double payment but no means of contact
double payment but no means of contact. I pre paid online to park in Princes Quarter in Edinburgh for 3 hours. Arrived at automated car park expecting registration recognition but nothing, took ticket to enter car park. Upon departure approached barrier but did not lift. Inserted ticket and payment demanded. No enquiry or help button, vehicles queued behind so had to pay. Got home and attempted to call phone number on website, call goes to wrong company nothing to do with car parking. Submitted direct email not delivered. Submit message on their contact page, no reply or to website email address. Later sent query to their separate enquiries email address and got a response at last.Surely it doesn't take a genius to change the phone number on the website?
Poor Service
Back in June 2024, my parked car was damaged by them. They took a photo, provided a form, and asked me to email them to make a claim. I’ve sent multiple reminders and emails regarding the car repair, and they initially responded by asking me to get quotes, which I did. In August 2024, they requested their account details and a VAT invoice, but since then, they have not responded, despite numerous follow-ups. Very poor service.
Booked at end of June for a 2 week stay…
Booked at end of June for a 2 week stay from 31st July got to the car park and the lady behind the desk told me I wasn't able to park as the car park would be shut on my return I told her I've had no correspondence from them to let me know asked about my refund she said I should have got it back . I haven't as yet tried ringing emailed several times with no joy absolutely disgraceful.
Turned up to the car park
Turned up to the car park, to find out it was closed! We ended up having to pay a crazy amount for another car park.
No emails, no notice it had been shut.
Do not use this car park.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Booked through holiday extras, turned up and couldn't get in to the car park. We spent a bit of time driving around trying to make sure it was definitely the right place only to be told by airport staff who pulled.in behind us it had been closed for several weeks! This is their Manchester site at Styal farm, we booked on 26th of May and had no communication from them about their closure. We will be chasing up with holiday extras but from this experience and other reviews will never be using care parks again!
Paid for parking, no actual bloody car park to park in
I booked with this company back in June. We turned up last night at 3am to find the car park gone and all fenced off. I called the contact number, and kept calling, it's just an automated reply. It's a couple of hours before flight and nowhere to park. Tried to book Jet Park 3 around the corner but fully booked panic set in. I've had to leave car on a side road and got taxi to airport. It's now a day later still nothing from calling or emails
Still awaiting refund
Still not received refund, due to their cancellation of my August booking for Manchester Airport site, which was accepted fraudulently, as the company clearly knew it's license for the site was due to expire. No response to multiple emails to either the accounts department or 'customer service'. Will not let this drop on principle alone.
DO NOT USE OTHER SITES MANAGED BY THIS COMPANY
Turned up at the car park to find it…
Turned up at the car park to find it fenced off. Received no correspondence from the company to say they were shutting. We were left in an unspeakable position unable to find alternative car parks with less than 2 hours to go before our flight!
Damaged equipment in car
Damaged equipment in car - no response or compensation. The phone holder attached to my windscreen was torn off and snapped. Damaged beyond repair. I notified the staff immediately and filled in a form . I have followed this up with a further 3 emails. I have received no response or compensation. I warned them I would write a bad review if I didn’t receive a response but they didn’t care obviously.

Well it’s irrelevant now as they’re shutting but turned up 4am yesterday for our dream holiday to be told they’re shutting down next week and we can’t park there. No correspondence at all. 45 minutes of unnecessary stress to find an alternative park. Good ridance
One of their drivers stole my watch…
One of their drivers stole my watch spoke to Steve Marks manager who said he would get back to me and never returned my calls ?!!
No interest, absolute disgrace, he knows who the driver is and does nothing about it.
Avoid at all costs !!!!
Not a good car park
On arrival it looked liked a massive greenhouse with broken glass panels. The surface of the car park is very rough with pot holes. We had no issues with either transfer.
We have been to much better car parks and we will not use this one again.
Ironically called "Care" with terrible service and customer serviceservice
Dreadful pickup service. Waited for 25 mins only for the bus driver to ignore us despite flagging the bus. We had our 2 year old with us too in freezing weather. I sincerely hope this company fails because the customer service was even worse
Don't CarePark
Used this car park through holiday extras. Bus driver saw us checking in with wife stood next to bus and just drove off. The same driver did it to another couple walking up the pavement at airport side too. Car was damaged on collection. They park cars too close together so accidents are a common occurrence. Filled in report on site. Emailed their incident team who found no CCTV footage of who did it. Asked me for my insurance details which they do not need. When I asked for theirs they have stopped answering. Will never use again!!
I wouldn't rate them at all I had to…
I wouldn't rate them at all I had to rate them one, as like others we paid twice to park our car. and more than we were originally quoted. They lied saying we would get our money back. weeks have gone by and still nothing its stealing money no matter how you look at it. Care parks are responsible it is they who allow these companies to sell there tickets it has nothing to do with the customers. does anyone know how we get our money back from these criminals. Care Parks lyingly told us we could claim our money back. Well where is it. will never use them again.
Paid double scam
arrived for the bookingto be told I would need to pay again and more than my original booking. We were obviously upset about this but felt under pressure to make our flight so paid the person behind the desk said we had to pay or we couldn't park. He said that the company were advertising to cheap so they stopped the contract and then they stopped paying so now we have to pay.
We were promised that we would get a refund for what we paid previously and what we paid under pressure on the day we had booked our car in. We were given an emailand told the websitewould also have information on. We have had no contact back from them and we have emailed over 8 times now.
I think getting you customer involved in contracts you have with other companies is very unprofessional.
I am looking at getting a charge back from my credit card as a last option.
I understand you are part of the British parking Association which is means you are meant to be more trustworthy. I really don't think it’s fair to get people who have flights to catch to pay you for something they have already paid for under pressure.
I have reported trusted travel to trading standards as this was my last option and I don't know where to go from here to get my refund.
Scammers
Completely same situation as discussed below, booked it and when we arrived we were charged double amount we already paid. Do NOT recommend this company!
Avoid - very stressful and costly experience
Booked a few days' parking at Manchester Airport through a company called manchester-airport-parking for £50.99 - which is obviously a block booking company like booking.com on behalf of the car park operator carepark. All confirmations, directions etc. received in good time around a month before departure and at the time no reason to doubt the validity of the booking.
We arrived at Manchester carepark site at roughly 3am with three young kids and a couple of hours before our flight - there I was told that apparently as the booking reference was "TT", this related to Trusted Travel, who carepark told me they had worked with for years, were a nationally operating company, but who had gone bust three days prior to our arrival. Because of this carepark weren't certain they would be able to recoup their money from Trusted Travel and so carepark weren't fulfilling their bookings any longer... the receptionist then changed her story slightly and said that this meant that carepark had no record of my booking at all - which seemed very dubious given we'd booked a month before, and TT had only gone bust three days earlier.
They said I had no choice but to pay £89 there and then for a new booking. Of course, with a flight to catch and the family all stood in the middle of the night with suitcases in hand, we were vulnerable to this and had no choice but to pay again at the higher amount. Many people may not have been able to afford to do that.
This seemed very dubious indeed. Firstly, carepark must have had a booking from Trusted Travel (or whoever) for a space at the park regardless of when payment was made, as they had said that Trusted Travel had only gone out of business a few days prior. Secondly, whilst working with Trusted Travel, carepark must have been happy with a fee of £50.99.
On this basis it seems a clear case of taking advantage of people in a vulnerable position to profiteer in almost doubling the price - why couldn't they at least honour the contractual price, given that I had proof of this?
We have no evidence that Trusted Travel are even bust, or haven't paid carepark, only what the receptionist told me on the day. I now have to wait 6-8 weeks for the bank to try to reclaim the £50.99, with no guarantees of that happening.
This is clearly a contractual dispute between carepark and Trusted Travel as far as I can see, and these people are happy to pass that on to customers at a very stressful time, doubling their profits at the same time.
Disgusting.
Made us pay MORE money on arrival
When we arrived on the day of our holiday the women at reception said our booking had just been cancelled via “trusted travel” who we booked through and made us pay again. She said I had a cancellation email from the company and we needed to pay to get on the bus that was leaving. Obviously we paid as we didn’t want to miss the bus/flight for our holiday and was non the wiser to think she would be lying. On my holiday I checked all my emails junk/spam ect and emailed trusted travel about the cancellation and there was nothing. When I got back to the care park at the end of our holiday on the 24th I asked the same lady on reception about the cancellation again and how do we get our money back and she was no help at all! Said it’s nothing to do with her and to email trusted travel. I asked her how did she know our booking was cancelled if it’s “nothing to do with her” which she relied “I was just told” she had no proof of a cancellation to show and was pushing me to the side and did not want to help me one bit. Just wanted us out of the way. To top it off they drove our car and changed the parking spot for what reason I do not know? Would not recommend to anyone. Also I would like my money back for the parking that I paid for TWICE.
Car all scratched and damaged on one…
Car all scratched and damaged on one corner. Can’t get a reply from them. Mileage also up from leaving it until I got back. Pay a bit more and park it on the multi story, care park are so unprofessional.
