Mostly a scam. Tested a couple of crypto transfers, they all vanished and customer support ignores any inquiries. Besides their rates are laughable compared to a real site like Nexo.

This is the worst wallet ever. To send funds out, you have to wait 24 hours to get the approval on the address. I found out today that when you send a large amount out, it can take up to ANOTHER 24 hours for them to send. They are no better than a bank holding your funds. The Unbank Yourself shirt the CEO Mashinsky wears is BS and hypocritical. Their customer service is basically non-existent except for snail mail.

Waste of time.

I'm sure most users have a seamless experience. However, if you're part of the small % who run into issues, just use another trading platform. Don't bother contacting support.

It has been 6 days and after several attempts, I am still unable to verify my ID and start trading. A friend referred me to Celcius because I am just beginning to trade crypto and I could get a $50 reward. He said it could be done within minutes, but that has not been the case for me.

I contacted their help desk and they said the issue is something to do with my photo ID quality. However they won't tell you specifically what is wrong with your photo and they don't let you go back and try again if you make a mistake. I've had to wait 24-48 hours, only to have my photo rejected, and then go through the whole process again, and be declined again.

I know this is not something to do with my ID or my camera, because I have used other apps/services which require a photo of my ID, and they have never been this difficult! This is specifically an issue I have only ever had with Celcius.

If this is how difficult it's going to be transferring money in, I simply don't trust that it will be an easy process to transfer money out.

Until I hear that Celcius fixes their ID verification process, I will not be joining any time soon. Use DigitalSurge or Swyftx instead. Even though other platforms charge transaction fees, I am happy to pay for the convenience of being immediately able to trade, rather than waiting and waiting with no end in sight.

I think celcius needs to have a good chat with trust pilot to get these fake and inaccurate 1 Star reviews removed.

I've been using celcius for over a year now and the funniest and most obvious fake review is regarding gas fees... Celcius covers gas fees for ANY crypto withdrawal from it's platform, You WILL have to pay gas fees when sending to celcius. Customer service i can't comment because I haven't had an issue where I've had to contact celcius.

It's either these people don't know what they're doing, fake or being created to damage celcius rating... Maybe all three lol.

It was very easy to set up an account and transfer money into it.

Taking funds out is close to impossible.
For the past two days, I keep sending support requests but NO answer.
Account verification emails do not come and after 23 hours you have to start over and AGAIN I am NOT able to verify my deposit addresses.
I am so frustrated!
ALL of my funds are locked up now for three days.

The app SUCKS.
1. It locks up from time to time
2. The GUI is pathetic
3. 2FA configuration does NOT work. It lets you copy and paste the 2FA key but the APP reports that they do NOT match and so you can NOT set up 2FA.

About 6 days ago, when i tried to login to Celsius. I was told that my account is suspended, then on the same day I emailed to Celsius support app[@]celsius.network and received a zendesk support ticket.

After 5 days since my email, I receive NO reply or whatsoever. On the 6th day, Celsius Compliance Supervisor replied and says my account was suspend due to misuse of their referral but short of providing any evidence. At the same time, the compliance supervisor who ask me to provide my withdrawal address to be refunded in 30 days.

I have responded immediately upon receive reply from the compliance supervisor, asking him to provide the list of coins that I have in my account this is so that I can provide him my withdrawal address since I have no access to my Celsius account at all. I also asked him to provided .csv for all my transactions so I can verified if Celsius returned the correct amount.

1 day have passed since my reply to the compliance supervisor and I have not received any reply from the compliance supervisor. At this moment, Celsius is holding more than $250k worth of my crypto hostage. The longer Celsius takes to do anything, I am eventually losing out investment / trading opportunities and interest that I can stake at another platform.

Definitely not recommend this platform, as this platform can suspend your account without any warning. From result of the account suspension, Celsius makes me forfeit 2 weeks worth of interest and leave me without access to my crypto for indefinitely until they refund.

Scam !! I've never seen such a bad customer services and a public criminel organization to steal your coins !! Stay far away from them !!

As others have noted, this platform has some real problems when it comes to managing your assets.

They require you to submit an address 24 hours in advance in order to withdraw funds. Worse, when you make a withdrawal the ETH GAS FEES are sky high, and you are asked to approve your transfer without being able to see the fee ahead of time, so you're committing to a huge, unknown fee beforehand. Ridiculously expensive!!

I contacted customer support and got a canned answer about "Celsius does not charge fees". They did not respond to the real content of my request, and when I asked for further follow-up there was zero response.

STAY AWAY, you will lose tons of $$ in gas fees until the ETH network resolves its congestion issues. Customer service portal is a sad joke.

Only possible to transfer funds with erc20. So your rewards will be eaten by this if you don't move 10 of thousands of dollars.

You can only use one adres and changing or approving takes a day. So you are not agile to move your funds.

Buying crypto on the platform is very expensive.

Horrible experience, feels like a scam. I created account and sent little amount of crypto, everything seemed ok. I deposited some more. And... app logged out, I was trying to log in but it didn't allow to paste 2FA. I tried several times and they locked my account. Support doesn't answer. Now I don't know if I will get my crypto back

This is a scam! Customer support says He'll transfer my coin from blockchain to my USDC address, but I have never received them. They stole my coins.

I opened an account with Celsius, no problems, and transferred a small test amount of BTC to it.
Now I am told that Celsius is not available in my region (UK) and I do not have access to my BTC. All this, despite the fact that I had to input my full address and provide a photo of my driving license during account set up.
I have submitted a support ticket and have been fobbed off numerous times now. I have also messaged Celsius via Messenger and have also been fobbed off.
So to conclude, Celsius allowed me to set up an account and make a deposit, and now they won't let me access my funds. To me, this is theft.
No idea how to resolve this situation which is very frustrating.

My account was suspended with more than 1000$ there without any reason.
Support does not reply to my emails. I am waiting a reply since 30/9.
Avoid this website! Rather 100% of coins than 5% interest for some time and to get suspended in the end and lose everything.

Almost as awful as nexo, only reason I say that Is nexo FINALLY replied, after 4 months. It's been almost 5 months and Celsius has STILL not replied to any of the 100s of request I've submitted about my stolen funds and the information I need for the police report & To pursue an investigation.
Their lack of response = refusal to disclose information related to whom stole my funds, how, and where my funds ended up.

For a man who is seen as a respectable idol that cares about his clients & partners, he sure does lack compassion & promotes a business that supports criminals who steal from individuals.

Scam , tottaly scam .

It works well until you need customer support. It’s been 55 days with no outcome. After they promised up to 45 days to find my coins. Although sent to the correct address they hold onto your money and delay with each response. They are not insured either after reading their terms and conditions that makes me wonder how legit this company is in caring for their customers. At one point I would have recommended them. Now I will tell everyone to steer CLEAR! Large investors matter. Little ones it seems DONT! The only good reviews I’ve read so far are by paid journalists or You Tubers.

Hi, my account is currently in HODL mode since September 25. I created a ticket on Sept 25. I provided screenshot, videos and provided answers to their question about my multiple small withdrawals of USDC on same day. They did not respond in 1 week. So I sent them another message but they did not respond. SO I created another ticket. They closed that ticket and merged it to the new ticket. The Compliance manager responded finally on Oct 1 but just asked question again about USDC. I responded right away. They didn't respond again. I sent another email today Oct 5 but they just closed the ticket instead saying "we haven't heard from you in a while, so we market the ticket as Resolved." They were the one not responding, not me. I tried creating another ticket but they just close them. Tried contacting them in twitter and reddit. But they just said " your case is still being worked on." But no one is responding to email. Celsius just became my top interest account to worst.
