Hello CARS24 Customer Support Team,
I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the service I received from CARS24.
Your platform claims to provide transparent pricing and proper guidance, but my experience was completely opposite. New cars are offered at approximately 7% charges, while old cars are being sold at nearly 12%, which clearly indicates excessive commission being deducted for your own benefit.
There was no proper guidance, no customer support assistance, and no clarity in the process. Apart from the name of “service,” nothing meaningful was provided. The entire experience felt misleading and unfair.
Such practices seriously damage customer trust. I request a detailed explanation of the charges applied in my case and expect corrective action at the earliest.
If this issue is not addressed promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter further.

Pathetic service , they are calling you to get the money out of your pocket, they can't sell your car, so dont use it , its better to contact local dealer

Dear Friends…Would like to share my experience with CARS24 for selling old car.These guys dont have any genuine buyers and only forcing you to opt for various paid subscriptions and that too one after another but at the last you might be having subscriptions of 2K but you will not even be able to reach out to anyone even through customer care.

DONT OPT FOR CARS24.

I had two cars to sell and chose Cars24, only to have a very disappointing experience.

I was forced to buy separate bidding packages — one for Karnataka bidding and another (more expensive) for all-India bidding.
Before purchasing the package, the app showed the following estimated price ranges:

Car 1: ₹5.0L – ₹5.8L

Car 2: ₹2.75L – ₹3.10L

After paying for the all-India bidding package, the actual offers received were shockingly lower:

Car 1: ₹4.8L

Car 2: ₹1.83L

The difference between what was shown before payment and what was actually offered was massive. It felt misleading and honestly like a bait-and-switch. I immediately requested a refund.

Unfortunately, there is no phone support, only email. After 10 days of back-and-forth, I still did not receive my refund for 2nd car. With no other option, I escalated the issue on Twitter by tagging the CEO — and suddenly, within 24 hours, the refund was processed.

Eventually, I sold both cars to Spinny, who offered better prices, a transparent process, and no paid packages.

This experience completely eroded my trust in Cars24. I won’t be using their service again.

Carz 24 is the best platform but the employees who they hired very bad specially yesterday i had sold my ertiga person who came to pick my car was very polite ,At the time od picking he asked me good luck when i denied his behaviour was totally changed started negative talking on phone he thought i left from there its very unprofessional even he asked for posotive review which was given by me main face he had shown post denying the amount

Biggest scammers. They took the order but their vendor contacting and cancelling the order by stating we can not provide service at the cost mentioned. Happened thrice with me. Stay away.

Dear Mr. Kumar:

I have indeed already been trying to "contact" you / CARS24 for resolution / clarifications over the past 10 odd days, without resolution to my concerns.

(It is requested to reply with the trail mails intact for better continuation and grasp of the issues.)

I had approached CARS24 on the assumption and repeated assurances of your various personnel / officers that it was the largest and specific portal, and the car would get sold at around the listing price (as suggested by CARS24 itself) of Rs. 3.52, failing which the listing amount would be refunded But, whereas there have been zero responses at the CARS24 portal even after several days (I suspect because it is being targeted to dealers and not directly to consumers.), I have received more than 10 responses (2.3 - 2.8 lacs) at the OLX portal within a day of listing there !

The sum total of the matter is that CARS24 is non-transparent ..... instead of being a straight forward customer friendly portal, it is geared to extract amounts from them at every stage .... inspection, CARS24 Pro, false insurance information, etc. A number of different persons with non-actionable contradictory statements / "tentative" offers by CARS24 itself to directly buy the car @ 3.08 lacs, etc., all designed to be fishing expeditions, and not to sell the car.

Further, the insurance is wrongfully shown on the portal to expire on February 02, 2025, instead of February 02, 2026; the address / location (Belgaum road) is incorrect and misleading; spare key is shown as not there when in fact it is there. In addition, there is no direct exit option from the CARS24 portal, and there is the additional issue of many repeat nuisance / irrelevant / unwanted SMS.

In summation:
1. if CARS24 has a firm, and not a "tentative", offer then kindly do so upfront;
2. abate the nuisance promotional SMS messages;
3. correct the erroneous / false car information;
4. the promised 3-4 customers for offers around the listing price, and test drive / closure; and,
5. if these are not possible, to refund the listing price of Rs. 1299.

Sir, it is better to put every specific issue in writing only .... anything verbal will be as per my version only.

Never trust these people. I'm an Army Officer, who had to face the fraud by them, recently. They inspected my car in my location and offered a very low price for the car in perfect condition with very low kilometers covered. When I protested, they said that it was because of the hassles of inter-state NOC transfer and that the I did not have to worry anything about transfer of ownership. They withheld Rs 10000, saying that it would be returned after the change of ownership within 90 days. After 90 days, when I approached them for the refund they flatly refused and said that it was spent on transfer of ownership. When I confronted them that it was not the official agreement, they stopped responding to my calls and mails. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy company

I found cars 24 to be the most fraudulent online auto resellers their entire focus is on selling pro plan and earn 1000 rs from every seller I guess that’s their business model. Had absolutely worst experience with them they have no idea about valuation or even car inspection ,all the exterior was shown as repainted for my car vaguely prepared report and absolutely zero response. The only thing they do is to ask you a reduced price every day without any offer. Because rs 1000 has already been received and goal is achieved at their end.
Would suggest everyone to try other options but don’t get in the fraudulent trap of cars 24
I have even deleted my account with them for that also they take 6 month just to boost their numbers manipulation everywhere.

Third class service of cars 24 they are not responding to our call took appointment amount and not responding to us staff is to worst of cars 24 ,sneha ambikar there staff consultant not recieving a single call worst app ever to sell or purchase a car

Took extra money to buy my card, quoted a price which I accepted, and then reduced the offer again. Very unprofessional and misleading. Would not recommend.

Was compelled to buy the Pro package to get more prices across India.
Got exactly 0 offers - instead sold on Spinny which was much more organised and persistent in keeping in touch.
Cars24 did refund me considering my experience which was very professional from their end.
I genuinely thought auction would work well - may be for my next car I’ll try again.
