I am very satisfied

Thank you Jacob for helping me with my rent certificate, I really appreciate the time and effort you took to explain it to me. I was scared to ring but so glad your kindness made my day.

Excellent Service

Today I had to call Centerlink to get some clarification on a service. The lady who took the call was amazing. I believe her name is Gurvinder. She was patient, carefully listened, and resolved my issues to the best of her ability.
On the other hand, I would like to let Centerlink know that it took almost 2 hours to get connected over the phone. But I am happy thatthe issue was resolved

The worst system in the world this…

The worst system in the world this Centerlink. I paid $10000 Tax just last year. I am unemployed temporarily and have no source of income and have few $ in my account and applied for jsp till I find another job and they have the least passion to help citizens like me. Just so pathetic and humiliation to apply. So ridiculous the government won't miss 1$ to rip of you but when you need help then you're no eligible or have to wait for months. You have to be on the street so they process your claim or have no food to eat. What? Are we in a poor country unbelievable. I hate this corruption and unjust. If there's a zero I would give centerlink 0 star. Sick of it.

Appauling service

Centrelink gave me a time they would phone call when I was at their centre but I came home to find it clashed with a booked medical proceedure which would prevent me from answering the phone. I tried and tried to contact them by phone at various times but couldn't get through with call wait times more than 3/4hr. In the end I rescheduled the medical proceedure but... centrelink did not ring at the time advised. What sort of public service is this? 2026...., service is still appauling, over last two days have spent over 2 hrs trying to get through to give an update on some information they require.Still unable to contact them. The web site is useless! Unfathomable nonsense. No wonder people get annoyed and angry, if this was a private business they'd be run out if town.

No Social Justice

Did you know when you actually submit a complaint to Centrelink about certain things? That it's actually staff members of Centrelink that actually deal with your complaints.? That's unbelievable..

So the person now thats handling your complaint is a person that's been mentioned in your complaint. Honestly do you think your complaint is going to be investigated in a honest way. Think about it ?

That's why nothing ever gets done. That's very worrying I find as there's no social justice for members of the community

Centerlink and many other providers…

Centerlink and many other providers just dont take calls anymore. They just have a recorded message saying we are too busy to take your call and hang up.
If you attempt to call back they say we know you have already called and hang up again.
Where did Australian society go so wrong?
Its sad how horrible Australia is as a country.
Services like centerlink that deal with young people, the elderly, disabled and fringe people dont care at all. They may as well tell you to F#$k off.
The ruleing elite have gone to far. Its time for a revolution in Australia to get rid of the government systems designed to repress and placate the working class and the bottom of society in need of help. #overthrowaustraliangovernment.
They is no other way.

Centrelink

I can't belevie they make you have to link a application in the form of Centrelink then the Centrelink link is so vulnerable as it's open slather, the even sadder part is you can't log out of the Centrelink side off things . You can log out off mygov then which leaves Centrelink app running open in the background of your browser. The web developer Dynatrace is actually a very good programmer, you can see the Australian government is definitely in on it too frucking Australias around. The thing is Centrelink has a private policy act 1988 which states that there paramount about people's private information, but has a app designed that Centrelink workers can open and come in the backdoor of customers profiles. Way to go Centrelink tucking shitbags

Centrelink is a disgrace.

Centrelink is a disgrace.
Cannot reach out via phone or take hours if they don't drop the call.

Atrocious level of customer service, no empathy, nor trained to know how to guide people.

Mistake after mistake, we received a comm telling us we had 0% CCS but it was a mistake later corrected yet which caused us lots of stress. Then we have recently received debt/bill of 26K without any logic or breakdown of the figures. Centrelink is meant to help, isn't it? Well, it's causing my family nothing else than high anxiety during a cost of living crisis.

Centrelink and Services Australia are…frustrating, a bad joke

Centrelink and Services Australia are an abomination. Trying to contact them, especially to be able to talk to a helpful human being, is nearly impossible.
If after hours of being on hold you reach a person or are told you can speak to an operator you inevitably have to deal with an AI or something that takes your information, tells you you can do it online with self service then hangs up. They wonder why people get angry.
I go on line to My gov, it gets confusing, don't seem to have what I'm looking for even though it's basic. Get worried if I make a mistake I'll be cut off. Which they happily do. No compassion, mostly. Then we're back to trying to talk to a helpful human.
They expect everyone has mobile phones and computers. I'm reasonably tech savvy. There are plenty of people that don't. The elderly, the sick, the depressed , how do they deal with it ? It has never been a great place to deal with but it seems the past 10 years it has become a nightmare. It's a reflection of the "Government" and the stunts being pulled worldwide.
Employ HUMANS to answer the phones. Humans that can actually help. Stop taking our choices away. I hate self service. I need helpful service.
So frustrated it nearly makes me cry. They want us to give up and give in. As long as the Gov makes money that's all they care about

Would leave a zero if that was an option

Would leave a zero if that was an option!!! After going through the long arduous experience with the AI Bot, I then get put on hold for about 30 minutes, finally someone answers only to say they need to put me through to another section, so back on hold again 40 + minutes and still going! I’m writing this while on hold! Get it together, hire more people, bring back customer service, or better still make online easier to use! All we needed was to update my son’s health care card to basically confirm he’s still a student, tried online with no success, should not have to be this frustratingly difficult! God forbid if you get cut off and have to go through the whole painful process again!

Centrelink Obstruction and Abuse

Yesterday I tried to call Centrelink a number of times and was thrown off each time because they were 'too busy'. Read that as understaffed. Today I was more fortunate. I called and after two hours, was answered by a nice young woman who, when I remarked I had been on waiting for two hours, said she didn't believe that is an appropriate comment - and put the phone down. How to deal with these ignorant arrogant people? No regard for my time or that I would have to presumably waste another two hours calling again. No wonder Robodebt was such a roaring success .with personalities like this answering the phone.

Agency and staff unaccountable for their actions.

Agency unaccountable for their actions.
Unable to give timeframes for disability pension. This is with my local parliamentary member supposedly contacting Centrelink.
No social workers available on phone or in person. Weeks wait for appointment after you have waited two hours on a phone line to make an appointment.

Absolutely disgraceful service

Absolutely disgraceful service. I call in at 8am on the dot and I've been waiting for nearly an hour on hold.
The automated bs you have to go through at the start of the call is the frustrating process and it's little wonder why people are pissed off once they eventually get through to an operator.
