Home Style Service in the age of AI

Canvas agent was so patient and helpful assisting my wife and me with completing the on line application for a 7 year future fund MYGA. With out his assistance we probably would not have succeded. Please give special recongnition to this agent. I personally would like to reward him.

Canvas has higher rate Annuity and has excellent service

I bought Canvas Annuity and shortly after I transferred the money, the boost rate started. I emailed and called Canvas about the boost rate I want. Canvas always responded me on time and told me what to do and helped me a lot to update or renew to the Boost Rate. They are professional and have great patience.
I bought two Annuities already and will buy more.
Canvas service is very good 👍 Thank you, Canvas ❤️

I can be a tough customer but...

To say I am a stickler for one on one USA based customer service might qualify as the understatement of the decade. Having trained all levels of customer service and client relations for a multinational company for 13 years, I fully recognize when I am receiving excellent customer service…or as is so often the case these days... less then acceptable service.

Canvas Annuity not only passed the test but aced it -- And in my particular case, due to a major snafu originating at my banking institution causing the double funding of the Future Fund Annuity, serviced by Canvas and issued through Puritan Life -- I feel incredibly blessed to have had Kaylon Garner as my contact in customer service. Every swing Kaylon took at figuring out and fixing a very complicated ordeal, and keeping me abreast and assured every step of the way, was a grand slam home run.

I cannot recommend Canvas Annuity strong enough. Nor high enough! And that goes triple for Kaylon Garner. Many thanks Kaylon! From the heart!

Application straightforward process but funding issue

Application is straightforward process. However, can't fund a Canvas annuity out of my Vanguard Cash Plus savings account even though it has a routing/account number.

You can still fund your Canvas policy by wire, check, or an ACH from another linked bank. They mislead customers.

They mislead customers by putting on their site that if you apply from April 21, 2026 to May 22, 2026 you will get .35% rate up. At the same time for 7 years MYGA annuities they put rates 6.45% without telling this is promotion rate which include .35% bonus. They just listed rates for 7 years Myga as 6.45% creating an impression that this is regular rate as of today and you can get additional 0.35% bump. The same is for 5 years MYGA annuity. This is a scam misleading customers. Be aware.

After reading your feedback we saw that the wording on our banner could easily be read two ways—either as a regular 6.45 % / 6.35 % rate plus a 0.35 % bonus, or as the promotional rate already including the bonus. That was not our intention and we’re sorry for the confusion it caused.

We’ve since updated the reference on the site and hope it's more clear to our customers what our rate boost entails!

For clarity, we have increased our base rates for our 5- and 7-year products. The numbers you see posted (6.45 % for 7-year, 6.35 % for 5-year) are the total rates you’ll receive, which includes the .35% rate boost. No hidden conditions and nothing additional to “stack.” However, these great rates are only available for a short time!

We appreciate your calling this out and helping us tighten up our communication. If you have any other questions—or would like written confirmation of the exact rate you’ll receive—please reach out to our Canvas Agents who are happy to assist you further.
