Charged for "Pro", left on "Free"
They charged my credit card for a year's worth of "Pro" service, and then revoked access without explanation, returning me to the "Free" account. My first inquiry resulted in a blanket form-letter response for other common customer issues that had absolutely nothing to do with my specific issue. Subsequent complaints are met with no response.
05/30/2026 Followup. I received an e-mail from Trustpilot with a form to provide chatbotapp.ai with more details, which I filled out completely. There has been no further contact from chatbotapp.ai, and they still are not providing any of the service they charged me for and they ignore my direct contact to their support email address.

Misleading billing practices
Misleading billing practices. Signed up for a trial, was charged a full $29.99 renewal today. I immediately requested a refund while having consumed only 3 messages total on the platform. Support agent Ashley completely refused the refund based on a deceptive interpretation of their 3-day policy, counting from the trial sign-up rather than the actual transaction date. Total subscription trap. Avoid this company.

Account never upgraded to pro but got charged total of 32 dollars!!!
They charged me again, this time 30 dollars! My pro subscriptions did not get activated when i wanted to use 2 dollars for a week of trial period. When I reached out and sent them the transactions they made from my credit. card, the simply replied to me that you dont have any subscription here and therefore we can not make any refunds. Yeah because you never activated my account and never sent me the receipt for my first 2 dollar purchase!!!

The subscription page and payment process were confusing and unclear, which caused me to subscribe by mistake. I believe the page design could also easily confuse other users into making unintended subscriptions. In addition, the refund process is very slow, and it has been difficult to contact or receive a response from your support team.

Not claude don't buy!!!! Be careful of scam, I recently bought the plan thinking it was claude since they bought the link above claude when you google search it. This app is a total disaster I did the free trial and still in the middle of the free trial they took a whole years worth of it as a subscription!!!! These people are thieves. They promote to try out for a week for which you have to pay. Then the bombard you with email if you do not answer they take it on themselves to charge you monthly premium fee and sign you up for the most expensive on going subscription. When you contact them they say we send you email.....But I have never read or agreed to anything else other than the week trial. They are thieves. Do not buy their products. Shocking.

I would rate it 0 stars if I could. This app masquerades as other chatbots and does not provide adequate service for money. I was lucky enough to get PayPal to refund me, since chatbot AI and Paddle would refuse and have me running around in circles. DO NOT USE THIS.

I believed I was purchasing a Pro plan directly from Claude, based on the branding and marketing on the website. After using the service a few times, I realised it was not what it appeared to be.
I immediately cancelled my 3-month subscription and contacted customer support requesting a refund due to a misleading and unintentional purchase. Despite several follow-ups, I have still not received a refund or any proper resolution.
In my opinion, the marketing is highly misleading and the customer service is extremely poor. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this business.
PS. I have contacted the email support address they are offering up several times and never received a reply
