Very impressed with the info I received, so now I know what I can offer a Dealer a price
That is reasonable for them and me as well. Knowing their cost is a big advantage.
They have to make some money but at least you can keep them from overpricing you

(1) I'm not a member. I just tried the intro' car cost data complimentary quotation on a new car.
(2) All I received for my first search was the dealer's car cost/price set by Toyota Canada. I expected the "best" possible price for the customer on your trial / sample response. Obviously that is totally unsatisfactory.
(3) I logged on to CCC online and spoke to no one, it's impossible to rate your customer service agents communications.

Amazing service. When I initially went to the dealership, I was told by the sales guy they’ll try to get me $500-$1k off msrp but they’ve never given more. Afterwards I heard about this website, and ended up going back to the dealership and saving over $4,000 and bought the car for a drop more than cost. The days of dealers taking advantage of us all are over... although I’m sure they’ve still figured out how to make money off of us.

Can't believe how good this service…
Can't believe how good this service worked out for me. It was actually CarCostCanada that ended up sending my information to a partnered dealer that contacted me. They skipped all haggling and basically shattered the price of all other dealerships I had previously visited trying to negotiate (before visiting CarCostCanada). I didn't have a chance to even take my dealer cost price summary to any dealership as the referral came in really fast and they just got the whole deal done over email and a phone call.

Car Cost Canada Lack of Detailed Dealer Costs
Car Cost Canada did not provide me with a breakdown of dealer costs and what profit the dealer should make in terms of percentages in order to make a deal. Instead they simply put me in contact with a dealer who unsolicited contacted me.

Our service is intended to provide our members with certainty, accuracy and confidence when dealing with New Car Dealerships. CarCostCanada™ is unable to provide our members with a breakdown of all dealer costs and the profit the dealer should make as it is not possible to do so. Dealer costs as well as profits vary from dealer to dealer, region to region and are not standard. We provide our members with all of the information we are capable of providing them with that we know is 100% accurate including the most crucial, the Dealer Invoice Cost as well as the current programs, rates and incentives being offered through the manufacturer, all of which is information we are certain of. Providing our members with the Sticker Price (MSRP) and the Dealer Invoice Cost gives a clear margin of potential savings. We also recently added a "Pricing Guidance" section in the report to assist members in determining what the mark up may or should be.
