I made my purchase on 29/03 and at that time delivery was within 7 days and I had not heard anything back from them about the delivery. I decided to check the reviews again and noticed all the negative ones. I contacted PayPal and created a dispute. Got an email from a Josh and he explained due to the pandemic he cannot say when delivery will be. I did some digging into the company; I work for a finance company so I know how to dig further than most. I can safely say this is company has some very well known sister companies e.g. Bidfood. I received my order a few days after a refund was issued for the things that did not come. It is not a scam company as I called them in my dispute. I think they are sincerely doing their best to get orders out in this unprecedented time. Have patience and what doesn’t arrive you will get your money back. I have already made another order.

Very happy with this purchase! Placed my order at end of March and received yesterday under conditions of covid-19 restrictions. Got my items safely packed and everything in the boxes including the receipt. The prices are really great compared with others stores / sellers taking advantage of the situation now and selling overpriced. I'm so happy I found this store and I will definitely buy again. I recommend. Excellent!

Placed an order on 27th March, received in full on 7th April. Very happy with my purchase. Price was reasonable and produce was good quality. Delivery was slightly delayed and after reading the previous reviews on here I was worried but need not have been, it is completely understandable at this time.

Really happy with the products received from this company. All arrived in 6 working days of ordering in good condition with long use by dates. Received an automatic refund for the product that had gone out of stock. Would definitely use this company again and would recommend them - they are doing a good job especially in the current circumstances.

Placed an order on 18th March, when the company was still advertising next day delivery. Still not received my order or refund. I have emailed the company 3 times since then with no response. I had no choice but to contact my bank for chargeback. Be warned!

The delay was slightly longer than I’d expected but my order did arrive. I had one item missing but this was refunded. With everyone shopping online I can only imagine how many orders they are having to get through and I’m sure they are all working tirelessly to keep us all fed. Keep it up key workers, well done!

I just received (most of) my order after about 10 days so hopefully I can provide a fair judgement.
Out of an order of 8 items I got 6 of these and they were well packed with a long date. I contacted the support team after 7 days for an update and got a polite and apologetic reply although they weren't able to provide a delivery date which was fair enough considering the circumstances. The staff I interacted with were as helpful as they could be, it seems like they've been let down by poor stock levels and a lack of order and delivery tracking. I'm now waiting to see whether I'm refunded for the missing items or they're delivered at a later date and will update the review accordingly. If you're just replacing what you couldn't get at the supermarket and can make do for a couple of weeks then they're worth a try but I wouldn't depend on them for urgent supplies as it's hard to say what you'll get and when.

I would give zero if I could! Charged for full order even though less than half arrived and missing on the invoice (meaning the rest is not coming)! No communication to tell you this! Order took longer than expected (even with the additional time during the COVID-19 outbreak). Embarrassingly told others about the company for them to all have the same bad experience! Charged £10 for delivery without my consent (they added this on after the took the items from the invoice without informing me). No phone number to contact. Terrible!

Same as others on here, waited nearly 2 weeks for my order, 1 item arrived and they refunded me for the items that didn't arrive with no word to tell me they were cancelling! So i've had to pay £10 shipping for 1 item!!! I would have just cancelled the entire order had they told me.
Updated to say after complaining they have refunded my delivery costs.

This is not a reliable company. I have waited 2 weeks for my order (flour) to be dispatched. After 2 weeks, I received a refund notice from Paypal with no communication from C2U whatsoever. When I asked C2U what happened, they said the product is not in stock anymore. I asked if I could replace it with a different product. They said I could order again, but I will go back to the end of the queue, i.e. wait 2 more weeks, and there is no guarantee that the product will be available then. To their credit, they refunded my money in full, therefore the 1 star.
Regarding the response from Catering2You below: So are you saying that if I order something from you now, it will be delivered? Or not?

Terrible Avoid COVID COWBOYS Hardly anything actually in stock - probably run from a bedroom and laptop Took money for large order - took weeks then received 1 item as everything on the website I ordered was out of stock i.e pasta toilet rolls etc etc although they charged me £10.00 to deliver something that I could have bought in the shops. It Is proper practice to communicate with your customer if items that they have ordered are out of stock not take weeks and deliver 1 item and charge £10.00 for delivery !!! Never replied to any emails theres no telephone number on the websites - but for anyone else who is ripped off they also operate as Number One Carpet Cleaners the telephone number is used on the Catering2u invoice 0330-0947898 there is a voice message.
Please do not order anything from this company !!! Beware !!! How could someone behave like this when the country should be pulling together not ripping people off preying on the vulnerable who are looking to buy food for elderly friend relatives as I was.
I was a bit concerned about my order but this company do deliver the goods that they have been able to source . The situation is unprecedented and they are doing their best . I received my order after 9 days and the missing goods were refunded two days later so they are honouring the orders but must be overwhelmed with orders. Please trust and all will come good . I am just grateful for any of the order to come .

Waiting for news on my order 2 weeks later and no replies to any emails. No excuses and im now having to report to my bank to claim the money back. I spent a lot of money too. With everything thats going on COVID-19 you would expect places to help customers as much as they can, not use the situation to profit to gain for themselves whilst we all wait weeks for a refund. Great service :-(

Despite receiving several emails confirming my order would be delivered in full, only a couple of items arrived out of the large order placed. I am still awaiting a refund three weeks after ordering (the 24 hour delivery I paid for took two weeks). Cancelling the orders would have been better than outright lying.

I had a very good experience. Although items were missing, I received an immediate refund and would order again. I had wanted to tip the delivery man but after he brought the heavy boxes into the hallway, he left before I had a chance to stop him. When I got in touch to ask if there was any way I could forward something, I immediately received a very nice email from Josh suggesting I make a contribution to a local community organisation.

Made two separate orders, one with PayPal and one with debit card.
Understand that COVID is messing with the ability to provide fast delivery and communication so happy to wait. Waited a while past delivery date with no information so sent an email. Didn’t receive a reply but received a refund notification from PayPal.
Spent the next two weeks trying to chase up a refund for the other order and received no reply until I mentioned going to my bank to instigate a chargeback. Received a rude e-mail to confirm they’d given a refund but currently still waiting for the money back. Still open to contacting my bank should I not receive it.
Went back on their website and horrified to see they’re still taking orders when they clearly have no intention of dispatching things to customers.
COVID is bad for us all but spare a thought for those buying from you in good faith.
Awful company that I’d never use again and tell all to stay away from.

Absolutely abysmal service. Not even man enough to give out a contact number on their website, I finally received my order and received a few small items, they missed out 24 kilos of pasta and a huge bag of bread mix. Disgusted at their lack of customer skills. Want my money back for the items I never received
