I put a deposit down for a car. Changed my mind and requested my money back. I was told it'd be refunded back to my debit card. 2 weeks later, no refund. I called them back and i was told the refund was never processed in the first place bec they needed my bank account details. It's been nearly a month and still no refund.

After leaving a bad review for these i got a reply from them saying contact them on the email given. After doing this they still havent replied.
Absolutely shocking in every department. Do not go here

1/5 stars - Took my car in for a major issue, paid for repairs, and it's still driving like trash 😒. They didn't even bother fixing the main problem. Money down the drain (over £2K) 😒Wouldn't recommend.

Tried to book my car in for a MOT and service, was told the MOT would cost £45, when I pointed out that I had a free MOT for life certificate from them they said it was no longer valid and I would have to pay. Needless to say I will take my custom elsewhere. I have been a customer of theirs for several years.

We had a phone call to upgrade our car. Leeah (part of the sales team) was amazing, our car was late arriving and when it did arrive did have a problem. Leeah kept us as up to date as possible through the process. When realising our car wouldn't be fixed soon, she gave us the option of the same car just a different colour and made sure everything was pushed through quickly due to the long wait. Ray (another part of the sales ream) just told us what we wanted to hear, telling us as soon as our car arrived we could collect, but this wasn't the case. However, when the newer car was being pushed through he was quick with sorting out our new finance agreement.
I couldn't recommend Leeah enough, she did the best she could in a difficult situation.

Chapelhouse Wigan lied whilst buying the car 1 August 2025 . They sold me a car( APPROVED SUZUKI) with tampered milage and will not give money back. Lied during my purchase about where the car came from- said it came from an old guy . I incurred expenses which they not paying back. HPI is in red and mileage tampered with. Car was a rental with fake mileage.it is from enterprise with red hpi with doctored milage. I want all my expenses paid back. I started return process this Sunday 3 August. Thanks.

It’s difficult to give an accurate review. Adam Grey the salesman that l dealt with was a good representative of Chapelhouse MG. The ‘manager’ I spoke to seems to have lost any customer facing skills, a wagging finger and raised voice not being overly polite. Yes, I asked an awkward question as the billing information was not clearly explained to my satisfaction and I am, after all, the customer. Being told that ‘it is what it is’ and to get on with it brought the atmosphere down further. Fortunately once he moved away it allowed Adam to complete the transaction in an exemplary manner, full marks to Adam for a professional approach that was much appreciated under what I think must have been awkward circumstances for him.
Unfortunately further communications have not been so great. Promised car mats have not arrived after something like 8 weeks, response to emails has been indifferent although the self promoting service contract emails seem to arrive with me perfectly well.
Reviewed on Google and a star dropped from there to match the response which was automated from Chapelhouse as they thanked me for the review and obviously didn't read the follow up.

After buying lots of cars from here we decided we fancied a change, the salesperson was not exactly the friendly type. He was in a rush to leave so passed us onto his colleague who was friendlier. After looking at the figures, a change wasn't feasible so we said we couldn't do a deal today. He said ok and suggested us keeping our car. In previous visits Nicky worked really hard to find a deal suitable and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately we found out that Nicky no longer works here. We will not be returning.

If I could give no stars I would. Bought 2 vehicles in March 2024 and after sales "Service" is NON EXISTANT
one car had an MOT in June and needed a rear reversing bulb. 3 months on from that date and several unreturned telephone calls from the "service" department and still nothing.
Are you considering buying a vehicle from chaplehouse? My advice is DON'T!! they will be all over you at point of sale, and then you are on your own after they have their money!!!
