Looks good, falls off are several minutes. Not the phone, just the whole unit falls off from what ever surface you mounted it on. Seeking refund but now being ghosted by company. Simply, unless you use their sticking plate to a surface it is useless and falls off in minutes! Their advertising does not show this as a necessity in fact they go to lengths to show you don’t need the sticking plate. Everyone beware!!!

Carmount is a fake product took my money instantly no confirmation they contacted me trying to get more information apparently they had no record of me but they have my money don’t try to buy from them

I bought a CarMount back in April, trusting their bold claim that it’s “the most secure mount on the market.” I drive a C4 Corvette — a car known for its stiff suspension — so I carefully installed the mount on the flattest surface available in the cabin. It worked great for two months… then the adhesive completely failed and the mount stopped holding.

When I contacted customer support, instead of offering a real solution, they blamed me for installing it incorrectly — even though I followed their instructions to a T. They responded with condescending comparisons (like saying it was the same as putting only two lug nuts on a wheel), refused a refund, and acted like the failure was entirely my fault.

They said they'd send fresh adhesive but never followed through. No tracking number, no confirmation, no update — just silence. Rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.

If your car isn’t a perfectly smooth ride with flat glass surfaces, this mount will fail — and they’ll just blame you for it. Total waste of money.

Update: 8/8/2025: I still have not received the item. Customer support got back to me and told me information I already know (that your shipment is held in customs). This is terrible business. After asking for a refund and also stating I would start a chargeback with my bank account, they have stopped the brief communication I have. Since July 14th, the tracking link indicates customs are holding it up (since it is coming from China). I would strongly encourage the buyer base not to support this business nor to give them your money. Go support another brand on Amazon if you need a car mount. Fine print on their website states if you don't get shipment in 30 days of your order date they will send a new one. Guess what- they have never responded to it though I have brought it up along with my request for refund.

Previous Entry: I purchased one of their carmount products via an Instagram ad on June 30th, 2025. Product shipped July 3rd, 2025. On their ad, there is no sign that these are shipping from China. As of this review (over one month) I still have received no shipment of what i paid $42.00 for. Last update on the tracking link they sent me was on July 14th. I emailed their customer support today but have not received a reply. We will see if they even do in days to come. Carmount is one of several companies that are doing business this way (think of the "healthy gum suppliers" you see on Instagram ads). I would say avoid most of them.

I do not recommended this product for people who prefer not to buy things from China or get fast shipment to the USA. I wish they were more transparent about their sourcing locations and communicated that in their ads. No matter what I have stated, they will not start a refund for me.

Ordered a phone dash mount on 13/7/25 in good faith and receive tracking information which appears inaccurate given advice that item was shipped from HK and arrived in Australia two hours later!!! Took company a couple of days to respond to my request for delivery but they did respond. Item arrived 22/7/25. Item appears fit for purpose but be aware it will not adhere to a dimpled dashboard with clutch lock only. Other than that it seems a good product.

I purchased the Carmount Buy 2 get 2 Free package and am very happy with the product. Installation was very easy; in fact, it is the first mounting system that has actually fit on my dashboard (too many curves). The mounting plate was just the right size to fit below the radio. It brings the navigation right into my line of sight, so I don't have to turn my head and take my eyes off the road. Safety first! The magnet is very strong and even holds my husband's cell phone in its thick case. We've got one in the car, one in the truck, and I gave one to my son for his car too. We used it during a long-distance road trip over the 4th of July, and it worked great. I'm very happy with the Carmount.

Just installed the Bloomcar doorsills and I am really impressed. They really dress up the car. And it's nice that you can change the 7 colour's depending on your mood. I like them so much that I also ordered the puddle lights to compliment them. Very nice product and well worth the money.Highly recommend.

Ordered on June 30 - on July 2 one of the units was put in 'pre transit' on July 4 the other was. It still hadn't started transit. Now on July 12 it has now begun 'transit' from China to Melbourne "6-12 days"

Their product page only shows 5 star reviews (no 1-4 star) and they say they've sold 1m products but have 21 reviews - and there is no button to WRITE review.

Ordered on June 29th… received an email that it was shipped on July 2nd and yet when you check progress of order it says that it’s being processed and details will be provided when shipped.
Have contacted them a couple of times and they provide the same generic answer that it will be updated in the next 24-48 hours… there still hasn’t been an update. Transparency and honesty needs to be better with customers. At the moment I’m of the belief that I’m not going to receive anything. Shouldn’t have to wait 30 days for refund either!

They are dropshipping from China, 7 days still hasn’t left the facility. Save your money and buy the same thing on Amazon for $11.
Contacted customer support who just lied to me and said they are not sending from China even though the tracking said it is.

I love this thing. I’ve bought it 3 times. Once for my car, once for my wife’s car and once for my Dad’s car as a birthday present. I will say that if you have a thick phone case, the phone may struggle holding into the magnetic portion of the mount and fall on a big bump in the road. But most folks nowadays have pretty thin cases, so, it shouldn’t be a problem for most. Highly recommended. No need to mess with plugging in phones or messing with cables.

I live in pothole laden new Hampshire and I've tried almost every phone mount/holder in existence. Carmount is THE real deal! Very good product, excellent quality and will mount practically anywhere!

Ordered product 5 days ago and yet to receive a tracking email to say it’s been shipped. Sent them an email and no response and tried calling the contact number but it just hangs up after connection. Am getting disheartened that I’m not actually going to receive the product 😞

Update: even though the website states delivery within 3-9 business days, it’s been 2 weeks since order and I’ve received an email stating it’s ‘arriving’ into my country from China and it will be delivered between 6-12 business days. So that could be a MONTH after order. Yeah. Nah

F3 is complete garbage...I have a Samsung 23 Ultra...I tried putting the mag ring to the phone and it wouldnt work through my SPECK case...I then tried putting the ring on the case and it wouldnt stick to it so super glued it...That worked BUT unless the mag ring was lined up perfectly with the base magnet, it wouldn't connect and even then, it kept falling off the base within a few minutes...When I tried using the wireless charging, again it wouldnt charge through my case...

The Carmount I ordered worked perfectly in my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500. The factory mount for the phone was too low. This Carmount holds my phone closer to eye level when driving.

Carmount, though a relatively new company, has truly outstanding customer service. I recently bought a product that didn't quite work with my existing equipment, and I was ready to just accept the loss.

However, Carmount proactively emailed me to check on my satisfaction. When I explained the issue, they promptly sent me the correct part free of charge, which resolved my problem completely.

I highly recommend Carmount for their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Wow after ordering half a dozen different mounts from dash styles, to large crane arms, to peel and stick to suction cups...THIS beats them all!! I wish I had seen this product sooner. It arrived as promised, well packaged, easy to follow instructions, and so easy to choose where it could be placed in vehicle. This has been such a blessing w/its swivel arm and easy to stick magnetic pad for my cell. I love that I also had to option to buy two more extra magnetic pad for family members phones. The hardware is solid and the magnetism is super strong. I saw the now have a glow ring option that I will consider in other cars and or as gifts. What a great idea for night viewing! Cool! I will never go back to those old fashioned cell phone car mounts.
