I ordered a kitchen worktop from Chadwicks website for the "next day delivery". Nothing happened the next day and the day after. When I contacted Chadwicks, I was told that the worktop was not in stock and will be in stock in several days. A week later I called them again - delivery had been arranged for the next day, but without delivering the worktop to my apartment (they would bring it to the building only). I cancelled the order and went elsewhere.

Had a lovely experience in Chadwick’s in Stillorgan Ind Park this morning (17/05/25) with Gerry O’Reilly. He was most helpful and went above and beyond to help and advise me. Great to meet such nice and knowledgeable people and I will definitely be back..

Heard good things about Chadwicks, but have had a very poor experience myself. Three orders, three total mess ups:

- order 1: wrong items delivered (wrong size and materials). I noticed only weeks later, as we were moving to our new house, so it was too late to return. Over 100 euro wasted.
-order 2: in Chadwick's universes next day after Friday is Monday! So, no next day delivery. It's next working day. Beware or your weekend dyi plans will go belly up. One of the items arrived if super nad quality: crumbly and moldy stink once we opened it, 70 euro wasted.
- order 3: after Thursday comes... You got it - Tuesday delivery! Wrong items again! Wrong size, so not suitable for our project, need to arrange a return now and order from elsewhere. Pain. Delayed work again, thank you Chadwick's!

I guess by now you see the pattern. Wasted over 170 euro (plus delivery), works delayed. Never buying from Chadwick's again. Nice people but what a bad experience.

I was having difficulty with the online system for ordering as I am from the UK. I phoned and was connected to Michael Roche at the Co. Wexford branch. Michael was great, super helpful arranged everything and the goods were despatched to the Dublin address for next day delivery.

I ordered products with delivery, on their website it says that if the order is placed by 1pm, they deliver the next day, 5 days have passed and I have not received the order, there is a problem connecting to support too, I do not recommend

Super efficient and fast! I ordered over 500 of supplies, they promised next day delivery and they came as promised, the materials are all correct and in good condition. The driver was helpful and pleasant. These staff really try their best for the customers, and it’s nice to get that €15 off your first order. I’m sure there are other customers that would give them five stars but did t bother writing a review. I would definitely recommend and do business with them again

Chadwicks Wexford for me was terrible i ordered a peice of plywood. It states that if i order before 1pm they will deliver it the next day. So thats what i done but today i try to reach out to them and a man answers the phone and is acting like he cannot here me. I called him on 2 diffrent phones to make sure that it wasnt my phone acting up but it was the same on the second phone. So the man was just ignoring me. Before this i called as soon as they opened and i was told they would call me back which they never did. Mind you I live only 2km from the place.

Ordered timber and post10 from the company, unfortunately my post10 was not included in the delivery and a re-arranged delivery was agreed, however this did not go according to plan and the second delivery driver was unhelpful and dismissive on the phone when I informed him I wasn’t there as I had agreed a different time for the rearranged delivery and not to leave it out side my property. The following morning (without asking or contacting Chadwick’s) I received a call from the manager Stephen (Navan branch) and the first thing he asked me was ‘what has gone wrong here and how can we fix it’, suffice to say everything was sorted quickly and the post10 delivered. Exception service.

Extraordinary bad service from their delivery team who dumped my € 1200 stuff in front of my neighbour's house without even a call. When I called their delivery , a guy named Paul answered and was entirely unhelpful, of course who cares for the customer once goods are paid for !! Biggest regret of doing business with them

Ordered 700euro worth of timber from Pierce in Navan shop. Told me it was treated 3 times and it wasn't. Lots of wood had mold or was really damaged. Some of the timber was covered in spray paint and cement.

To add insult they were the most expensive in Navan, but because I was promised it was treated timber I thought the price was OK. I went to another provider to see their timber being delivered and it was like night and day, such better quality, left me sickened.

Ordered amongst other things, a radiator on line. Was told via email 2 to 3 weeks for delivery which I expected as one of the radiators was quite large and probably made to order.
5 weeks later and I'm still waiting.
I just keep getting thanked for my patience every time I chase this up.
Shame I cant order more patience on their website as I believe there would be quite some demand for it...

Pat saved the day! Battled the rush hour traffic to arrive at Merchards Yard, east wall road only to see it being closed up. Pat came over and when I told him my problem he opened the store again and got me what I needed. Total gent. So much appreciated, thank you.

1st class service from Chadwicks in naas. In particular Julie , so helpful and excellent at her job. Everyone super helpful. I will continue to take my business here. Thanks everyone

Made an order online 15 days ago spent €469 on fencing and posts just to be told they weren't in stock 15 days later and still no word on the order

I needed some decorative stones at short notice. Chadwicks was only vendor that provided pricing and indication of delivery online. Even when I contacted other vendors via chat, which ended up as email, they didn't answer me re delivery. Chadwicks was the cheapest and delivered a day earlier, having contacted me first. The delivery driver was polite and accommodating too. All in all, a friendly, easy to use and best value service.

First and last time. I bought almost 200 eur of construction materials for my garden. The website advertised 2 business days delivery. It took 2 weeks with no communication for them to act. Only when I registered a bad review in another website and emailed several complaints they replied. The guy was polite and apologized, said would give me a discount in price for my troubles. Keep in mind I lost a lot of time and schedule with the work. The discount was around 2,5% of the amount paid. Not worth it.

Hired a pressure washer. Great customer experience from start to finish. Great, friendly staff, offering to lift the washer from my car without having to ask

Called into Chadwick’s in Sandyford to ask if a certain product would work to repair a very large broken outdoor plant pot. Was told it wouldn’t work & when I asked if they had anything more suitable was told nothing would work and he was too busy and walked away. Exceedingly rude -obviously hasn’t learned customer service skills or only wanted to deal with tradesmen. On the other hand went into Woodies around the corner who suggested what I should try and were very helpful. Know where I won’t be going again!! Sorry there wasn’t a no ‘no star’ option
