Very bad experiece in fact the worst ive come across greet you all smiling then rip you off with over the top prices i will not use again,this has been confirmed by another garage me or hubby are not pleased.

not the best by a long shot and super expensive with it, you are told 1 thing then another, i had to chase them and trying to have a conversation with the girl was just none existent, constantly talking over me, not listening, they will not accept any responsibility for any wrong doing whatsoever! very good at trying to place their mistakes on you, very poor customer services and constantly having to chase them to find out whats going on.they change their story on absolutely everything they say to you.

As a semi confident self taught Mechanic i tend to take care of my own vehicles however some things are out of my skill range and require specialist equipment, after a few expierences with cowboys i was lucky to stumble across CarFriend, as soon as i called them i was put through to Vicky, which it became apparent almost immediately she cared deeply for her customers and about getting the issues resolved, from the start Vicky was transparent and upfront about potential costings even giving worse case scenario but also explaining WHY it could possibly be that much, after going back and forth we got my car booked in initially i was told it would be ready for collection mid afternoon so imagine my surprise when i got a phonecall off Vicky at lunchtime saying the job was done and it cost significantly less than we thought!

A few days later due to the nature of the work undertaken i took it back for a health check just to ensure everything was in working order Vicky was absent but luckily Hannah was in and she was just as friendly as Vicky, offering me a cuppa and biscuits whilst i was waiting and just having a general chat about all things cars the hour soon flew by and i was plesently suprised to recieve a full indepth report of all the components of my Car!

This will now be the only garage i go to!

I've been bringing my cars to CarFriend for 6 years, and my Nissan Qashqai has been the most challenging yet. From the initial health check to the dreaded MOT and service, the team, especially Vicki, has always been transparent and efficient. When the red engine light appeared, Hannah quickly arranged the necessary work and kept me informed every step of the way. Despite further issues, the team resolved everything promptly. Massive thanks to Hannah, Vicki, Ross, and the lads for their outstanding service and getting me back on the road! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

CarFriend is the only garage I've trusted since moving to the area 6 years ago. They're open, honest, and nothing is too much trouble. Vicki is an absolute asset, ensuring everything goes smoothly from start to finish. Hannah has been incredibly helpful, especially during the red engine light saga, keeping me updated and making sure all the work was done promptly. Ross has always been there for honest and open chats about potential issues and how to handle them.

Whenever I've had concerns, the team has addressed them with care and professionalism. For example, when the red engine light reappeared, Hannah reassured me and quickly arranged further diagnostics and repairs. Vicki and Ross took the time to explain potential future issues and the steps to take if they occurred, which gave me peace of mind.

Previous work has always been reasonable and clearly explained. I'm baffled by the negative reviews. I've taken multiple cars to CarFriend over the years, from simple fixes to complex jobs, and never experienced anything remotely close to what the negative reviews suggest. They must be talking about a different garage because CarFriend's reputation and hundreds of positive reviews speak for themselves. If you're looking for a local garage, don't be discouraged by false impressions from the negative nancys, CarFriend is the only garage i trust in a 100 mile radius if given the choice of dealership or CarFriend it wouldnt even be a question. CarFriend would trump it every time. From Servicing Care Plans Diagnostics or just simply a quick check over for piece of mind (as the CEO of panicking and overthinking) they really do it all no car jargon no surpise scary bills honesty from the minute you speak to them as well as added extras such as a points system (handy when your nissan likes to spontaneously fall apart) to a cuppa whilst your waiting.

Don't trust this Garage at all you have been warned, they may smile and offer you tea but they are very dishonest I had four different quotes for welding, and I first contacted them they quoted £120. 00 for welding I took my car to them they got back to me and said its a bit worse than we originally thought, I thought well that's okay they quoted me £380 I accepted, left my car there for a week then they got back to me again and said it could cost 1,000 I said okay if you could just do the job, then then got back to me again and quoted 4,900 I sad NO your a rip off to make matters worse they damaged my car left oil all over the Visser bonnet, I have since had the work done from a specialist welding garage and the cost was nowhere near what they quoted it cost me 1k to fix, when I told this garage about carfriend they said that's a totally rip off and they said that they had heard bad stories before about this garage, I actually hate to leave business negatives but these people really deserved this negative.

Hands down the best team I’ve ever had the pleasure in dealing with, exceptional service fantastic comms and couldn’t be more helpful. Really made my track car build journey an absolute pleasure. Always made time for my questions and incessant “dropping in” for a coffee and to check on progress. Overall A+++

Awful experience. Took car for evaluation and picked it back up in a worse condition. Carfriend completely denied doing any work on it and have washed their hands of the problem

Great communication, service and prices

Had to have a new steering rack on my c max which is quite an expensive job. Car friend came in with the cheapest price and were very accomodating. Car had a full health check and although other things needed doing they wasn't pushy for me to pay and get them done. Staff are amazing especially Vicki who talked me through everything from what needed doing to what had been done. Deffinately be returning

Took my car in may to have abs module done in may paid over 500 pound for it,also they had my car a month before it was fixed ,the module went again end of September, so told them and they said they would contact the people they had it off told me at the start it was a life time guarantee, then said they need to order another one second hand,which only covered 30 days,while waiting for this to arrive,somewhere along the line the abs module got lost in transit,baring in mind this almost 2 weeks waiting,eventually they decided to look at the module themselves, said it was ok,cut long story short,they had the car nearly 6weeks got it back and now pinicle not working ,but when I went to fetch it back when they said it was ready,was completely dead,so have had the worst 6 weeks of my life,would not recommend them to anyone ever,then received a tex saying due for m o t my reg but a completely different car aboustly useless

I recently had a problem with my old SLK Mercedes. The ABS light would not go off. I had taken this to 3 garages and they could not resolve the problem. I took it to Car Friend and they put it right for me. It was a big job and they diagnosed the problem that no-one else had identified. The service they provided was first class, they went the extra 'mile' and regularly kept me updated. Without doubt the best garage I have ever dealt with and at nearly 74, I've been to a few. I can't recommend this place enough. Vicky and Becky are first class also at customer service.

Have had two cars serviced with Car Friendly and I can thoroughly recommend them. Vicki went out of her way to keep me informed of progress she is very knowledgeable. I found them value for money and will definitely use them in the future.

Absolutely amazing service, was in a bit of a pickle but they came to my rescue. Had the parts ready for me within 5 minutes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company without a shadow of a doubt.

Took my Jaguar in for 4 wheel alignment as it had a slight pull to the left.. Booked in initially to check that all was free underneath as the car is now 11yrs old. Good communication, Gemma and Vicki are the very pleasant face of the operation and booked me in when dropping the car off. After I left there was some initial mix up with pricing and the actual model and spec of my car but this was efficiently addressed and dealt with, without any fuss, the alignment was carried out as well as a brief check of the underside of the vehicle to ensure all was well. My vehicle was then delivered back to me and with an adjustment in the price due to the misunderstanding absolutely brilliant service, Car Friend do go above and beyond. Thanks again to Gemma and Vicki and the guys in the workshop. Excellent result yet again.

Visited today to have two rear suspension springs fitted. I received excellent service from the moment I arrived.
I was even provided with a lovely cup of coffee and biscuit.
The price was extremely fair and I will be using them again. Highly recommend!!!

Car Friend really are your car's friend!! Their attention to detail is exceptional. Vicki is kind and is able to explain everything in a way I was able to understand, nothing was too much trouble.

Having used Car Friend several times now. I can say they are warm, honest and professional. They really helped as much as they could with my old Jaguar. We all still laugh about that before I got sensible and now we have both our Kia Proceed GT and Fiesta ST Line looked after by this incredible team. I would highly recommend Car Friend to others looking for a trustworthy and reliable servicing company.

I would highly recommend Car Friend, they are an excellent company, the work is 1st class, as is there customer service. I wouldn't take my vehicles any where else!
