Im having been able to meet amazing families through care.

This is a scam. You have to pay them before you even know if they have anybody in the right place or for a reasonable cost.
And they are DISHONEST because they advertise their service as free, and they know you won't get any information without paying them.
Now they want more information: My review is very clear: You advertise your service as free, but no information on the desired service is available unless you get paid. I don't see any room for a question or more information here.

The website was easy to navigate and I immediately was able to secure a cat sitter when I go on a trip.

I am an older woman needing assistance with cleaning my home. I signed on to care.com, intending to use their housekeeping services

They quickly took my money for 3 months' access. After some difficulty, I found a housekeeper and agreed to meet with her in a few days.

The day of the meeting came and suddenly, I got a message saying I was blocked from access. No reasons given. I was allowed to appeal their "decision," but I got no response from that either. Huh?

I am a respected physician. Not someone deemed "sketchy" in any way. I am dumbfounded.

So essentially, I was taken to the cleaners by care.com, which won't give me a refund and which deemed me too "sketchy" to use their services.

I like the fact that the care givers are background checked and you can request updated info regularly. their video meeting option is really great and convenient for all. its easy to post a job for applicants, and they provide regular updates

Care.com has given me an opportunity to do what I like as a nanny The best is safe for the family and for the employees

This place seems like a scam. Like daycare in Minnesota kinda scam. I needed babysitting services, as im filling out the application it pops up and says my account has been banned. I emailed help as I'm a new dad and never had an account. I received a generic message about account bans and how to appeal, but I never had an account submitted/established. Very odd.

I haven’t started my service yet; though I have asked for service.

Care.com is an awesome site for caregiver jobs in your area. It's easy and seamless to apply and accept jobs. I love this site. ❤️

Found some WONDERFUL care givers. And I did it in a relatively short time. Contacting potential candidates was easy through the messaging system.
My only criticism would be that many potential hires use AI to generate a profile and many are not specific to candidate.

Finding a reliable child care provider was difficult as we went through the process of hiring one. Eventually we found a reliable provider who was great.

I attempted to sign up for a year with the idea I would be billed monthly. When I requested a refund just minutes after my card was charged for a full year. I was told Care.com does not provide full refunds. I was offered a partial refund. I had not planned on keeping the service for a year. I do not like the idea of Care.com, stating I had to pay for 30 days, whether I wanted to use the service or not. The site does not clearly state that you will be paying for a year up front if you choose the annual option. My fault for not double-checking. I looked for the additional money information and could not find it on the website before I clicked to purchase. Beware and know what you are getting into

This website made it fast and efficient to get a nanny for my children. I did think the initial price was a little expensive, but I did catch a sale that was going by for Easter. Overall, I’m very pleased.

Very helpful in locating applicants. The mobile app is somewhat difficult to maneuver.

I’ve been using care.com for about 7-8 years and I’ve had some successful experiences with some amazing people.

Care.com is a fraud franchise that tricks you into agreeing to pay $10 for 3 months and then hits you with a $60 charge. Because you gave your bankcard number for the $10 charge the bank will not assist you in stopping the excessive fraudulent charges. It is deceptive trade practices at its best. If this company is willing to steal from you prior to ever doing business with you imagine what would happen if you hired someone on their platform. Scary...
