The training at Career Hounds has been absolutely amazing! Terri’s expertise is second to none – her knowledge, guidance, and support made all the difference. I felt truly supported throughout the course and learnt so much more than I ever expected. The curriculum is incredibly comprehensive, blending practical and theoretical elements perfectly. The whole team at Career Hounds are so welcoming and a real pleasure to train with. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I’d fully recommend signing up to career hounds, the courses are full of good interesting detailed information which you can use towards building a business or your own development as a groomer.

I have just completed the Oral Health course through Career Hounds and I’m so happy I did!

I have been a dog groomer for over three years now and have had countless people asking about teeth cleaning for their dogs but it’s not a service I ever offered…
A few months ago I bought an ultrasonic toothbrush so I could offer it as there was definitely demand and it seemed pretty lucrative. I’m sad to say that the toothbrush has been in its box ever since as I was unsure how to use it confidently. Not any more though! - this course goes through all the steps needed to clean and safely look after a dogs teeth and their overall health. It didn’t take long to complete either - I managed to fit it in over a few lunch breaks :)

I’m now offering the service as a preventative measure so hopefully the dog’s won’t need to go to vets to have them cleaned (often under sedation).

I’m going on to complete the bookkeeping course next which is a free bonus!
