Used Carq for our car rental for our week in Greece. We were picked up from the airport, the staff were really friendly and helpful, even checking we were ok when we couldn't get our satnav to work (we bought it with us from the UK). They helped with directions and gotvus on our way quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use should we return to Greece!

Difficult communication and locating pick up, unclear location with no proper instructions provided. When finally managed to speak to someone to locate pick up, I was to blamed for being late for reservation at airport pick up while they had all flight details to check on flight delays and had provided invalid phone number so any personal attempts to inform and ask for guidance were unsuccessful. Car provided was good, clean and value for money.

Excellent service all round. Easy to locate (just across from arrivals hall). Very helpful. Great price!

Overall the service was good. Pick up after opening hours cost 40euro extra at Iraklion Airport. The issue is that we were charged for 350 euro for s scratch which was less than 1 cm on the bumper, we did not buy the extra insurance, which apparently was a mistake.
However, for such a small scratch they should not charge that amount of money. There is no Terms and Conditions on their webpage neither conditions for damages or scratches where you can read more. Neither such document was provided by them on pick up. Just a list with deposit info and minimum charge amount if vehicle is damaged. For me this is a scam. I booked directly on their page to be more secure and thy say they give 10 % discount which is not true either. Very disappointed.

Had to buy additional insurance because our debit card was not accepted, although we had a contract that guarantees the usage of a debit card.

Everything was fine. The car was clean and full tanked.

The office is not in the airport at Kalamata, but we were met outside and driven to the office in about 5 minutes. They were very friendly and helpful and in a very short time we were off! The car was a Panda, not very powerful going uphill, but adequate for 2 persons and their luggage. Very nice people to deal with.I apprehended renting from an unknown company, but was very pleasantly surprised, and the price was very reasonable.

Great service. Morning of travel, team from Tirana messaged confirming where they will meet. Good communication, arrived to a great Skoda which was reliable throughout the trip. Genuine people, did pre appraisal with myself to make sure nothing was missed. Dropping car back off was simple as well, went round with company rep confirming no new damage. Holding deposit landed back in my account a week later. Couldn’t be more happier with the experience I had.

Very bad experience with CarQ when we arrived in Crete. We had rented a rental car in advance but after having paid in advance for part online, it was impossible to pay the rest at the agency. Our credit card payments were declined each time even though we can pay internationally. We stayed for 2 hours trying to resolve the problem, our bank cards worked everywhere in Crete except at this rental agency. We went to another rental agency further away, and no problem. CarQ is a big scam, no refund was given to us! Run away !

Very friendly staff, they actively contacted me when and where to be ready for the pick up. I received the car promptly. As I was late for my departure flight, they made sure that the car return go swiftly and got me to the airport fast. Very happy with this company.
There were no tricks, it is a solid rental company.

Awful experience with this company, gave them flight details in advance and driver still took a good half an hour or so before meeting us at the agreed location outside arrivals. Once he took us to the office, their machine supposedly gave an error each time when trying to put the deposit on my British credit card (tried three different cards). Ruined our start to the holiday and the unhelpful employee told us that we can either buy the Turkish insurance or cancel the reservation, I already had third party excess insurance in place so cancelled the reservation and managed to source a rental from another car company that operated far more professionally and were able to get us sorted.

The check-in was very fast. Car was in good condition. All transactions were smooth and as expected. Highly recomended.

Our flight was delayed, I emailed ahead to give warning, I recieved a reply that I would be charged 40€ for being an hour late, even though I arrived still within office hours. Luckily I didn't get charged the extra, which is great but I didn't understand why I would have been emailed such and make me unnecessarily worry?
Car was fine, as we ordered. They did try to push the extra insurance on me, I declined as I have my own. I took video and photos of the car and all scratches were noted by the gentleman there.
I returned the car very easily, a quick check and it was accepted back.
For the price, this service overall was brilliant. I did witness another couple being charged €350 for a teeny scratch to their car, which was completely disproportionate, and I wonder if this is how they make their money (the cars are so cheap that I guess they make their real revenue this way). My advice would be to check and double check the car, take videos and pics, and on return make sure you have it checked whilst you wait.
Overall a positive experience, and we would recommend them. We will use again.

It was a really straightforward, sensible, individual service and I got great tips for places to visit and things to do.

Very efficient and friendly service.

Everything worked fine and quick. We were picked up at the airport and brought to the company. Then we did a check of the car and they wrote every dent/scratch down.
On the day of the return it rained, so the car was a bit dirty. But the employee said not to worry about it and accepted the car after a very quick check. Afterwards they drove us to the airport.
No pressure to get any insurance, no hidden cost (Airport transfer is included).
What was also great was, that you can pay the deposit with a debit card, not just credit card.

Good service, kind and professionell staff, good cars, we will prefere this agency again
