As previously explained, these suites are manufactured to a standardised manufacturing process, following a precise template to ensure uniformity across all units produced.
As there is no manufacturer fault with your suite, we are unable to take this matter any further or offer any additional assistance.

That's us then, with no option to buy a new lounge suite and blunt denial or empathy from the company, we have to figure out a way to resolve this painful issue ourselves.

Update: Although I stick to the 5 star review for the experience of my first visit to the showroom and the delivery, I have to change my review.

Castle Davitt Furniture did deliver a lovely suite to me. The only issue we have is that it is very firm. Nothing like the comfort level of the showroom one. They sent a technician out who confirmed that this is exactly how the Bentley is, so it is not the delivered suite that is at fault, but the showroom one which gives you false presentation/advertisement for it's comfort. We have made it clear that the delivered suite is not faulty, but the fault lies with the showroom one giving you the wrong comfort level. Due to health reasons, we can't sit on a firm surface without pain. I had spent months looking for the right comfort level and definitely wouldn't have bought this lounge suite if I had known it would not be the same comfort level as the showroom one.
It's been a nightmare, with them coming back saying exactly what we are saying, that the delivered suite is not at fault. But do not take responsibility that the showroom one is. We are at the moment waiting to hear back from Castle Davitt Furniture Castlebar and hope it can be solved soon, as we can't relax in the lounge, due to getting no relief on that hard surface.
I have been back many times, the first time to make sure I was not mistaken about the comfort level and after that to seek a solution. I also have affidavits from 4 other people who had tested the showroom one and visited me at home. All agree with the outcome – except for Castle Davitt Furniture, who refuse to acknowledge the fact that the showroom Bentley does not depict the correct comfort level.

I bought a new suite of furniture, rug and a new clock from Castle Davitt Furniture for my house. We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the couches and rug. The clock is stunning too and takes pride of place in our kitchen. We had EXCELLENT customer service and the delivery drivers were very polite and made sure our items were working and we were happy with everything before they left. The staff in the new Galway Store in Briarhill were a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again.

Bought a sofa set and wardrobe from castle davitt sligo. The staff were all so helpful especially lee who went through all the sofa options with us to make sure we made the right choice. There was a slight mishap with delivery which Lee sorted out promptly and our furniture was delivered the same day, Delivery guys were also very pleasant to deal with. Will continue to shop at castle daviit in the furniture 😀

Customer service

Do not buy classic pocket mattress from Castle Davitt. We purchased a double and king size mattress and on both the springs went and hollowed out after a few uses. We never had a problem with any other mattresses before, only this brand.

All 3 items delivered to me had a problem, although the staff seem very nice, there wasn't much help or apologies coming my way - after waiting 8 weeks for a replacement sideboard, I was then told it was due to arrive in Ireland in 2 weeks time, I cut my losses, I received a small amount of compensation for the damage and am holding onto it - I was very disappointed in the way the whole thing was handled.
