The options that you are offered and the options that you find by yourself are always different. Recently I've been looking for options to go on vacation. I've decided to go to the agency (I've had no time at all). But when they've offered to reserve a car that would cost as a third part of that car for a week, I've been shocked. I've gone to the popular site and not only found, but also rented the required car at the ridiculous price.

Pricing was opaque - when I arrive at the pickup location was informed that there were a number of mandatory and quite expensive items that were not included in the voucher received from CarScanner. I contacted customer care countless times and in every one of them I was told that there was nothing they could do. In short, not reliable Company with a customer care that is beyond bad. Stay away, unless you want to get a final invoice twice as expensive as the price Car Scanner advertises.

I have already bookmarked this website because I’ve tried it while renting a car in Macedonia and I got really satisfied with the price and quality of the search service.

The search and design is ok, but I give it three stars as the support team didn't answer me at once. I had to wait the reply for 2 hours.

paid £186 on line for 12 days in Ireland last June only to pay another £467 pounds at the the desk at Dublin airport for add on's paid twice for insurance even though it said no more payments on voucher, thanks car trawler for messing up our holiday.

I felt quite good about renting a car via your website. All went very well not counting that some e-mails from support team went to junk mail folder and I couldn't find them at once.

The website is good and beautiful. For me interface is important too. Concerning the service it's very well organized. The quick search allows to find as many cars as possible, prices are good and the team itself is always ready to answer all questions.

The booking process was easy and fast, the car rental iteslf was ok. No issues at all except the fact that after our arrival to get the car, they had not exactly the car we booked. Nevertheless, they offered us another similar car. That was ok.

Very dishonest! We booked an economy car (5 seats and 2 luggage) and got a mini car (4 seats and 1 luggage) and cars-scanner claims that they are of the same category when it clearly isn't - even as displayed on their own website. Can't bother taking legal action, just will never use their service again. This has never has happened to me before. Stay away.

This friendly service helped me to find my best option of car rental. I could choose in a list of cars in Drezden and booked the cheapest one. They had good discounts. Good economy. Delicious experience of this trip was in many ways due to this website. Surely, i'll use it next time.

Initially I booked a hire car from Gold Car for a holiday in Malta via Cars Scanner. My initial feedback is good: the website is clear, the price of the car hire from Gold Car beat all the opposition by miles. The telephone operator was always polite and helpful on the times I rang.

The friction and unhappiness occurred post booking. 48 hours before our trip I realised I had misplaced the PIN number of the credit card. I rang both Gold Car (who were utterly useless and simply recommended taking out a vastly inflated insurance policy) and Cars Scanner who gave several sensible suggestions. Due to the dreadful experience of my communications with Gold Car I did not want to give them more money and agreed with Cars Scanner to move (at no extra charge - a kind concession) to Rhodium. My experience with Rhodium was the worst car hire experience in 30 years of hiring cars abroad (see separate review).

My criticism of Cars Scanner is that they did not disclose that Gold Car and Rhodium are fundamentally the same company and it is improbable they did not know this given how easily I checked this upon our return plus when I completed the Cars Scanner feedback questionnaire I asked for someone to contact me and supply evidence to support a number of assertions made by staff at Rhodium regarding information I would have been given by them: to date no response from Cars Scanner.

Amazing was my trip to Netherlands in many ways due to cars-scanner's service. They provided me with a good car at a very reasonable price. So, I enjoyed my travel and was so much happy. Order Nl5439827563
