Contacted the company to repair a broken Whirlpool cooktop stove in Orleans, Ont. The company was fair and honoured their appointments. Service was done quickly and my tenant was very satisfied. Good job!

Arrived on time, were efficient, professional and thorough. Did not suggest any repairs at this time so no upselling and was only charged service call out fee.

Replacement of burned-out igniter on an LG gas range. Service was reasonably on-time and effective. However, replacement was a generic (probably $25-$50) and I was charged top dollar (from LG quoted $230). Then expected full payment on the spot $550+ for 40 minutes work. Promised invoice and receipt. None came. Called once, twice and three times. Three times I got promises to send invoice. Still waiting. Shabby and shady business practice.

At first I was appreciative of this company. They can out same day within and hour of me calling. When the tech arrived he said he didn’t speak English. I had no way to communicate the problems and the company had not told him. I called the company and they assured me he was great and they would help me communicate. An hour later after the tech just ran the washer through cycles he presents a bill for $358 to me. I asked him to leave and said I was not paying that. I called the company and said I was not paying for work I didn’t approve and he didn’t do any work. The tech refused to leave and sat outside my house.I called the company and said I would call the police in 5 minutes if he didn’t leave. This company is unprofessional and shady. Stay away.

Moji was our service provider in Vancouver and he was wonderful. He arrived promptly and was clean, knowledgeable and efficient. He is a real credit to your company.

The repair person was extremely polite.
When we told him what had happened he knew what items to test for failure. He replaced the defective parts explained what had happened and told us what parts he replaced .Before leaving he tested the oven to make sure it functioning properly ire everything was working properly. If I ever have another machine break down that you service I will definitely use your company again

This company is the real deal. They have fixed my oven twice at a very reasonable price, they are organized, prompt and reliable. I am very happy to give them 5 stars!

I phoned 2 weeks ago for a freezer repair. The lady to took my request was quite uncooperative to take a request from Cardinal ON. I explained that there add said that they serviced Prescott ON which is only 10 miles east! She advised a rep was on holidays but she would book an appointment for today 14 Dec 2022 between 10 am & 1 pm. Phoned today to confirm and got same surly & uncooperative lady who now states there was never an appointment!! She should find another employment where she does not need to deal with human beings!! BE AWARE THIS COMPANY EITHER IS NOT AWARE OF HER ATTITUDE OR DOES NOT CARE!!

Thermador Microwave. Exceptional service from Yuri, Victor and the woman who booked our call. The cause was expertly diagnosed, parts ordered in reasonable amount of time and the bill was exactly what I was quoted. Techs arrived on time, maintained a clean workspace, were polite, efficient and professional. Capital Appliance Repair will be my first choice for future work.

Capital Appliance is an outstanding company. The serviceman, David, was extremely knowledgable, honest, friendly, funny and thorough. I would not hesitate to call them in the future. A great experience all in all. Thank you also to the friendly service from the receptionist.

Capital Appliance lists Sub-Zero as one of the brands that they service but please be aware that they are not licensed for all fixes. They can do very minor tweaks but not everything. So while the technician was nice and the service was prompt, I now have to pay for an additional service call from a different company to not just diagnose but to also fix the problem. Capital Appliance needs to be more upfront from the start on what they can/can't do as I'm now out money and time.

Our 7-yrs old Whirlpool built-in wall oven died during a self cleaning cycle: Blank panel and locked door. . After researching oven repair services in Ottawa, I ended up calling Capital. Appliance repair. A couple of days later, Yuri showed up. He is very friendly, efficient and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed thermostat plus possibly the thermal fuse, and quoted us the price of each plus labour. Once given the go ahead, it took him just over 1/2 hour to open the oven door, replace the thermostat (which was all that was required to awaken the oven). He then meticulously checked the bake, broil and other basic functions to ensure all is OK. Thanks for a job well done, Yuri. I recommend Capital for the quality of their appliances' repair, but I find the markup on their parts and their labour rate are high..

Repaired our 18 year old Jenn-Air refrigerator. Courteous and great service, even did a few extras without charge. Highly recommend.

Technician Yuri went above and beyond. He diagnosed the problem with our fridge quickly, and was back with the part the next day (after another client cancelled). Fridge is working fine, and not part of the landfill!

Drain was blocked, called Capital Appliance and i got appointment very quickly despite the holidays. Technician came and provide a very efficient and professional service at a fair price. This saved me 1500$ and precious time as I don't need a new fridge!

Disappointing, called as my dishwasher leaked all over my kitchen floor, they came right away but I was told it wasn’t leaking after technician was here less than 10 minutes. I paid $90 and he left, that night it leaked again, I called the next day and they told me they would not come unless I filmed where it leaked. I did as they asked and sent it to their email. No one contacted me, I left it a couple of days and called, the person answering the phone said she could not open the video. We downloaded the video to wetransfer, sent them the link which gave them seven days to observe the leak, again no one called. I went back and forth with this company for nine more days and each time the person answering the phone said she would call back and not once did anyone call. My dishwasher was never repaired by this company.

Paid $252 to have dryer repaired. All they did was check connections and tell me if it happened again all it would need was a new element. Failed after a few loads. Then they quoted $314 for a heating element and it would be a month to six weeks to get it.

I looked online. Element is $156 and overnight. I told them this and they said they would install but no warranty.

Not sure what I paid $252 for just to get ripped off.

Went and bought a refurbished dryer from Super save appliances who I have had good luck with over the years. $280. Wish I had just gone there first. Capital Appliance Repair is useless.

The service technician did a fine job yesterday. The fridge is working and the repair was completed successfully.

Having said that, I do have some concerns:
1) He was late. Originally scheduled for 10:30, he arrived at 12:30. I called the dispatcher at 11am to confirm when he was coming.
2) I didn't receive an estimate before the work was completed. The work was done and I was then asked to pay.
3) The repair is too expensive. $350 for the installation of an off the shelf part is too much. The technician's labour rate is too high. He was onside and I was charged $200. A labour rate of $200 is much too high for this time of work. The markup on parts is also too much. I was charged $112 for a small part which I later found online for $30. (I don't expect to pay online prices for parts that a repair person has onhand, this feels exorbitant.) I would expect this repair would be closer to $200 ($70 parts, $120 labour).

In summary, while I have no complaints about the quality of the work, I won't be using your services or recommending them again due to the way the work was priced and quoted. Please let me know if you would like to discuss.

Not only to they urgently fixed our fridge…they service was phenomenal, stuff was polite and informative on the phone and great pricing!!! They really go above and beyond!!!
