This is set up to scam you from the very beginning. Being operated from a run-down industrial unit in Salford, their flashy website promises the best prices paid, no hassle, immediate money transfer, but don’t be fooled.
Once they have your phone or device, you will be contacted to advise your device doesn’t match how you valued it, and they will make you a derisory offer instead. If you want your device back, be warned, this will cost you £20.
Then they will delay sending your device back and ignore your emails.
Only after reporting Cash For Phones to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) did they then complete the transaction at a reasonable value.
Be warned! Dealing with this company is not what their website promises. All the negative reviews you will read are accurate.

These guys are total scammers. After being offered £405 for my Ipad Pro i sent it to them. I sent it in immacculate condition. Received an update saying there is minor scrathces on bezel which there is not. The counter offer was £200. They halfed the offer over claimed scratches that i know did not exist. Now i need to pay £20 for a return

I sent my immaculate IMAC computer to them as the price offered was a fair price. Within 2 hours of receipt they had tested it with a high definition game apparently!, and the graphics card overheated, utter utter rubbish. After refusing the lower price they offered me a better price but I refused and paid the £20 return fee. I have no proof of postage or tracking information and they will not answer my emails and no phone number is available. Do not use this Company it is a complete scam. I wish I had checked them out before sending my goods.

I would not sell a thing to this lot.I sent them a tablet in perfect working order and my price promise was reduced from £30 to £18 with no evidence of the fault they said existed. The also wanted £20 to return the item, Stay away and accept a lower valuation from people with a good review.

Please don’t use these SCAMMERS!!!
They offered me £80 for my iPhone and said they would only give me £25 for it because the screens faulty, there is nothing v wrong with my screen. Also asking for £20 if I wanted it sent back! Also no phone number on there site to call them! I wonder why!!!

I will never use this company again, they claim above market rate offers for mobiles only to downgrade their offer once they recieve the phone. Once you reject their offer they then come back with a slightly improved price for the handset. I refused both only to be then told it would cost £20 for them to return it to me when it cost me just over £8.00 to send via registered post. Its all a scam, customer service is terrible, stick to the better known companies in the market as at least they provide a fair service.

Out of principle I did not sell me phone to this company and despite it costing me £28 for the terrible experience of dealing with them, I will give the handset to family member rather than allow this company to make any further money out of me.

Hi I’ve decided to sell my iPhone to cash for phone as i did not want people coming to my house to view because of the situation the country is in so the offer was ok but i believed my phone was better than good but no to my surprise i received a reply saying the speaker crackled when volume was on high as I’ve never had the volume high and i never heard it crackle i cannot say if what they say is true but the offer was reduced I would have rejected the offer but they wanted £20 to return my iPhone which was very excessive so because of my experience i will not and wouldn’t recommend cash for phones

Best pickup and instant payment n good aap to sell old phones

I received a price over the internet for my I phone 5 16, about 250.00. This phone did not have a scrape on it, on a 1-10 scale it was an 8 worst case. They then offered me 37.00 for it via e mail, I emailed right away demanding my phone back. If you read the fine print you have to call them within three days, the e mails were not good enough demanding my phone back. I tried to call, could not get anyone on the phone, they were experiencing high phone volume, after 5 minutes you get disconnected. I finally got a live person on the phone, out of luck they said, technicians said the phone was all scratched up, I didn't call within three days, every excuse possible. Just a total scam, do not use these people, they will rip you off.

I sent my iPhone 5 to this company and have heard nothing. If cashforphones is reading this, My order number is 67052. I'm a corporate customer and have confirmation my old phone was received by their company in FL. I was concerned about their customer service and called their number. Their 'voicemail' is apparently full and cannot accept messages. I would highly advise not using this company. I've read several negative reviews regarding issues with their efficiency and feel like they don't have concern for their customers.

This is not a real company. Though the website looks legit, it is not. I sent in my Samsung Galaxy S3 to them in February 2014. It is now May and I still haven't received my payment. I continually called and emailed them for answers about the status of my payment and why it was taking them so long. The number they provide on their website is a fake and my emails were never answered. I would steer far away as possible from this site. Whoever is in charge of this website is only money hungry and is stealing devices from people to most likely make a profit of their own. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
