I am writing this to demand an immediate refund for an unauthorized charge of $44.99.
This company uses "dark patterns" to trick users into a high-priced subscription after taking a simple IQ test. I did not consent to a recurring $44.99 charge. This is a predatory billing practice and I have already contacted my bank to flag this transaction as fraudulent/unauthorized.
I demand that: MylQ/ Cerebrum IQ]:

1. Refund the $44.99 immediately.

2. Cancel all future billing.

3. Provide confirmation of this cancellation here or via email.
If this is not resolved immediately, I will be forwarding my documentation to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

I took a simple IQ test for a small fee of LKR 319 (around $1). Moments ago, you unauthorizedly charged my card LKR 9617.63 ($30) for a subscription I never agreed to.
​I have already cancelled the subscription in your portal and taken screenshots. I am demanding an immediate refund of the LKR 9617.63.

The ad said I could cancel immediately after spending 1.00 to receive a score and so, I de-activated my account minutes after receiving my score. Then, I was charged for the next month. I logged in and my account was no longer valid. So -- my account was, in fact, de-activated but not before I was charged for an entire month. Total online scam.

They have again taken out of my account over 6 months and they won’t stop!! They are liars and thieves ! I have over 40 emails they won’t stop taking it out!! They use the excuse can’t find your email etc over 30 those emails. I have never ever dealt with such fraud and scammers in my life.!! You owe me $$200!!!lie lie lie

I paid for an initial €1 iq test from my IQ/ cerebrum IQ, a few days later I’m charged €30 for a subscription I didn’t sign up for. Upon requesting a refund “David” a clear and obvious chatbot will repeat the same questions about your account details and how they can’t find it. I’m sure after this review they will miraculously find it!
Update: Do not be fooled by their response to my review, still nothing has been resolved even after being given a “reference number” Stay away from this company at all costs!!

I was charged by MyIQ / Cerebrum IQ without ever subscribing to their service. I did not sign up, did not authorize any payment, and did not agree to any terms and conditions.

After reporting the charge as unauthorized, I was repeatedly given generic responses about “canceling a subscription” that does not exist. I have contacted their support multiple times, and although my case was “escalated” again and again, no refund confirmation, reference number, or concrete update was ever provided, even after more than 48 hours.

This appears to be either fraudulent billing or extremely unethical business practice. I am now proceeding with a bank chargeback and formal fraud reports.

I strongly advise others to avoid this company. If you see a charge from them that you don’t recognize, act immediately.

Myiq have taken an unlawful.payment without my authorisation. I've complained and confirmed everything but they say they can't find my account. I require a full refund as I am a pensioner.

I was charged an unauthorized $30 for a subscription I never agreed to. I paid $1 for a simple IQ test and was never shown any subscription terms. This is a "deceptive billing pattern" designed to trick people, especially seniors.

I have already contacted PayPal, and I am now filing a formal fraud complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the FTC.

I am 60 and I cannot afford for this company to take my money through these "slamming and cramming" tactics. I demand a full refund of the $29.99 immediately. Stop the stalling and the automated bot replies. Refund my money now.

I have been unknowingly and unwillingly paying a £14.99 bi-weekly subscription after only agreeing to pay £1 for a personality test. I reached out to them directly as a gesture of good will, and they only agreed to cancel future payments but did not respond to my dispute for a refund of the fraudulent charges. I reached out to my bank directly who raised the dispute and I received a chargeback through them. Their email responses are also very clearly AI- a response regarding a cancellation was provided within the same minute (at 1.40am!!) , but as soon as I requested a refund they said they’re receiving a ‘high volume’ of enquiries and then never got back to me. Reddit has a very large number of negative reviews and comments on this company too, so please do your research first! A deceptive company with a malicious intent. Save your money and invest in a personality test elsewhere.

I saw the ad for the IQ test for 1 dollar. I took it. Literally a few days later I am billed by cerebrum iq for thirty dollars. What the hell then I write you guys and you say on no your account is on my iq???? so then I go there and cancel it and they never billed me. It's really pretty scammy to bill someone like that and to bill them from a company that is different from the name of the company that had the test/account. If you want to immediately end up signed up for a thirty dollar a month charge then by all means take their test.

Total scam. Tried the IQ test for $1/7 days and IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED THAT DAY. 3 months later I found a $29.99 recurring charge and another $29.99 my fraud alert today.

Looked to login to see if I could re-cancel and could not find any login information with them which is unusual as I keep all login info for future reference.

Submitted info to Support Team from MyIQ help at support.wrld.net AND their parent support at wrld.net - provide all relevant information as requested and keep getting the same email over and over 20x repeated messages in past hour and a half:

If you signed up via PayPal, please inform me, as your subscription might be linked to that email.

50p test turned into a £29.99 subripton every 28 day. £360 a year for what?? Scam Scam Scam get you bank involved for a refund. Almost every review is the same bellow

This is a scam. They took unauthorised payments from my card for over a year. I'll be taking legal action against them.

Do not, under any circumstance, authorise any payment towards this company

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency. On Dec 22, I paid 1 EUR for what was presented as a simple IQ test. Today, Dec 29, they automatically charged me 30 EUR without any prior notification or invoice.

This is a classic "subscription trap" which is illegal under EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU). I have already contacted my bank (monobank) to initiate a chargeback and blocked all future payments.

Their support is just an automated bot ("David") that doesn't provide real solutions. If you value your money, stay away from this site. I demand an immediate refund.. I will only update this rating once the money is back in my account.

After cancelling 4 times even being charged 800. I get s response asking for my credentials for my return I complied And still have not received a penny….. horrible company!

THIEVES….SCAM Alert

This company scammed me and I wouldn’t even know, had the bank not stopped one of their fraudulent automatic payment demands. I signed up for a once off £0.99 IQ test. These pricks then tried to steal from me. I will need to check how many times they leeched off of me. Pricks like these will render the internet useless. Here’s hoping 2026 see you wankers imprisoned

I signed up for !Q test, payment was £0.99, I then found out later they had taken 2 payments of £29.99 from my card, I never authorised these payments, I am getting no service for these payments, can't use there portal for refunds as it is not working, I am an old age pensioner and can ill afford to make this recurring pyment

I took a test that was supposed to be ninety nine cents and ended up getting a subscription charge for twenty nine dollars and ninety nine cents a month that they will not refund. This company is a total scam and I am contacting as many people as I can to let them know since they are not working with me and I did not authorize any subscription. This is an embarrassment for them as I am a elderly lady.And cannot pay for my medication due to this.
