CharterHouse Surveyors were really easy to work with and they organised a survey really quickly at a good competitive price. We had Jake complete the survey and he covered everything in great detail highlighting issues clearly whether big or small. The report he typed up following the survey was really professional and really helpful. We can’t fault CharterHouse and particularly Jake who completed our house survey.

We commissioned Charterhouse Surveyors to undertake our initial house purchase survey a couple of years ago and more recently to draw up comprehensive plans for an extension to the rear of the property.

The service was very friendly and professional with great communication, consultation and feedback throughout. This was particularly important when we requested amendments to the plans due to our changing needs. We are also appreciative of the guidance and assistance provided for the submission of the planning application.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the professional service we received and have no hesitation in recommending Charterhouse.

A professional service with great communication. We had a level 3 building survey on a Grade II listed property. From initial contact through to completion of the survey and then discussing questions arising from the report, this was a very good experience. Both Gerard and Jake are excellent to deal with. I found both knowledgable and also pragmatic. They also clearly enjoy what they do and do it to a high standard. Would use again and happily recommend.

I contacted CharterHouse Surveyors & Engineers for advice, I am in the process of selling my Victorian property and the potential purchaser’s home buyers survey had thrown up a number of vague maybe, possibly, could be issues.
Communication with CharterHouse was clear and emails promptly sent. The survey was carried out by Dr Gerard Walsh. The report was clear, concise, written in non technical language with accompanying photographs.
The initial price may seem expensive however for the service I received I feel it was money well spent and would highly recommend Dr. Walsh and CharterHouse Surveyors.

Their service with explaining the survey process, contacting me before and after the survey appointment, and being willing to discuss the details within their detailed report further by arranging an appointment with them shows dedication to providing a high-quality service. I would highly recommend them to others during the house buying process.

This is our 3rd time using Charterhouse and wouldnt go anywhere else. Jake carried out a survey for us on an extensive property we were buying. We were honestly blown away by the level of detail, knowledge and advice contained in the report. The report enabled us to establish where additional checks were required, bringing our attention to additional documentation, warranties, etc, we should be requesting( stuff that's vital but beyond the remit of a solicitor). The level of information provided not only helped us to proceed with our purchase with our eyes wide open, but also to ensure we had everything we needed to be able to resell securely in the future. Jake completed an in depth level 3 survey on the property we were purchasing. The turn around was quick and the communication was excellent. He called to explain what he found, and when I asked what certain terms meant, he was able to provide me with simple explanations.
The report itself was outstanding. Our solicitor and mortgage advisor have even made note to recommend the company. We have also personally recommended the company to two other people.
