Went ahead with a washer and drier…

Went ahead with a washer and drier purchase from LG because of a $250 promised reward .The box popped up and said your $250 is on the way. do not be tricked into making a large purchase because of the promised rewards you will not get it and you will have to pay for your purchase.

Scam

Scam! They purposely give you the worst or no coupons. Then the pocket the commission, when they made no sale or discount. Do not use! They steal money from affiliates and make you pay for it. This will make you pay more fore your purchase.

They do not give you the best Coupons

They take affiliate revenue from creators and they do not even give the best coupons but the ones that the store wants you to know. Honey is getting paid by these shops to not give you the best coupons.

Scam…

Just figured out how it’s a scam and never has a code that works. Honey is the exact same way. Capital One uses a reliable name, so they should take responsibility.

I wish I could rate this site 0

I wish I could rate this site 0. Like others, I was lured into installing extension during the online Chistimas shopping . Even with the crawling speed and big performance impact on my computer, I managed to keep this extension because their promised incentive. Yesterday I received a sudden email stating my account was termniated because of one of the reasons listed. I emailed support for clarification. They just replied back to me repeating the canned email. What a scam website. Don't ever think about installing their extension. Compared to other shopping cashback website, this is a piece of crap.

Rewards Not Received and No Customer Service

I made a large purchase 6 months ago using a special offer sent to me by CapitalOne Shopping. I made sure that the browser plug-in showed that my savings were activated, but I was never credited for this purchase. I recently made another large purchase via an offer email I received from them for over $1,100, but the portal shows the purchase was only $1.00 and the 30% rewards amounts to a whole $0.30. I have email CapitalOne Shopping 3 times about this issue and have received no response.

First attempt to redeem

Downloaded my first gift card to use on a purchase and was told by the merchant that the card was invalid. Planning to cancel shopping and use other cards for future purchases. System does not reflect well on parent organization.

DONT DO IT

Well.. ashamed to say I was lured in during Black Friday and Cyber Monday while doing my X-mas shopping. I literally followed all the steps requested to get $40 sign up bonus and $25 bonus for signing up for the silly extension on my laptop.

Nothing - no bonuses at all - now just advertisements, tons of spam emails within a 48 hour timespan, and the creepiest part, all of my shopping history and items viewed BEFORE even installing/hearing about the app is showing up on the Capital One app - basically a scam to get into my data, see what I like to buy, and then solicit some phantom discounts and rewards I will never receive. This is so tacky of them. Dont download or shop through them, its a total scam. Cant believe this is even legal for a company like this.

How is this legal??

How is this legal??? Literally make you go through hoops to try to get $45 credit however when finished nothing happens, and can't find reward anywhere. This is clearly a scam and surprised Capital One is involved. Maybe the FTC should hear what is going in here. Clearly there is a pattern of misleading consumers when enrolling or redeeming rewards. Total scam

This app is constantly glitching They end up not giving you rewards and when you reach out to customer service they tell you that you have to wait 30-90 days before they investigate. Guess what, after the 90 days you can no longer return the items you only bought for the rewards you never received. They will tell you that there’s nothing they can do and that the merchant is responsible for the rewards. They also do something very sneaky where when you use the app you will get a small reward such as 2%, but if you browse the site and not buy they will email you the next day offering 20-30% rewards. However, you have to click a special link otherwise you will only get the 2%. Way too much room for error and no help

Basically a scam.

They'll send you personalized offers through email to purchase an item you've looked at before with a high percentage of cashback. Only issue is that you either won't be getting that high percentage and instead a significantly lower one or that purchase just won't be eligible for it despite the fact that they sent you an email SPECIFICALLY for that item. Emailing their support appears to mostly be a waste of time because they can't tell you anything useful but if you are lucky, they might give you an amount adjustment that may be less than what you should have gotten.

Lures you in with incentives to…

Lures you in with incentives to download on phone and computer but sends you in a loop to try and meet the requirements. Never actually pays out. Also, used the browser extension to purchase an item with the thought of cash back making the item worth buying and cheaper at their stores (Target) but then a few days later finding out the item is not accepted for the discount.

No EBAY 4% rebate !!!…

I made a qualifying purchase through capital one mobile app for an eBay item that would give a 4% statement credit which says could take 45 days to get. After 90 days and no credit I called capital one and after speaking with 3 different representatives, the first two which knew nothing about the mobile shopping benefits, I was told that it must not have been a qualifying purchase. I used the app as I was supposed to. It was a buy it now item as it was supposed to be. I used my capital one credit card as I was supposed to! Be aware! This was a test I had made smaller purchases and never received the statement credit. This company is scamming people into believing there are benefits that are not attainable! Shame on you Capital One. False promises

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
It's a scam. I don't need to use it to know that.
I had to explain all this to my parents though. So I've unfortunatelty seen the scam run on their computer and it didn;t pay anything

I was offered a Capital One card many years ago but never used it. In one year, I was billed $300. I paid it to keep my credit clean.
I wonder if they are the same company I dealt with back then. I was so broken back when that happened.
