This is my 2nd review of this company
This is my 2nd review of this company. Both have unfortunately had to be negative due to the extremely poor after care and complaint responses from them.
Selling a car and arranging finance has been great by them, but I have now had 2 faulty cars with them which has taken months to get rectified or even correspondance correctly from them.
The 1st car I had was eventually returned and yiu can find the previous review on that one.
I am now, currently stuck with another vehicle source by this company which passed an MOT before delivery but had a shaking fault which I noticed immediately with it. I spoke with the actual dealership who supplied the car and they said to have it checked over with a local garage and they will arrange through the warranty for it to be repaired.
I took the vehicle to a local 'trusted' garage which I have used for years and they found just under £2k worth of immediate repairs needed, some of which should not have passed the MOT with and they also pointed out there was accident damage to the front drivers side of the car and this had neither been declared by the dealership upon sale or advertisement, nor by CarMoney themselves.
There was NO advisories on the recent MOT registered on the government website but my local garage found faulty ball joints and steering rack issues.
At 1st I had some communication by CarMoney saying that they had sent emails and made calls to the dealership and have been unable to get any response from them. I have also tried to get through to them on numerous occasions and without any response either.
I have called, emailed and text CarMoney over the last few weeks and am now getting absolutely no response from them either. I have cancelled my direct debit with the finance company and filed a complaint with them 'Again' about this company.
I have now also put in a complaint to the FCA, financial ombudsman and this week i am going to be applying to the small claims court to recover the vast amounts I have had to lay iut over 2 occasions for cars that DO NOT work and legally dangerous!
I also have a health condition which has been massively affected by the stress this company has put me under.
This company does not check over vehicles properly that they are arranging purchase through with them. The MOT issue is also being reported to the DVLA along with all involved.
Please be extremely cautious with this company and do not trust them to check the vehicles they source. You would be much better going to a reputable dealership.

Brilliant customer experience from this company! Reece made everything so simple and dealt with everything even through txt message which was excellent I was able to reply back whilst in work with out a million phone calls like other company’s do when applying for finance. My finance was up and ready and my new car collected within 2 days. 10000 % recommend car money and Reece to handle your application!
