Sooner than expected

Very quick delivery and subsequent UK customs clearance for which no charges were made. It was as if the fan was supplied from the UK. All very satisfactory.

The people at fan boutique were brilliant, helpful and concerned about import cost, as carrier tried to charge for import (mistakenly) and very helpful
The fan was everything we hoped, silent, efficient and stylish, would recommend.

Ceiling fans

Very good company to deal with, customer service as exceptional as there was a problem with the parcel delivery company UPS who are useless but customer services sorted the problem out on my behalf with a satisfactory conclusion. Highly recommend this company.

Some times, it's can be useful to get contact before shouting, no?

Anyway, thank you for this review.
1) When we send you the tracking number by email, we advise, that if UPS asks you something to pay, please advice us !
You already pay those taxes in your price, you don't need to pay, we pay those taxes for you if that happened.
2) Before claiming here, the good practice is to send us an email, to give us a phone call, so we can solve the problems, this one, or another !
But here, not, you just give bad feedback and that it, like if we never advise about that..
So if you want to solved this problem, you will need to make two things.
1) Cancel this feedback.
2) Phone us.
And we solved the problem in 3 minutes?

Fabriplus Fan Review. (Fanbootique).

OK, so the fan does what it says on the tin. However the mounting bracket didn't really give enough room for manouver. The mounting holes in my opinion are too close to the edge of the joist. In the end I fettled an encasement to wrap around the joist and drilled a new set of holes in the bracket allowing me to bolt the fan to the encasement bracket. Therefore the joist was not compromised with any screws at all. The delivery came from Spain and I was initially hit with a £45 import charge. HOWEVER Fanboutique honoured the free delivery and paid the import charge. One final note is that UPS seemed rather trigger happy on the delivery notifications. I think received nearly 20 emails informing me of delivery which changed several times as the goods were held up in France apparently due to 'Brexit'.

Conclusion: Annoying that goods came from Spain (didn't quite read the small print and assumed goods were UK as the site is a. Co.uk website). Fanboutique were helpful and responded quickly to my queries. Fan seems OK, although Made In China. Maybe a little over priced.

To begin with, thank you for this precise opinion.
We would like to clarify two things.
The site is in CO.UK because without this, the referencing of this one would be almost impossible, but this also happens to amazon, ebay and other websites.
The products arrive either from Germany or Spain, we clearly wish to store products in England in order to be faster, but unfortunately, all the logisticians are full, there is no more space in the warehouses to do this, to our great dismay.
As for the product, we will check the details of the fixing which should be standard, as it is the only thing that is massified on this type of fan.
Indeed this product is made in China, because in Europe, there are no manufacturers for these fans. This said, there are 3 places to manufacture these, and we hope that this will change, China, Korea and Taiwan, the United States. Brands like Hunter have been manufacturing in China for over 10 years.
The quality is spread out from the manufacturer's control program, so the product you buy is pretty good because the light point is particularly well worked.
In any case, thank you for these reflections which do not leave us indifferent, and it is true that the brexit does not help us for the customer satisfaction part.

Purchase of Ceiling Fan

Ordered a new fan from the .co.uk website and despite an initial problem with the import duties ( which the Company sorted out very quickly ) and the wait for some small delays due to Brexit hold ups the purchase ran very smoothly.
The fan was exactly what we wanted and was a good competitive price.
The Company communicated delays due to the Brexit issues very well but in fairness the fan turned within 7 days.

If you ask us in a normal way, we pay those taxes in any cases.
And we don't need to answer to trust pilote to do it, just ask us.
When the system of the border agent failed, they don't find our EORI number, then, they asked you to pay.
So, let's make a deal, you put a normal review about the product, the web our reactivity etc.., and we refund you this money, we didn't do it before, because sometime, customers don't respect their word.. deal ?

After checking your tracking number it appears the border agent doesn't use our UK VAT number.
SO we pay online the taxes for you, and the product will be released today.

Indeed, we have to change the system or stop selling Faro, because already this summer we had delivery problems.
The products are in stock, we order them, in normal operation, we receive them the next day, check them and send them back.
But if there is a problem with the carrier, which is the case with 4 fans not received, complaints at home are simply time-consuming.
As a result, another delivery is needed, and here it's someone from Faro who has to make the decision. This normally works, but with the holidays, nobody makes the decision about anything...
What's more, the product is out of stock on their commercial management.
Since Monday, we have been harassing Faro to make him assume that their transporter is just a disaster, and to find us a product.
It's done today, we have received your product which is coming out today.
These are the joys of automatic business, when it works it's great, but in holiday periods when it doesn't, there's nobody to make the right decisions...
We apologize for that, your product will be at home next week.
