I was very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this dealership based on the level of after-sales support I received.
I purchased a vehicle from them and identified a significant fault within two days of taking possession. The issue was reported promptly, yet I encountered difficulties in securing full support for the associated costs.
While the dealer has contributed partially towards the repair, they have refused to cover the full costs, including the diagnostic work required to identify and confirm the fault.
As a result, I have had to pursue this matter through formal dispute resolution channels.
Prospective buyers are strongly advised to exercise caution and to obtain clear, written confirmation in advance regarding how post-purchase faults, warranty arrangements, and responsibility for diagnostic or related costs will be handled.

Would highly advise not buying a car from here, do not take the people who have had bad experiences lightly. They ask you to write a review while you’re at the dealership and it’s awkward to say no given the salesman act all nice. Once there are issues with the car and the after sales team deal with you, you’ll realise there is no professionalism there, just cunningness. Horrible horrible company.
Updated for response: you keep copy and pasting the same lines under the bad reviews. If you read my review you would know I have already contacted them and been met with rudeness and neglect - such as your response which clearly shows that you don’t really care about people’s bad experiences and just paste the same rubbish to everyone.

The entire experience has been extremely terrible.
1. The core issue is that I was sold a used car full of problems. First, the head unit was faulty — it could connect to Bluetooth but was unable to play music. I had no choice but to send the car to a BMW service centre for a full inspection. The diagnostic report clearly stated that the entire head unit needs to be completely replaced and further tested/programmed. Secondly, I was informed that the exhaust flange joint had been fitted with exhaust paste instead of a proper gasket. This indicates that the vehicle’s service history has been completely falsified.
2. I was also sold what I believe to be a fraudulent warranty. I was already very reluctant when purchasing this warranty, but the salesperson insisted on selling it to me. When my entertainment system was sent in for repair, I was then told that the maximum payout limit was only £500 — whereas at the time of sale, the salesperson clearly told me that any loss or repair cost would be fully covered. They are now playing word games with the terms and conditions. The salesperson is a liar.
3. When I contacted Cargem’s after-sales department, they informed me that they were unwilling to proceed with the repair. When I tried to contact the salesperson again, the salesperson deliberately ignored my messages.
This is a fraudulent company. Do not let them cheat you out of a single penny.

Dear All Just bought my first car from Cargem. Before buying the car the team was amazing ,customer oriented.
Finally the car was delivered to our door step ,so far so all good.
Next day morning I was about to wipe the car and I noticed the wiper seal was hanging out, which was not noticed during the test drive .
Called up Car gem the person who Sold the car (X).This is when the actual customer service shows up ,very negative and unprofessional.
Just received an email stating that it’s not covered under warranty even though the car is still not on the road.
I’m not expecting anything but the way the things were handled shows how you take care of your customers, doesn’t matter weather you buy a new car or used car but we are still paying for it .
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND CARGEM
MR.JAS ..As a manager you need to change your approach towards your valued customer.
Thnx

We travelled quite a distance to view a car with a certain spec we wanted which is few and far between, and the vehicle itself was exactly what we wanted and seemed in good condition. Unfortunately, the experience itself wasn't great and deteriorated for us as soon as we saw their part exchange offer...
The very first question we were asked was whether our car was a category vehicle, which felt odd. They then took our car away for checks for quite a long while and proceeded to repeatedly drive it around their car park, moving it between multiple spaces. I get they need to check what they might be buying from you, but the whole process felt a bit unnecessary compared to other experiences we've had.
We were told our car was in “really good condition", which gave us some confidence in the valuation we were about to receive. However, the part exchange offer was way too low. I've since had a couple of part ex valuations, one for almost £2,000 more (and for context we're not talking a multiple thousands, expensive car here!).
When we declined the offer and left, a member of staff followed us outside saying, “I can see what we can do,” yet when I explained what we were expecting for the car the reaction was like we were dreaming. We'd done our research and knew what it could sell for, so found this a bit annoying. Also why not offer the best deal you can to begin with...
Based on our experience, and echoed by many other reviews, it seems Cargem might attempt to convince you that you're getting a good deal when the reality is different. This might explain why their cars initially appear really good value too?
The overall environment added to the discomfort as well. The office setup felt chaotic. There were also multiple staff members hanging around outside in view of customers in the test area. Our test drive was restricted to laps around their car park (with loads of speed bumps) so you couldn't get a proper feel for the car anyway. When you compare it to other dealerships, the experience just felt a bit unprofessional.
We had also asked to view another car at the same time, which we were told over WhatsApp was available...then that it was in their prep centre, but not actual confirmation we wouldn't be able to view it. I'm not sure why you advertise it when no one can look at it? Or just pop a "coming soon" on there or something, so that communication definitely could've been clearer. The car we did see, we did actually buy a report for and Cargem told us it had one previous owner when it had two, so that was another little red flag.
We can’t comment on the long-term quality of their cars as we walked away, and our sales rep was friendly and not pushy. Everyone we interacted with was very nice, but there was no way we were buying from there with such a low ball part exchange offer.
