If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. I’ve spent a small fortune on Cartier products over the years but although they are OK (but not incredible), the service is beyond bad. A snobby/snooty experience where there are no staff to help. Typically 25 to 30 minutes of time to be served. There is no sense of customer service. My time is not important to them. My piece of jewellery (that I wanted to exchange for a larger size) was not available in Mall of the Emirates, so I was asked to go to Dubai Mall to collect the item - and get this - I was advised to check the item for damage as it was the only one left. All this for a piece of Jewellery for $8,000.
So I’m left thinking that these people don’t care about me. They don’t value my time because they keep me waiting and then they suggest that their own products should be checked for damage!
I’m not a retail genius but I would make sure that my customers don’t have to wait for service and then offer to bring the piece of jewellery from the other store so I can try it (bearing in mind that I have already bought and paid for it).
Anyway, Cartier service is terrible and I won’t be buying their overpriced stuff any more. Rubbish all round.

Cartier would not accept my return but I won in the end
Wouldn’t bother saving your money to buy yourself a nice Cartier ring. I saved for ages to buy myself my first Love ring and Juste un Clou. I ordered a couple of sizes as I wasn’t sure what size I was and when I kept two of the rings and returned the rest all with all the existing packaging, never worn and the red tab still on they tried to say I damaged the item and wouldn’t accept a refund. I escalated this to a senior ambassador and they claimed the tiny scratches the returns people found were what I had done to the rings.
If you are in this situation and they won’t give you a refund, create a credit or debit card dispute with your bank as I am happy to say that the bank gave me my money back and I won my claim.
I had a deeply disappointing experience…
I had a deeply disappointing experience at Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall due to the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of a staff member named Nargiza at one of the jewelry stores.
When I kindly asked if I could purchase a new, unworn version of a bracelet rather than the display model, Nargiza responded in a rude and dismissive tone. She abruptly told me that it was absolutely not possible, adding, “This is not a fashion store,” and implied that if I had purchased jewelry before, I would already know this. Her response was not only unhelpful, but also unnecessarily condescending.
There was no attempt to understand my request, no empathy, and no sense of customer care. I left feeling completely disrespected and unwelcome—something I would never expect in a luxury retail environment.
This kind of attitude is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand and the service standards expected at such a prestigious location. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, as no customer should be treated in this way.

Our experience purchasing Cartier rings…
Our experience purchasing Cartier rings at Dubai Mall happened about five years ago, but I decided to write about it now because I noticed the store has an undeservedly low rating here.
We had a wonderful experience — the rings are absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent.
The only downside was the long queues due to the COVID period, but overall, we are extremely happy with our experience.

Trinity diamond ring
I left a review on February 24th 2025. In response to that review I can only say what a truly outstanding professional company and in particular their loyal long serving staff member Rafael. They and he definitely put things right. After an ongoing occurring fault with my stunning trinity diamond ring, not only did they seek to resolve this situation they actually in the end replaced the ring even though I had owned it for many years. A huge thank you to Cartier and Rafael for making this right!

It was nice looking at the watches but they were very cold and unfriendly… followed me and my friends around like I was going to steal something :/ tried to compliment this guys choice on purchasing a two tone santos.. I said “great choice man! Thats arguably the nicest santos colourway :)” dude gave me the nastiest side eye I’ve ever received… kept getting stared down by the employees with cold faces.. did not leave me feeling good after walking through… made me feel very un welcome which is such a shame because I’m in love with their watches and I was actually going to purchase a belt today but after that experience I felt as they didn't deserve my business… went to Hermès after and I received the complete and total opposite in every single way… so friendly so kind so open made me feel very loved and welcomed and respected… they even gave us Fiji water on this gorgeous mahogany platter… was absolutely shocked by the service at cartier honestly… never been happier with my purchase at Hermès.. I will be shopping online next time for my next watch purchase through Cartier… overall very disappointed and shocked quite frankly :((((
Because I forgot an umbrella today and my hair was a little wet they decided to try and treat me like a second class citizen… it was very evident the superiority complex of the workers… was rushed out if the store after being followed around and looked at like I was going to steal something just because my hair was a little wet from the rain as I forgot an umbrella 💀 they should seriously be ashamed of themselves and fire the entirety of their staff.. this is exactly how you lose customers and business and today thats certainly what happened. Don’t ever come here unless you want to be belittled and made to feel unwelcome.. it’s a shame because they are my favourite watch brand and I own many pieces by them.. but I will be conducting my business online from now on… even the security guard was staring me down the entire time… nobody wanted to help me when I asked questions as they took one look at me with my slightly damp hair because I was caught in the rain and it wasn’t supposed to rain today.. and saw I was young and immediately assumed that I am not worthy of their business or that I’m poor and don't belong in there
I’ve had better service at Value Village. That’s not an exaggeration—it’s the truth. I’ve never been made to feel so judged and unworthy by any brand in my life, and the fact that it came from Cartier—my favourite watchmaker—makes it cut even deeper.

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would! I ordered a ring on the 21st March which allegedly had a delivery lead time of 1-2 days, up to a maximum of 5days. This ring is for a very special occasion on the 7th April. By the 26th I had not received any notification of dispatch and so rang the Customer Service number. I was informed that there was an extended lead time for this product due to limited availability, but that I would absolutely receive a dispatch email by the 31st latest & that delivery would be made by the 4th, in time for my deadline. I was also assured that the Customer Service representative would personally keep a close eye on the order. I rang again yesterday (on the 31st) and spoke to a different person and was told that they could not find any information about the order and would ring me back today. Still no response and more importantly no dispatch email. I fear that I will not be receiving the ring in time for the big occasion next Monday and seriously wish that I had ordered from a more reliable company, which is ridiculous when you consider that this is Cartier! I am beyond disappointed and extremely upset that this situation is going to compromise what should have been a very poignant and special occasion. Cartier, do NOT make delivery promises that you cannot fulfill and do NOT follow this up with verbal promises without substance or value! I will never shop on the Cartier website again.

12 months to resize a solitaire diamond ring
I took my Cartier solitaire engagement ring to Cartier Sydney 9 months ago for resizing and still don't have have it back. Communication until the past month has been terrible and after me pushing for a timeframe they have just advise it will be back in 3 month's time. That will mean it took them 12 MONTHS!!! to resize a ring with one stone. We have bought so much from Cartier and this is a real lesson - after sales service is abysmal.
I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with Cartier’s handling of my order. My birthday gift was never delivered, and the proof of delivery does not have my signature. After 12 days of investigation, Cartier simply told me there is nothing they can do—meaning I am expected to bear the cost of a lost package. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and excellence, this is unacceptable. A true luxury house should stand by its customers, but Cartier has failed to do so. Buyers, beware.

Unwelcoming and Insulting
Unwelcoming and Insulting - Avoid Cartier Stanford
Cartier Stanford Shopping Center delivers an experience far removed from luxury. From being stopped at the door by security to being blatantly ignored by staff, my visits were nothing short of humiliating. My husband's Valentine's Day purchase turned into a nightmare when I attempted a simple ring exchange. I was treated with suspicion, left standing alone, and offered no apology.
Subsequent visits reinforced their disregard. My husband was welcomed, a friend with us was fawned over, while I, the paying customer, was treated as an afterthought. Plastic water bottles, dismissive attitudes, and patronizing "explanations" replaced any semblance of quality service.
This isn't about demanding special treatment; it's about basic respect. At Cartier Stanford, they clearly have a very specific clientele in mind, and if you don’t fit their mold, expect to be treated as an inconvenience. I'm a well-respected professional who expects a level of service commensurate with the price point. Save your money and your dignity – shop elsewhere where your business is valued.

It's a good product.
Awful customer service
I am shocked with how awful the customer service is for Cartier. The first bracelet I received bent a bit where the screw tightens when my husband and I first put it on. There was absolutely no recourse to exchange/repair etc. Years later, I made the mistake of purchasing something else--a $1300 ring. I have been trying to exchange it for a different size and they make things sooo difficult. They processed the return but never sent a label. Their attention to detail with customer service is horrendous, especially given how pricey the jewelry is. I will purchase from Von Clef from now on.

the worst experience ever
the worst experience ever. my future husband and I decided to buy the wedding rings at Cartier. We don’t have the shop in our country, however my husband work for the company from Germany and travels often to Frankfurt so we decided that is most suitable to order there. after we paid for the two wedding rings and one bracelet additional as the surprise from my husband, they let us known once when it came to the shop. however my husband travels a lot due to business and nobody told us that if you don’t pick up the order within one month they have to send it back to Switzerland. Nobody wrote to us (they had our emails and phone numbers and the order was paid) and when my future husband finally reached the store they let him known that they sent it back to Switzerland three days ago. however, we asked if I could pick it up in Vienna and once they confirmed the pick up date we bought the airplane ticket. I rescheduled all my agenda because of it and should fly on Wendsday but today they sent us the notice that due to some issues they could delivered on 01st April (for 20 days) and my wedding is for two weeks. I’m really disappointed and will never buy again from them. they ruined something that should be the best day in our lives and I gonna get married with the ring from kinder surprise instead of luxury jewelry. My husband and I are spending a lot of money on the luxury brands but this is the first time that we have such a painful experience and non professional treatment. Will never buy again from Cartier!

Disappointing
Disappointing! My husband purchased a diamond bangle for my birthday (22/12) & as a thank you for taking care of him over the past 5 years of on/off cancer treatment. On 30/12 we went to the New Bond Street store to change the size. My husband called before to make an appointment & was told no appointment required & they were open till 6pm. We arrived just before 5.30pm & were very rudely dismissed and told we were unlikely to get served as they had customers in the store and had to close at 6pm. We explained our prior phone call when this could have been communicated. There were no other customers waiting and at least 6 people left the store while we were talking to the manager outside but she was still dismissive and rude. Through persistence and in an unfriendly manner, we were told to come in to exchange the bangle which took all of 10 minutes. The inspection of my original bangle was done in a very arrogant manner. I had been excited to have a Cartier (luxury) experience but sadly far from it. I have received much better customer service at Next buying boots costing less than 0.5% of the Cartier bangle.Good customer service costs nothing and with Cartier prices it should be amazing not awful.

I purchased a Calibre de Cartier watch…
I purchased a Calibre de Cartier watch about 11 years ago. Twice now the watch has stopped working even though it’s barely worn. Most of the time it sits in its watch winder box so it’s not being beat up or misused at all. The problem here is that, if your watch breaks, you’re required to send it to them to diagnose the issue. They will not sell parts to anyone who’s not an authorized retailer and the ones that are will just tell you they have to send it to Cartier. Both times the watch was sent in they want $900 for a repair and if you decline it they just send you back your broken watch and say best of luck. It’s either a scam to get more money out of you or the watch has really broken for the 2nd time in 10 years. I paid 7k for this watch and already have spent about 2k on repairs since owning it. This watch is a piece of shit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying Cartier watches at all as they are just high priced junk. Buy a Rolex or Brietling instead, I’ve owned those watches longer and have never had a problem with either one. Cartier watches = junk
Cartier Madrid no tax refund due to form error
I am writing to complain about a serious issue with Cartier Madrid store that has caused me significant financial loss and frustration. I was unable to receive my €1800 tax refund because the Tax Free form issued by your store was found to be incorrect by the Spanish Customs Authority.
The customs officer informed me that, for a credit card refund, the form must be flawless, and he advised that one should always request a cash refund. Since I requested a credit card refund, it appears that an error on Cartier part resulted in the form’s rejection.
Over the past few months, I have attempted to resolve this matter with Spanish Customs. However, I have been consistently told that the error originates from the retailer. This situation is unacceptable.

Nothing in Stock
Pretty much in line with most of the comments here about Cartier. Absolute waste of time. I asked for 6 different pairs of sunglasses, everyone out of production i am told. So why the hell are they still advertising them on their website? Can they not afford to keep their site up to date? Utter useless!

SHAME ON YOU CARTIER!!!
SHAME ON YOU CARTIER!!!
SHAME ON YOU CARTIER!!!
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
I received my Cartier love ring in November after using their printable online sizing tool, which is NOT accurate. To my horror the ring arriving two sizes too small.
I contacted them straightaway and was told I could return it for an exchange. Unfortunately due to my husband suffering a cardiac arrest and coma for 10 days it meant I never returned the ring for 2 weeks.
CARTIERS REPLY
Why has it taken so long to return? The ring must have been worn as its all scratched.
MY REPLY
The ring had NOT been worn as its two sizing too small and would not even go over my knuckle. I even sent photo evidence. I wasn't asking for a refund just a simple exchange for a ring that was too small due to their online ring sizing chart being inaccurate.
CARTIER 100% LACK OF EMPATHY
Based on my experience, I will be taking this matter further with UK consumer rights and spread the news about my awful ordeal.
Never did I think Cartier were capable of such poor customer service, unnecessary delays ( 3 months & I'm still without a ring) and the need for multiple Cartier ambassadors to resolve a single issue is a joke.
Review from a very very unhappy customer, Karen Millward.
Oh and CARTIER do not give me a reply followed by, we are sorry for your experience because lets face it YOU'RE NOT! And you can forget your kind regards as their nothing kind about your company. You fail to even add your name at the end of your bad reviews which seem to be an awful lot, I wonder why?
NEVER AGAIN!!!
