Waste of time. Did not receive any quotes from this process.

I am thinking this is a scam because it listed a few companies and I only heard back from 1 .. so I am thinking that is the company that has this website.

Both Harp and Aaron arrived to collect our furniture on Mon 28th January. They were both very professional and cheerful despite having started work at 3am that day and we were their second to last pick up in Ottawa-Gatineau when they arrived at 5pm!!
We agreed to pay the extra charges for packaging of our Queen bed base as well as a wardrobe box to house several things but were surprised that they were not aware of x2 appliances (stove and fridge) which we had previously mentioned to Lucy on the phone. As a result, we are still waiting to find out if we have to pay extra charges for the handling of these 2 items.

atlantic vanlines is probably the worst moving company , they try to make me pay for unnecessary items like box's and rapping for old couches . besides that they charge me for waiting on them to come to my place between the hours 12 and 3 then get there at 1 and say " sorry your not here so we have charge you 75$ for every 30mins, and after that i called in to see what my total cost were, then hung up the phone, then 2mins later call me back saying that i have to pay another 75$ while that transaction was going sending my visa number . not only that they damage my walls and front screen door when i told them to go to the back .

I had several responses within hours of my request. Some made follow up calls and all were very professional.

I have been most impressed with the companies who replied to my request for a quote for my daughter's long distance move.

I received either a phone call or an email...or both...from 5 companies within the first week.

Subsequent conversations with all have been most satisfactory....they have all followed up....largely because we have yet to decide which company to use!!

In fact, that is the only problem.....choosing one company when all seem to be most suitable.

Within one hour of requesting free quotes on Canada-movers.ca I had the first quotes. it was as easy as filling in your info and voilla!!

Never trust to non- professional comapny like green vanland or internet browser provider web site to find a mover company at least in canada.

Was surprised I only had 2 companies submit prices, but mine was a small move. Companies that submitted were both great and good to deal with!

I lost my time! Sent the form.. And nothing! Poor experience, never use it again!

The workers were the best ever.

I happened to be searching movers on Google, and I got pop-up window that allowed me to get pricing from several comnpanies. I figured "why not, I have time"
I was totally surprised to receive several quotes the very next day. Saved me tons of hassle. I actually got a direct call from one company and the girl was so friendly that I booked with them on the spot.

Once I registered on the site, the following days I received answer with cotisation and prices. And all that without calling anyone and wasting my time. Thanks

the quote request system was easy to complete and receiving a confirmation e-mail verified that it was being processed and gives you a time span to expect the information.

not much else to add - worked fine - that's it

Even contemplating a long distance move is overwhelming let alone putting the wheels into motion. Where should I start. With the help of Canada-movers.ca I was able to get a number of quotes from reliable companies from the comfort of my own home and from there was able to pursue those quotes from the companies that were best able to meet my needs. This is an excellent service and I would highly recommend it.
