I dont have option to give ZERO or Negative star here. They are very mean and very patient till time the sell the car (they made lot of mess, non-cleanness during the process that is another big story), however, after sale support is VERY VERY NEGATIVE. Person who sold car to me, so called my point of contact and Finance person all are changed their department (what a co-incidence !!!!! right??) when i try to reach for Servicing my car. I have paid more than 20K for one year support, parts and one free service. There is no number to reach Customer care for support. Customer care is there for only purchasing and not for servicing. I booked through their app, it says "my person will resch you in 4hours" and i got a call after one month asking what is the status. No re-booking option. Total helpless people and i end up giving it out side.

My Recommendation: DO NOT BUY THINGS from CAR24. If you do, you are on your own.

Fraudulent experience – Paid for service but no response
​I am extremely disappointed with Cars24. They promised to help me sell my car "Person to Person" and collected a payment from me for this service. However, immediately after the payment was made, their executives stopped answering my calls and there has been zero progress on the sale. This feels like a complete scam. I have been left with no car sale and no refund. I strongly advise everyone to be very careful before paying them any money upfront. They are quick to take your money but provide no service and If any person get call from this number 8065829494 scam number

Very Bad Experince with Cars24India.
I applied for the seeling of car.
They have taken the charges in the name of selling it to Dealers & Again Taken charges to sell it,directly to customer with the commitment of return the charges if the car didnot get sell in a month..
Rest is History Now..No Money get refunded,No car get sold..

No professional attitude. Just trying to sell paid plans only. I have already paid Rs.850 /- approx on the name of pan India auction but offered very low price. Offered to take additional plan. Always cut calls in mid of conversation in case you don’t convince for additional paid plans.

This company is totally fake at the time of purchasing he cheated me by providing fake information when I caught they compensate me.

Apart from this beware while purchasing because they didn't share full information and read your contract or agreement carefully recently i face lots of problems I think cars 24 should care only buy and purchase matter

I am extremely concerned and frustrated with Cars24’s gross negligence. I sold my car to Cars24 on July 30, 2024, yet as of December 2025, nearly 17 months but the ownership (RC transfer) has still not been completed.
Despite raising multiple complaints (Complaint ID: 1967868), Cars24 has failed to resolve this, and their negligence is now causing me severe personal and legal distress:
• Police Calls: Today, I received a call from an individual claiming to be from the Bangalore Police, stating my former vehicle has been abandoned/parked illegally for days.
• Blackmail: I am being contacted and harassed/blackmailed by a third-party buyer (who apparently bought the car in May 2025) because the paperwork is incomplete.
• Legal Liability: I am being held responsible for a vehicle I haven't owned or possessed for over a year.
I need an immediate update on the RC transfer status and a letter of indemnity from Cars24 regarding these harassment calls.

Bad experience, they charge money from the customers unnecessarily. There are agents don't have any knowledge. Pls don't use this app it's completely fake.

I m recently purchased cars from cars 24, small issue In my car , issue raised from cars 24 app , they are assigned engineer mr vijay patil sir they are call and solve issue in one day thanks for mr vijay sir and cars 24 team 🙏

I am very much satisfied by the service provided by service engineer Mr SUDIP SMITH . He is really taking care of every notch or problem and had given a proper solutions. I hope that kind of service engineer should be employed by every employer.

I am very much satisfied with the disgonysis by Mr Sudip Smith Paul. But I don't want to go for any repair work. So I am decided to return this car.

For selling my car, CARS24 customer care person informed me that I need to pay an amount of Rs.1298/- which will attract more buyers and car can be sold at a good price quickly. Further he informed that if the car is not sold in one month time, the amount will be refunded to me.

Accordingly, I paid an amount of Rs.1298/- on 10.10.2025.
After that, daily I started observing offers (which is around 3,80,000/-) being put in the CARS24 app. But none of probable buyer visited or contacted me. I received a total of 41 offers, of which all are +/- ₹3,80,000/-.

After waiting for more than a month, in the app I observed that to unlock verified buyer details, I need to pay additional Rs.49/-. Accordingly, I paid Rs.49/- on 11.11.2025.

Within few minutes one person called and next day two youngsters (around 20 years) came as if, they came for inspection. They told that they are ready buy for Rs.3.4 lakhs only and left.
Next day when I called them and told that I ready for their price, then he informed that he can offer only 2.4 lakhs, which I was not interested.

When I raised my grievance through email
, they responded that
" since offers have already started coming in for the vehicle, I am not eligible for a refund."

Advice:
Never pay any amount to cars24 for selling or in the name of getting more value / customers.

The entire scheme is to attract customers and persuade them to pay money at different stages.
Then put fake offers & fool the customers.

This is a worst form of doing business.

Sudip pal was good in helping with the problems and resolved it very soon and friendly. Most recommended part of cars24. Post sales service is good. All can be done via app simple and clean.

I purchased a Hyundai i10 Sportz from CARS24, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

1. Wrong Information About Road Tax
At the time of purchase, I was clearly told that the car’s road tax was valid until 2031. However, after checking the official records myself, I found that the tax actually expires in 2026. This is a serious case of misinformation and misguidance.

2. Unnecessary Insurance Charges
The car already had both first-party and third-party insurance active, with a remaining validity of around 8–9 months. Despite this, CARS24 charged me additional money for issuing new insurance.
When I questioned this and asked for a refund, they initially denied responsibility. I had to struggle a lot and finally collected the insurance documents directly from Tata AIG to prove my claim. Only after I clearly stated that I would take legal action, they refunded the extra insurance amount. This entire process was stressful and unacceptable.

3. Misleading Extended Warranty (Pure Scam)
I was strongly convinced to purchase an additional 3-year extended warranty. When I asked for the PDF, terms & conditions, and coverage details before buying, they were unable to provide it. Instead, they gave me a small booklet with no proper terms, conditions, or exclusions mentioned, and I was pressured into buying the warranty.

After the purchase, when I finally received the full PDF, I was shocked to see that most major parts were excluded. The warranty was practically useless and nowhere near what was promised verbally. When I contacted customer care requesting a refund after reviewing the actual terms, they flatly refused.

Conclusion
This entire experience felt misleading, unethical, and unprofessional. From wrong information to unnecessary charges and a misleading warranty, I faced multiple issues that cost me time, money, and mental stress.

⚠️ Please be very careful before purchasing a car from CARS24. Always verify documents yourself and do not rely on verbal promises. If you value your hard-earned money, think twice.

Very disappointing experience with Cars24

After the inspection, Cars24 listed my car online without my consent or approval, and at the lowest possible price. This appears to be how they maximize their own profit.

Once a car is publicly listed at such a low price, its market value is effectively destroyed. Selling the car later through another dealer at a fair price becomes almost impossible.

Cars24 acted unilaterally and clearly against the customer’s interests. This behavior is completely unacceptable to me.

My strong advice: Never let Cars24 inspect your car if you want to keep control over pricing and the sales process.

Cars24 is totally unreliable and fraudulent company. I had booked a Nexon car on 4th November 2025 at their Tathawade, Pune office by paying advance of Rs. 25000/-. For next two days they failed to provide copy of documents like RC & insurance. There were inconsistencies in the details shared by their team and what was available at Vahan portal. It is unfortunate that a reputed organization like Cars24 is hiding facts about a vehicle from a prospective buyer. They did not allow an undercarriage inspection. Due to uncertainty about any accident history of the vehicle, I cancelled my booking.

The unscrupulous Cars 24 team deducted Rs. 3000/- as charges for no fault from my end. I pursued the matter with their CC team. Unfortunately after follow up for a month they refused to refund the money.

Later on I read about many such bad experiences others had with Cars24. Please be careful when dealing with such unreliable and unprofessional company.

I have some issue in my car regarding steering and accessories lights, Mr Sudip Smith Paul have inspected and solve my issue within few minutes. Excellent knowledge and super attitude. Thanks to Cars 24.
