I had A $100 on my nordstrom gift card when I submitted it today I recieved an email stating that it is at a 0 balance and wasn’t approved. This is fraud and I need immediate answers on this matter. They stole from me and I will not stop till I have an answer. My card was $100 balance
I did Reach out to nordstrom and they did confirm with me that it does look like fraudulent activity was down on CardCash end. I am Filing a police report and making this a legal matter. Especially now that I have confirmation that my balance was $100 on the 9th of may and swipe to 0 after it was submitted to cardcash. My order number with card cash is 3631774

Our team has completed a thorough review of this matter. Based on our investigation and the information provided by the merchant, the gift card was used online on May 9th. The order was fulfilled and shipped on May 10th, at which point the funds were removed from the card.
This indicates that the gift card had already been used before it was submitted to CardCash.com for sale. Because of this, we recommend reaching out directly to the merchant or to the original source where the card was obtained for further resolution.

You are only provided for 45 days after your purchase. If your gift card does not have any balance or has issue pat 45 days, they are not responsible. Is it legal? Probably, just very shady and sketchy business model.

Thank you for reaching out. I’ve looked into the matter and would like to clarify that your order was never processed, nor did the card pass through our verification system.

At CardCash, we do not use gift cards when we make a sale — we first purchase the cards and verify them before listing them for resale. In your case, the order was canceled by you shortly after it was placed on Sunday, 5/11. As a result, it was not reviewed until we received your review.

Since the card was never added to our inventory, we recommend reaching out to the original issuer or the place of purchase for further assistance.

If you have any other questions or need additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Great way to save money

I won't lie, when a friend suggested this site I was skeptical, but now I buy a carnival gift card from here every month to pay on my cruise and save 7%. My credit card company sends me an email each time I buy though warning me not to buy gift cards for scammers, though.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the savings—7% can really add up, especially when you're planning something as exciting as a cruise! We completely understand the initial skepticism and appreciate you giving us a chance. As for the credit card warnings, that's a common precaution they send when gift cards are involved, but rest assured, we're a legitimate and trusted source. Thanks again for your support—and happy cruising!

We went ahead and looked into this matter for you. It appears that you sold us a gift card in exchange for a prepaid credit card. After reviewing this matter we’ve verified that the prepaid card you received still has the full balance.

Please keep in mind that prepaid cards can have certain restrictions and may not be accepted by all merchants or on every website.

If you have any questions or concerns, our agent has provided you with their direct contact information and would be happy to assist further.

Thank you,

After Cardcash got my giftcard info - the $500 on it vanished

Tried to sell my valid $500 American Airlines giftcard on 'cardcash', a cash offer of $393 was made but they refused my various attempts at their endless ID checks/ $1 hold. Best part : AA now tells me the giftcard has a balance of $0.00 - and of course cardcash did not pay me. What a coincidence! Getting ready to sue

BEWARE

I used to be an advocate for CardCash & would enthusiastically vouch for their legitimacy. Until I found out the truth in those many negative reviews. I submitted a card in Jan, and was paid. In April {3 months later} I submitted 2 cards. They were accepted, and I did not receive the money. When I checked my account on their site, I found out that the money had been paid---and then taken away. It seemed that there was a discrepancy w/ the Jan card which WAS NOT COMMUNICATED to me. There was an issue with that January card which I am still puzzled by. I would never use that card as 1} it charges extra shipping to my state and more importantly 2} it's just wrong. Unlike CardCash I have integrity. It was accepted & I was paid so the balance oon the card was verified---and yet there's a supposed discrepancy on MY SIDE, not CARDCASH's. The money from those April cards were taken to pay for that January discrepancy. CardCash accepts no blame for "discrepancies" as you can see by their responses here. I'd thought that I was safe by only selling cards, not buying them, but obviously I was wrong. At least they were quick to DELETE my account. Hopefully it is fully deleted & does not show up in some hacked announcement.

I reviewed your account and wanted to provide some clarity.

During a routine inventory check, one of the gift cards you sold us was found to have a zero balance. As a result, a liability was placed on your account, which was then deducted from your next sale order.

We understand this can be frustrating, and we recommend reaching out to the original issuer or merchant for more information regarding the card's balance.

I also see that you were previously in touch with one of our agents regarding this matter. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help.

I understand that one of our team members recently spoke with you by phone. You've received a prepaid credit card from us as your method of payment. Please note that this is a valid card, and the full balance has been loaded onto it.

However, not all merchants accept prepaid credit cards. In your case, it appears that the website you attempted to use the card on does not support prepaid cards. While your card is fully functional, it’s important to be aware that some websites or merchants may not accept this type of payment.

You're welcome to use the card elsewhere—just keep in mind that acceptance may vary depending on the merchant.

Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

I purchased Carnival gift cards a few months ago, received the ecard quickly and they worked great. So, I recommended CardCash to my daughter who used them yesterday to purchased TopGolf gift card, it had a $0 balance!!!! She spoke with customer service and they are insisting the balance is there but they are 'investigating' and it will take 3-5 days. I checked the balance on top golf's website and it is definitely a 0 balance. I tried copy and paste as well as typing in the numbers to make sure they were correct, it's 0.

Hi,

We reached out to you through Trustpilot to request additional information so we could look into your concern and assist you further. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard back from you.

We’d still love the opportunity to help resolve this matter. When we receive a claim, our claims team reviews the card, and if it’s found to have a zero balance, we issue a refund—provided the claim falls within our 45-day guarantee period.

If you could provide more details about your issue, or confirm whether you reached out directly to CardCash.com, that would be very helpful.

Looking forward to your response.

Initially hated talked to customer service-excellent

This was my beginning review. The frustration I had.”I hate this….i got a virtual card and I can’t (cuss word)use it because I can’t make a PIN number. I’m at Dicks sporting goods and I can’t use the money in my account. I hate this and I will never use it again. I’ve been in the parking lot trying to figure this out….sent it to Apple Pay and it’s there, but again, can’t use it because of the PIN number. I go to frequent asked questions-nothing on PIN number. Just so frustrating that I trusted to give my gift cards to you and I have to be a darn ( think stronger word) rocket scientist to get the money. You have wasted my time Card Cash-what are you going to do to remedy this?”

Was finally able to talk with someone in the live chat. They explained that the pin is the last 4 digits of the card... Anyway I went to a grocery store to buy a cheap thing and it worked. I was able to go to the sporting goods store and purchase my product using the virtual card from CardCash, that I put in my Apple Wallet. Initially I rate Card Cash a 1 but with the excellent customer service, I’d give it a 5. Better answers to my problem should be in the frequent asked questions about Pins numbers on virtual cards that show as debit. I would use this again now in the future.

Tried to cash $300 worth of Apple gift cards 4 days ago and I got a message saying they would send me a prepaid MasterCard for $285 but it never showed up and when I questioned them they said the cards have 0 balance. These people are thieves! Be careful using this scammer company.
Now they say there was a 0 balance but it doesn't explain why I got a message asking me for my address so they could mail a Mastercard or why the message said I would get $285 on the prepai card.

I have bought cards in the past for less than $100 with no issues however last week I purchased and Apple gift card worth $457.00 while I was in the Apple store and 30" later went to use it and the value was listed as $2.14. I contacted CC and I will say I did not have to get in a long queue for them to take my complaint. It did take a week to resolve in writing and I am waiting for my refund. The email dialogues to get to that point made me think the reps weren't very savvy as the information they asked me for was all given in the original complaint. Frustrating. I'm all set with CC from here on out.
