Friendly knowledgeable staff, prices are fair, will shop there again

Good price but that is it. Received no shipped confirmation no tracking number. Asked for this was given a tracking number, didn't bother telling me which delivery service this was for, despite asking for clarification. Item said 1-3days, seemingly sent 48hrs tracked yet a week later item still has not been delivered. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing experience at CGX Accrington.

My 12-year-old son bought a PS5 controller from this shop. Within around few minutes of purchase, we returned because we discovered the controller appeared in poor condition, visibly dirty and unhygienic and wanted an exchange for a new one or return.

Instead of showing any understanding or goodwill, especially considering the purchase was made by a child and we came back almost immediately, the staff refused to accept a return and stated they would only take it back if it was faulty. Their solution was simply to clean the controller and send us away. We were told this was their policy and that it was written on the receipt.

What disappointed us most was not only the refusal, but the complete lack of customer care, flexibility or basic empathy. Selling an item in that condition and then refusing to return leaves a very poor impression.

I would strongly advise customers to firstly avoid, or carefully inspect any used items before leaving the shop because once you pay, do not expect reasonable support if you change your mind immediately after discovering the condition of the item.

Terrible, that’s all that needs to be said.

I mean £99 for an amp that costs quite a bit more sounds like a dream- brand new too! I actually thought it was a bit sketchy if I’m quite frank, however I was proved very wrong and turned out that it might’ve been the best purchase ever! Would definitely recommend. It terms of delivery, I’m pretty sure it was fairly good. I can’t quite remember though as this was a while ago but I’ve still got the amp as my main and I love it 😃

This was my first time using CGX. It was easy to order from the website. Delivery quick. Product is very good and very reasonably priced.

So I thought these things happen and ordered elsewhere - only to find that it was now out for delivery.🤔I assumed a business card and packet of sweets would appear as an apology perhaps.
The good part was the bubble wrap and packaging were dubious - but it arrived un damaged.👍
The bad part is sold as grade B yet has all screw on feet and some cover screws missing.
I now have a duplicated purchase- as I assumed order had been cancelled due to the email .🤷

The speakers were in better condition than expected from the description and the delivery was super quick. So a big thumbs up from me.

This is a very legit store. Double-check with them the item you want, as some stores can send the wrong item. They were quick in refunding me my last purchase because the product I selected was sold out. Despite this, their delivery was top-notch and the price was reasonable.

So I bought an Xbox which didn’t work so returned it cgx sent there own return and had it picked up from my home which I didn’t agree too although this has been a bit of a disaster I received a phone call from cgx to make this right and will receive my refund and whoever I received the phone call off thank you it was appreciated and am glad we can resolve this issue
