I was looking for a mother of the bride dress and booked a 1 and 1/2 hour slot (visiting is appointment only. There is a £25 fee to hold your appointment which is refunded on the day). I am a small size but there was a good selection of beautiful dresses in many different styles and Catherine’s offers an alterations service. Of the dresses that I tried, prices started at around £300 plus and some were considerably more expensive.
I was assisted by Ailsa who was friendly, knowledgable and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. I did find a dress that I liked and I would recommend Catherine’s for beautiful good quality outfits and excellent customer service.

Thank you to Catherine’s of Partick and Lisa in particular for helping my mother in law find the most beautiful outfit for our wedding. Despite initially dreading the process she left feeling and looking a million dollars.

Roma, who served me, was very attentive and found at least 5 outfits for me to try on to start with. Roma was also very patient and helpful and made me feel relaxed. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is not sure what they are looking for or what suits them as there is an abundance of choice. Xx

We booked slots with Catherine's of Partick for mother of the bride outfits after a recommendation from a friend. Roma was our stylist, she was lovely. She made us all feel so at ease and was very knowledgeable about all their dresses. My mum and mum in law both got their outfits today, they look beautiful and I can't wait for the big day!

I can’t praise this shop enough, The service is first class. I live over 200 miles away from the shop premises and I couldn’t go in to try the outfits on however I knew exactly what I wanted and explain to the staff what it was and they found the perfect outfit. Mark provided me with photos trying to match an appropriate fascinator for the dress. I told him exactly what I wanted and they went round the store taking photos of different Facinators with the dress to send me until they found the perfect one for me, Mark arranged for it to be sent with FedEx and I received it by lunchtime the next day I couldn’t believe it. What a service. Everything was perfect, thank you, Mark and all the other staff that were Involved xx

Mags and Roma were my personal assistants and can’t thank them enough for helping me find the perfect dress for my best friends black tie wedding! I thought I knew what I wanted but left with something completely different and spectacular. I felt amazing all day in my dress and received many compliments. They co-ordinated the bag, shoes, fascinator and jewellery to perfection. Their attention to detail, professionalism, experience and knowledge put me at ease and made me feel very special. Thank you for making me feel amazing at the wedding. 🩷

Catherine’s of Partick is a beautiful bright shop with a/c and an amazing ambiance with lots of gorgeous outfits to choose from.
I was helped choose my outfit for my son’s wedding with my sister and served by Ailsa .
Ailsa was lovely, helpful and friendly and once I chose my dress she picked a beautiful hat which complimented my dress beautifully. The only negative thing I would say is after paying over a £1,000 for my outfit I would have expected my dress in a dress/suit bag instead of a polythene shroud. My sister bought an outfit for her son’s wedding in Reeta’s and was given hers in a lovely dress covering, she also got a much cheaper dress at Catwalk as a wedding guest and was also given her outfit presented in a beautiful bag.This is the only negative about my experience. I am delighted with my dress and hat and can’t wait to wear them .

Katie was absolutely brilliant. I was shown styles that I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen and they were the nicest.
She was extremely patient and let me try various hats and shoes to compliment the dress perfectly.

I felt very rushed and it spoiled what should have been a lovely experience. Mags constantly told me I only had 1.5 hours and pushed me to 'rank' the dresses. I wasn't allowed to look at dresses they didn't stock in my size (in case I found something I liked better and could source elsewhere). They wouldn't hold a dress while we went for a coffee to think about it and won't do a refund only exchange. I was told it was now 'late in the season' so stock was lower. I have spent £1000 on a dress and hat I'm not sure I'm happy with. There was no ' we want you to be sure, it's a big decision, have a think about it '. I don't live nearby so can't go for an exchange. My advice use your appointment to try but don't buy, don't be pressurised. Think about it and if you are sure you can always get the dress online.

Katie, our assistant was relaxed, listened well to what we were looking for and pleasant at all times. She had good knowledge of the stock and was helpful in showing us how best to complete the outfit.

Katie made myself and my daughter feel very relaxed and within no time we both trusted her in guiding us through the vast selection of dresses. With the overwhelming choices in front of us it initially seemed a very daunting prospect, trying to find “The One”!

Katie used her knowledge of the clothing, with the information she had obtained about my “wish list” / “No no’s”, to find a really good selection and variety. Even using my feed back (on the ones I tried on) to bring me more options and choices.

Instead of ever feeling hurried she took her time to discover the positives and negatives about every outfit, utilising that knowledge to bring different styles. She remained cheerful and attentative throughout and eventually found me the perfect dress, from a style I had not even considered.

Many people can find outfits, using a persons “wish list”, very few have the ability to actually listen and interpret feed back and then produce something perfect, a style they may never have considered before.

Katie was warm, welcoming, knowledgable and professional. She made me feel extremely comfortable, without ever invading my personal space or privacy. She made my visit a really enjoyable experience.

As soon as I arrived Mags just put me at ease, she was great helping me choose dresses to try on. All the staff were so friendly, Roma brought me a dress I wouldn’t have chosen myself and it was perfect even had a matching hat that I loved. Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend Catherine’s of Partick.

After a couple of lukewarm experiences with other establishments. I came to Catherine's a bit despondent.
I was served by Jacqueline and her enthusiasm and commitment to finding me the perfect outfit was outstanding. She listened to what I thought I wanted and gently showed me what I would never have considered. Resulting in my perfect Mother of the Bride outfit. She changed shoes, jewellery and hats with so much patience and provided me with a numerous number of dresses to try. Perfect experience. Thank you.

Lisa was fantastic! She made me feel a million dollars with adding beautiful shoes, handbag, Jewellery why go anywhere else when it’s all there. For that special day visit Catherine’s of Patrick, it’s a winner.

What a great establishment, lots of choice of dresses, shoes and hats. Roma and Mags put me at ease straight away and were very attentive to helping me choose my outfit. They took away all the stress of trying to coordinate my dress with hat, shoes etc. Would most definitely recommend giving this store a visit.

I already had an outfit but needed shoes, a bag and hat to match. The staff were helpful, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Alison listened to what I wanted and took time to make sure I was happy with the end result.

My Mother and I came here to have her styled for my wedding next year, and had an absolutely fantastic experience! She was a little apprehensive making the appointment but she had a marvelous time!
Jacqueline was so attentive and kind. She listened to my Mom so well, and was a genius in what she pulled for her.
We're both so thrilled with what my Mom will be wearing.
