We weren't aware that we needed to oil …
We weren't aware that we needed to oil the shelves originally so we're quite shocked when we took them out of the packaging and they were untreated. However in hindsight it does state clearly on the website so we weren't too fussed. On the other hand we went through all three plastic pads supplied with the shelves as they disintegrated due to the texture of the wood. My partner put the brackets on the walls with precision i.e. all level. When we went to put the shelves on they wobbled loads, this was due to the brackets not bent to 90 degrees. My partner had to take a mallet to them to bend them into shape! They were also really rusty so I had to give them a good clean. With that said, they do look stunning on the wall. Just maybe for the future please ensure that the brackets are made at the correct angle :) thanks

Rustic pine shelves
Simple easy transaction. The pine shelves were beautiful and chunky, just what what I was after at a reasonable price. And the brackets give them a fab rustic feel. Quick to deliver. All in all, one happy customer.

Wonderful piece of oak
Wonderful piece of oak, received in a few days with no extra charge to Northern Ireland (unlike some competitors who wanted to charge me an extra £30 for the benefit). I also had a small request which Ian sorted straight away.
Couldn't reccommend them highly enough.

Oak Planters
I ordered three half barrel planters two large wine and one large whiskey.
The wine half barrels were like new with only the stains from red wine to say that they were used.
The carriers were very good and rang to make sure we were available.
The driver joked that he hoped he wasn't stopped by police as the alcohol fumes in his van were intoxicating. I am very pleased with my planters and cannot praise Celtic Timber highly enough.
