Sadly I can’t give a zero star rating!

Spent a considerable amount of time raising Cantrack product as a reputable system to combat motorcycle theft in my local area. Couldn’t fault the sales and aftercare and a significant number of motorcyclists took up the reduced offer and service from them!

Leap a few years forward, cantrack have been taken over and I’m now receiving a barrage of calls, texts and emails on a daily basis from “Radius” debt collectors over an alleged outstanding balance which I had confirmed by Cantrack to be an error on their part following a succession of long drawn out phone calls!

Even more annoying is that the individual chasing the alleged “debt” is rude, lacks capability and point blank refuses to investigate previous notes stating “it’s on a different system!” Something that a simple call or email could clarify!

Now feeling harassed and annoyed by this relevant dept has marred what should have been pleasant and confident experience with this product!

Would not recommend just to prevent anyone else from experiencing this disreputable behaviour in future!

Accounts Department Ruins a Great Product

Appalling Accounts Department
On the 5th January 2024 I subscribed to CanTrack an invoice was sent and it was paid on this date by direct bank payment. Today 16th February at 15:53 I get sent an email telling me the invoice is outstanding at the same time I receive a phone call from their credit control telling me the invoice is outstanding! I teel then it was paid on th4 5th Jan 2024 but their credit controller has no access to their bank statement or account and there is no one in their office who can check this as they have all gone home!
Quite how their Directors are comfortable with this situation is beyond me !
Such a pity their accounts department want to ruin the innovative efforts of such a company.
Here's a challenge for the Managing Director pick the phone up and explain why you don't know an invoice has been paid.

Aftersales are awful

Company were great when selling the tracker but when when it comes to cancelling the customer service is awful. We had the tracker for two years and sold our caravan I rang to cancel the tracker and was told I was in contract but they would escalate to manager to see if there was anything they could do. I received an email said that it would be cancelled with no further charges and then received another email stating my subscription had been cancelled and no further dd would be taken. 5 months down the line and i receive a phone call saying there sending out a final demand as I haven’t paid for 5 months. Absolute joke of a company wouldn’t recommend to anyone customer services is awful.

Great units, Customer support very helpful

We had 30+ units with Cantrack, had an excellent service from the sales guy Dan. Always got us units sent out straight away when ever there was a problem, £650+ a month with Cantrack. When we fell into trouble last year with customers owing us big money & payments getting slower and slower we missed a few of our direct debits. Tried to call our sales guy who did seem to try and step in to help us out. We were shortly passed to Nick the collections manager at Radius. We tried to offer various payment offers to keep our units running & continue working with Can track. His attitude was very poor, wasn't interested in any deal put forward his words were" Radius will just Wind your company up"As a loyal customer of Cantrack & highly recommended them to a lot of people we worked with, this was a reel kick in the teeth.
We were left with no option but to abandon the can track units.
Understandably Companies need paying but to try and work with a company to rectify issues and continue a relationship to be told we will just wind you up wasn't fantastic.

Dear Adam, I am very pleased that you have always had excellent service from CanTrack and thank you for actively recommending us. We are sorry you have found yourselves in financial difficulty recently, however I would like to clarify with you what you have posted in your review.

Despite agreeing with you a payment plan for the outstanding amount on your account, we never received a single payment from yourself.

Therefore in this situation we would usually take this matter to court, however as you already have existing CCJs totalling a significant amount against your company we made the decision to close your account and stop your service - and not as you have said in your review "wind your company up".

Happily moving over to CanTrack for there superior services. The only company we found that offered us a comprehensive demonstration of what they had to offer. Looking forward to the next few years working with them.

We have been customers of CanTrack for…

We have been customers of CanTrack for many years and over that time they have saved us thousands of pounds with their simple, but effective trackers. We have been able to recover every piece of plant that has ever been stolen due to the accuracy of the units. Would thoroughly recommend.

As a fleet operator of LCV we have…

As a fleet operator of LCV we have experienced various brands of vehicles being stolen at ease, before fitting Cantrack we had a 100% of stolen vehicles not returned to us. Since fitting Cantrack's product, we have had todate 100% of vehicles stolen returned to us.
I cannot recommend the product and service we receive from CanTrack highly enough. Lee Hudson Operations Director @ Eurohire

Absolutly great service! great experience and great communications, 600k worth of assets, located and retrived with in 8 - 14 Hours, John network skills are out of this world, he had a block on the local port within 2 hours

Excellent Service & Result

We've been CanTrack customers for a number of years without any incidents needing their intervention. However we recently had a dumper taken from a site in South Yorkshire over a weekend. The first call to CanTrack was made at 7.38am when we discovered the theft, Mick took the details and got straight on with locating the dumper. He kept us informed all the time and, by 10.20am, it had been successfully located & we were able to recover it.

Wouldn't try elsewhere now

As a plant hire firm, we rely heavily on tracking systems to protect all of our vulnerable assets due to the amount of plant theft which happens these days! We started using apello units over 10 years ago and have a 100% successful recovery rate with these - even one with the MD personally going out to track them down!
We have tried over 10 other systems and find the level of service and the product from Cantrack to be excellent and we honestly wouldn't buy elsewhere now.
We have recently had two assets stolen which had some other tracker which we had tested fitted to them and these were removed in seconds so we have unfortunately lost valuable items and also kicked ourselves for not using the Cantrack units.
We were at first abit sceptical of the T7 units but bought one at the hire show to try out, we wanted something we could easily move from asset to asset - after abit of investigation on Cantrack's side, they discovered a mounting kit which uses magnets and this suited us perfectly - we now have 26 of these units and about to purchase more!
Our Account manager Rebecca is great to deal with, she's friendly, professional and always offers speedy responses.
Keep up the good work Cantrack!

They have doubled the cost of my subscription, so my tracker is now worthless. ;(
