Beware, for me it was nothing more than a scam. I rented the car at night, they showed me a few scratches, but they were minor and I didn't pay too much attention. Upon returning the car they changed me 350 euros for scratches that I was not responsible for. Don't rent at night! Take detailed pictures of the entire car and not just the scratches they show you! Probably best to just stay away. One more thing, in Cluj-Napoca airport they advertise as "Meet and greet", not the case. Their office is a couple of miles outside the airport. They arrived late to explain and pick me up

Unfortunately, I have to inform you of an extraordinarily unpleasant experience that took place at your office in Timisoara (Giarmata) airport.

On 22.12.2020 I made the reservation n ° 623371875 at Timisoara airport. The car would have been necessary to move urgently (me and my 80-year-old father) to Arad. His brother had been diagnosed with the already famous SARS-CoV-2 and was going to hospitalize him because his health has been poor for 25 years since he goes on dialysis 4 times a week. Unfortunately, taking over the car was not possible despite the fact that all the necessary documents were in order and the reservation had been confirmed.

On 12/26/2020 in the morning at approximately 09:20, we arrive at the office at Traian Vuia airport but the office is closed, the schedule on the door indicates the Saturday program as being open between 9 am-13pm. I call the number indicated on the door at 09:54 (I have screenshots of the call time) and I have the opportunity to be clarified by a young lady (with severe attitude problems) that in fact it is our fault that I was late, during opening hours. The statement is at least absurd considering that the young lady was in the service schedule, we arrived during the program and the dance was not present. After 30-40 minutes the young lady appears at the airport office where we are waiting for her in the rain (the airport being closed). The first unpleasant surprise was the presence of the sneakers, sweatpants or pajamas (my father and I did not reach an agreement on this), uncombed, etc. It was clear that she had been woken up and came straight from bed to the office for the first time on 12/26/2020, forgetting to go to the bathroom to at least brush her teeth. We enter the office, the car being rented in my name, I have a passport, a driver's license and 3 different credit cards (not debit) for any eventuality - American Express is not very popular, I also have VISA or MC. The conversation is carried out by the young lady and my father, I being on the phone with the hospital where I was going to eventually hospitalize my uncle / father's brother; at one point your employee addresses my father with a Football field vocabulary that I refuse to reproduce in writing and tells us authoritarily and in an excessively high tone that she does not give us the car. Asking her what the reason is, the employee answers that it's her right and she doesn't like "me" and starts screaming to get out. My father and I were a little frozen, not understanding the reason for this unusual reaction and the slum attitude. I don't think it makes sense to mention that the situation got complicated in our case, while the young lady was heading victoriously and with a determined step towards her personal vehicle with which she was going away from her office, leaving us in the rain and without a car and needless to say that the 100% payment was kept by the Company on the grounds that we were 1,5 Hours late. Aparently mathematics are not your strong side either.
The Company also erases bad comments from the official site.
Needless to say, in these conditions it will be extremely difficult to recommend you as a company or to use your own services.

I booked a vehicle in January 2021 for a weekend gateway in the mountains. I needed a 7 seat vehicle, and Caroutis was the only company (at the time) that could provide me one. The vehicle was reliable, comfortable and clean. The agent, Daniel was very polite, on time, and flexible with the pick up time.

I honestly advise against booking this car hire company, and here is why:
I booked a car which had a lower price than average of that category (my mistake, right), but since I was booking via an important aggregator, and company's rating was good, I hoped that will be a good deal...wrong!
Keeping a long story short, the car hire company wasn't able to provide the car I have booked invoking the reason that I was 3 hours late to my booking and they already gave the car to someone else... (was 3AM and the car company had my flight details + the booking was prepaid). what they proposed in place? they proposed me a car from a lower class (Dacia Duster) for a difference from my side...so of course I refused and canceled the reservation. As I consider this to be a SCAM to attract people with a lower price , but then to force them to change the reservation, please be careful if you are tempted to book this car hire company.
As courtesy of car hire aggregator, I had the full amount returned, but after three weeks in which I had the money blocked.

The services both at the pick up location and at the call center were great. They grant the possibility to rent a car without a credit card if you pay the full insurance, which was very helpful. The car was well maintained. Overall a really good experience

The cars are ok, good shape, nothing to say bad, but for customer support "aftersales" 0 stars. After delivering back the car, I asked the person there to offer me just a 1 km curtesy ride for me and my daughter back to the hotel which was very close by. I was refused, even I offered to pay, due to the fact he had to go around too much. Anyway, expecting a taxi which did not show up, also no taxi will take you 1 km only, hilariously an employee from Sixt rental company who share the same location I believe, seeing me with my daughter sitting there waiting for a cab in the cold for more than 30 min, offered me a ride with his car. Funny story no? That s life, just business, we forgot to be human !
