Every single email takes 3-4 days to get reply, communication is very BAD, once you need them... you can forget about it, you'll never get reply. This is how it was done with me, writing review after a week I got no reply to my question... Not recommended in short.

I had an accident with my car and I'm happy I had the insurance by CarInsuRent (policy 21912). I've reported to CarInsuRent on the day after my accident once got home. I was sceptic about getting the money back, because I didn't actually buy the insurance in my home country, but went for CarInsuRent as they were less expensive. I haven't even thought what I should do in case of accident. Wrote to them, explaining all the situation. They asked for documents, which were emailed by the rental company and then I was waiting for about 2 weeks and today I've received the payment. Thanks a lot for the great service! Although it takes a lot of time, but at the end once all documents are collected, it's just about time.

The company works responsibly. Payment made in accordance with the conditions. A small flaw is that the answers to the questions in the process of communication by e-mail were made with some delay. The rest of the work is excellent.

I would also like to share my experience of claiming with them. There was a bit of time spent, (particularly in respect to the settlement that is currently required by them to be by Paypal), and a wait on the lengthy side for a reply sometime, but in the end they did not disappoint. As for the information provided on the website and in policy documents, it would be better if they provided more reassurance about safety of their coverage, such as, who are the underwriters, what complaints procedures are available in case clients are unsatisfied and so on. There are also some differences in terms & conditions for insurance coverage as shown on the website and in the pdf file with the policy wording, which should be addressed.

I would give 4.5 over 5 rating!! why not 5, because of the website and facebook fan pages really need to improve to look more professional!

I wouldn't say the cheapest car rental insurance company. But much better price! People might ask why dont i go for the cheapest one, so here is why. Because im not from UK or Europe, which most 3rd party car insurance company only insured these people.

I'm from Malaysia. It's so hard to find 3rd party insurance company to insured me, although there are, but they cover excess up to like 500 USD, i'm like.. might as well dont cover me LOL, and the fees are no cheap too!!

I traveled to Iceland, as Iceland car rental are kind of strict on all kind of minor damage (even minor scratches from sand), and usually other 3rd party car insurance company dont cover
Iceland or with higher insurance fee. But CarInsuRent cover me, with slighty higher insurance fee.

Besides, the CarInsuRent team is very responsive in all kind of inquiry through email or phone, which i like the most!! Despite that there is no claim made at the end, but still i highly recommend people choose their service!

This is the amended review for my experience with the company. After some misunderstanding, they handled my claim properly and I was fully paid by the sum charged by the rental company. Although it took a long time to receive the money eventually the company handles the claims properly. Be prepared that part of the payement goes for PayPal fees as probably this is the only way the compang pays claims. I’m ok with that, as it’s only about 3-4%, but may be useful to ask if other options are available. As well there is an additional fee if money is withdrawn to the bank account.

This is an affordable car hire excess insurance that serves people from India. The site provide useful information and saves money compared with paying hire car companies for their excess cover.

fastly returned my money back when I was involved in a traffic accident in Italy. Avis get all amount of my deposit and CarInsuRent reimburse it fully in a 1,5 weeks. Thanks for clear service!

Glad to find carinsurent. I found their customer service team very responsive, friendly to help and answer all the questions we have. Well recommended.

We took a rental car in Germany, insurance policy we have bought at CarInsuRent. Unfortunately we damaged a car (( Broker kept about EUR 210 from the deposit (it cost EUR 400 when we took a car), then we made a request to CarInsuRent. All money was transferred to my card in a few weeks.

They offered a very reasonably priced policy and when it came to making a claim the communication was great and the process which lead to a full refund went very smoothly- very much recommended!

Everything was ok, but it took 3 weeks to receive payment and not 5 days as promised...

The only so far, but the best car rental insurance experience!
