Never answer the phone and or emails

Never answer the phone and or emails. Ive borrowed from them twice and they do the whole process via text so its quick and easy then they email my contract. I have applied for a loan again as im having an emergency. Its been 8 days. Ive called several time and emailed.
Not one response back.
I even filled out an application, no response. I dont know what going on with them but its very strange. Customers rely on you and its not right your phone lines arent working and your not following up with people.

Completely HOPELESS!!!

I was called about three weeks ago and told I owed about $25 in fees, which made no sense so I requested a supervisor and was told they needed to call me back. That has not happened.

Then, they took my loan payment out three days early this month, causing me to borrow from another lender and incur another borrowing fee I should not have had to make/take.

Calls always go to voicemail. Somehow, it does not matter when you call in; they are ALWAYS serving other clients and can't be bothered with you unless you owe them $$$$, then they are up your backside sniffing every nook and cranny.

Oh, you say you left a message with through the online contact form. Hahaha, you may as well be writing to Santa Claus for all the good that will do you. They simply do not respond, PERIOD!!!!

Now I am online to try and borrow again, and the useless system can not even connect with the bank.

HEY CASHCO, there are other lenders out there, they are doing it better, more professionally, and can serve their customers' needs.

Clearly, I need to start borrowing from them and leave Cashco in the dust after years of being their client. Bye, Bye, Bye!!!

Cashco

Cashco, when it had actually stores you could go into, "was" great! Now, you can't get any response online or the phone. NO call back! Very poor service! I use to tell everyone go to cashco, now I tell them go elsewhere! Bet I would hear from them PDQ if my payment didn't go through!

Your reply is unacceptable! It has been over a month, still no call back. PEOPLE USE LENDDIRECT! WOW, fantastic customer service, get your loan in minutes! YOU also control your account, no having to go through lengthy processing through a rep!

UPDATE: Just like I said, the cashco system went down and I had to make 2 payments, haven't been able to get in touch with cashco for months! As soon as they needed payment my phone was ringing with derogatory comments that my Loan was in arrears WHAT THE???? Then, it gets better, I finally got through today only to be told they no longer add to flex loans, only do payday loans! Go somewhere else people, lots of payday loan companies in Edmonton. DONT GO TO CASHCO!

Being called and asked to pay NSF fees…

Being called and asked to pay NSF fees that I haven't incurred, and by a guy that has no record of my payments or current contract. He hung-up when I requested a Manager. No Locations open. No phone lines or Emails are responded to. Horrible and concerning service.

I paid my loan off early

I paid my loan off early (October 1st 2025). I expected to make a loan when I needed it but every number I call to make a new loan gives me the same automated response “all our loan specialists are busy with other customers please leave a voicemail”. I been trying to call for 3 weeks and no call back or email. All locations shut down and my online account won’t even approve me. I’m beyond frustrated with this company. Given no answers or information, in my opinion is very unprofessional.

No more PayDay Loans for Ontarians

Apparently after being with this company for years on and off, they have decided to no longer process pay day loans to anyone living in Ontario.
No notification, no communication. Plus almost impossible to talk to a human on the phone.
I used to pay by going into the store. Then they went to online, so they withdrew half my owing amount automatically. I would pay the remaining through email transfer and then call to reborrow.
This month, my money wasnt withdrawn on a day that the store would normally take it. By the time that happened 3 days later, the call center was closed. So I transfered my remaining owing amount thinking I could call in the morning and get my reborrowing started so I could pay bills.
I called 4 different numbers almost non stop for 6 hours. Left 1 message and sent one email. I finally got through and after giving my name and phone number, that they no longer loan to anyone living in Ontario. I am furious! Had I been informed that I could no longer reborrow, I would not have paid the remaining amount until it was due next month and clear up the loan entirely. This company has gone down hill and I suggest avoiding it at all cost!

Cashco is breaking laws under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act and Pay Day Loan Act.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism this company is doing. I'm currently a loan holder... I have reborrowed many times, I normally speak with my assigned agent since the first time I took out a loan. With my loan due date coming up I decided to message her on options for this month of reborrowing when I got an out of office message...she gone till December 15th, I was shocked that no one gave an update or assigned me to someone else. I called every cashco number possible including head office in Edmonton (number out of service when you call) I've emailed them on every email and left voicemails for days. It's one thing not to accept new people but your existing customers with loans... Ridiculous.... You guys aren't caring for me so I will not be caring for you. You can contact me by email if you'd like to discuss my account. You cannot do existing customers like this, literally it's unlawful what you guys are doing, incompetent management and not handling people's accounts probably. I'd give this company a -100 stars if I could. Prior to this though, the last 4 months was fast a reliable but to just go dead silent on customers is unacceptable. Anyways, until I here back from a supervisor...not a chat bot, they aren't my problem just like I'm not theirs ! You guys are breaking multiple rules against the Consumer Protection Act, that you guys are under... Everything from no notice of offices closing and YOU MUST STAY REACHABLE TO HANDLE PAYMENTS , COLLECTS, AND DISPUTES. It’s a breach of fair-business standards under Ontario consumer law. If the company continues to auto-withdraw payments after services have stopped or after a loan was “paid off,” that could be considered:
Unauthorized withdrawal (a violation of the federal Code of Conduct for the Credit and Debit Card Industry and CPA s.93)and
Unfair practice (CPA s.17–18). Very stupid to handle a company like this... I have every screenshot every email, my call log, I messaged on Instagram and their Facebook they turned off their messaging and turned off comments on their Facebook. I'll will be filing a report with consumer protection Ontario (1-800-889-9768) I advise anyone who has had a loan taken out without being able to reach them and not reborrow or have a loan coming up to be taken out to do so. Extremely disappointed that it could get to this level of weeks from multiple EXISTING customers to not here from ANYONE. I'll also be filing with the FSRA

I would suggest not getting a loan from…

I would suggest not getting a loan from this company. I paid off my loan 5 months ago, about a month ago they have told me I still owe over $300. I have requested twice that give me the details of how I still owe this, they have not given it to me. Now they have taken a $374 payment out of my account.

Definitely done with Cashco

Definitely done with Cashco. I feel discriminated and disrespected by them. I have been a long term customer, over two years. I am disabled and I would use them between disability checks. I’ve always paid back on time, I’ve even paid off loans very early and then I give them my business again by re-borrowing. Their website says you’ll hear back WITHIN 72 hours. It has been twelve days and not so much as a call or email back. I have used the messaging service on their site, emailed and left voice messages. I fully believe this is because I am disabled and my income is disability and I’m only looking for a payday loan and not a big loan where they can charge me a ridiculous and excess amount of interest for little money. The girls who worked here were lovely and kind. Shame on you for turning into a business that not only discriminates against the disabled but also gets rid of the human beings working there just to save yourselves some money. I predict you’ll no longer exist in 6 months to one year if this is how you believe in treating customers. I will be reporting you to the BBB and filing a human rights complaint that your business now denies people service because of disabilities. Shame on you.

Disappointing change, Its been 2 weeks for me now and still nothing,

What a disappointing turn of events. This company was a fantastic emergency cash for myself but recent changes has made me use one their competetors with much happiness. Quick and easy loans. No credit check required is no more. Now expect to wait and wait as the 72hrs closes in and passes. DON'T BOTHER with this company even if you're a long term customer, they DON'T CARE about your needs.

I used these guys for loans over the…

I used these guys for loans over the summer and paid my last one off, which was perfect timing. The rep I dealt with was amazing and it seems like she is no longer there, which is impacting service.

As for their digital transformation, I work in software development, AI and tech in general and it is a poorly planned implementation. It doesn't even seem like their business rules align with the technology they are implementing. Not my project but I've seen companies fail by not planning properly.

I have been a client of cashco for a few years. This last time I was trying to get a loan I was denied due to some search changes??? I wait a week only to find out she doesn't work there anymore. She passed it off to someone else and I never heard thing. I have called emailed for days, nothing, all you get when you call is all our operators are currently busy and leave a message, then it says when you email please wait 72 hours due to high volume of calls, it's been way past 72 hours still nothing.

From best to absolute WORST

Cashco used to be the very best at what they did. Since changes to operations they have become the absolute worst, If I could I would rate at negative 10 stars. I can definitely see this business going under in less than a year.
I will be searching out a new short term loan business.
