Quick process, great savings
To be completely fair, when I first began purchasing cruise gift cards through card cash, they were coming back rejected as potential fraud. I persisted and glad I did. After I was finally able to get a couple of lower denomination cards accepted by my bank, it was great. I have since purchased over $3k in cards in several denominations with no problem. I receive the confirmation emails within a minute or two and have immediately been able to apply the gift card balances to my booked sailings. The website allows me to quickly search and choose what I want and the check out process is very smooth. 7% savings on each gift card is great and I'll keep coming back.

The website displays a gift card in the title, shopping cart, and confirmation email, along with a misleading description containing incorrect information. However, what they actually send is a certificate that does not function like a real gift card, and you may not be able to use

I have tried to purchase Carnival…
I have tried to purchase Carnival Cruise Gift cards many times. Keeps coming up that I am potential fraud and they won't approve the transaction. I have contacted them and they can't tell me why I am flagged fraud and there is no number to call to purchase from. Would be a big customer as many people buy the Carnival Cruise Gift Cards to pay for trips with, I would have been one of them. I don't like being labeled "Fraud" and can't purchase

BAIT AND SWITCH SCHEME!
I sent multiple gift cards to CardCash under Order #3741729 after they quoted me a payout and clearly stated they would buy them. Once the cards were in their hands, everything changed. Suddenly they demanded “proof of origin” (who keeps receipts for years of gifts given to their kids and family?) and then flat-out refused to pay. Instead, they forced the cards into their shady “consignment” program — meaning I might get paid someday if a stranger buys them.
This is a textbook bait-and-switch. They promised a direct buy, accepted my cards, and then broke their word. I don’t even want the cards back — we’re moving overseas, and they’re useless to me now. I only wanted the payout I was promised.
CardCash isn’t running a fair exchange — they’re holding customers’ property hostage. I’ve already filed a BBB complaint and will continue escalating. If you value your money, avoid CardCash.

Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware! I've used CardCash for two years but recently lost $600 worth of gift card value and the company has zero interest in helping make things right with me. I had purchased four Pottery Barn gift cards for purchase of a table, sadly when I went to purchase the table it was out of stock, so I was able to use two of the cards on something else and save the other two cards for when I had wanted another purchase with Pottery Barn. When I tried to use the cards, Pottery Barn said they'd been reported lost or stolen. I've called CardCash twice and emailed their customer service multiple times but they just keep referring back to their 45 day policy with no attempt to help me utilize the value of the gift cards I paid for. This experience showed me that to save 5% on the purchase price you might lose big and CardCash won't support you in any way.

On 9/21/25 I logged on to card cash…
On 9/21/25 I logged on to card cash yesterday to sell my Home Depot gift card that had a balance of $88.46 they agreed to give me a virtual prepaid balance of $75 in one to two business days. Today 9/22/25 I get an email saying we regret to inform you that we couldn’t process your order due to issues with the gift card details. So I go to Home Depot website and check my balance and my balance is zero. This is a total scam people don’t give these people you’re gift card information they will rip you off!!!!

Easy to Save!
I love saving money, and CardCash lets me do that easily! I find the gift card I want to purchase, purchase it, and then redeem it toward my item! I personally love buying Carnival Cruise gift cards. I have not had any issues at all with the purchase process or the redemption process, and I have already bought and redeemed ten cards!

Great experience.
I had a walmart gift card and sold it to cardcash.
First time ever doing this.
It took all of 5 mins and the money was in my bank account in under 24 hours.
I'm very happy with the experience.

Cruising On CardCash
Even with a minimal discount, purchasing Carnival Cruise gift cards from CardCash helped me pay for my cruise and add to my onboard account!! And, on a very limited budget, EVERY little bit saved counts for me!! I haven't had ANY problems with my purchases! I'm SO happy that I found CardCash!! I would highly recommend it to my family and friends!!

Great experience
Great experience! I had an extra $25 gift card that I wasn't going to use so I went on CardCash got my quote and chose to have the funds deposited into my bank account. Less than 24 hours later the money is already in my account. I'm happy with the amount of the quote as well. Definitely better than just sitting in my wallet! I wanted to try them out with a small amount before I sell them a larger Best Buy gift card that I have. I'll update the review after that transaction is complete!
Update: Everything went exactly as expected with my larger Best Buy gift card. I'd recommend CardCash to anyone!

Sold a $50.00 gift card for $35
Sold a $50.00 gift card for $35. I opt into virtual card and can't use it anywhere online smh . Complete waste of time . They keep telling me to register the card. They will not send me the link to register the prepaid mastercard card in order for me to use it. Scammers , take your gift cards some where else . Save yourself the stress . They also swear you can save to your mobile wallet ( Google pay. Apple Pay ) total bullshit .

These guys will lead you on and then…
These guys will lead you on and then refuse to pay!
I won a few large-denomination gift cards on a sweepstakes casino, and wanted to exchange them for cash via ACH transfer. They made an offer, I sent in my card details, they verified balances, and asked for proof of ownership. Fine, I said, and sent screenshots of the Prizeout emails, adding "let me know if you need more info to verify ownership."
I attached some more screenshots, from the website that I won them on, showing that I had cashed out successfully and everything was legit. Not even two hours later they reply that they weren't interested in the cards that they had ALREADY given me a quote for! There was no reason to turn down the cards. They were rightfully mine, that was proven, and- most importantly- they made an offer in writing!
Probably would be a great service if they stuck to their word, but I can't trust them ever again to do so. Go elsewhere if you need money for your cards.

Initially I sang their praises
Initially I sang their praises. What a great service! I spent hours diligently checking gift card balances online and calling 800 numbers before sending them in, where the CardCash team apparently confirmed their validity.
Imagine my surprise when a year later they reach out demanding money, while offering no proof that the value was incorrect. Out of the blue I started receiving threatening emails to send me to collections - I honestly assumed it was a scam at first. While I was communicating with them to try to sort out the issue, they just sent me to collections anyway.
What a shady company.
