrived by post ,absolute 5star service 👍

Professional, accommodating, kind.
Looking for a quality VW Transporter conversion, and being new to all of this, my wife and I visited many showrooms (and a few shows) over the course of several months. We spoke to a lot of people, and saw lots of conversions; some good, some not so good.
At CamperKing in Banbury we immediately felt a sense of consistent quality and professionalism. Everyone we spoke to there was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. There was zero sense of pressure as we strolled around and looked at the various conversions they offer. For the first time we felt a real sense that we’d found what we were looking for.
We knew what we wanted in terms of base van specification and conversion, but couldn't quite find that exact match ready built. So we told Richard what we were looking for. He sourced an almost new van, we selected the layout we wanted (Le Mans), along with all of the colours and materials, even down to the alloys (at the showroom they have a space set aside with all of the available options to play with and visualise).
Since we placed our order just before Christmas things took a little longer than usual, but we only had to wait eight weeks or so. In the New Year we returned to collect our shiny, newly converted van. Richard kindly picked us up from Banbury station. We spent over an hour with another Richard (there are a few Richards at CamperKing) who showed us how everything works. All questions - stupid or otherwise - were patiently answered.
A very positive experience from start to end, and now we’re ready for adventure. Thank you Richards!
