Melissa at Timberlands Chatters is AMAZING. I have been looking my whole lifetime for exactly the cut she gave me! I have been kicked out of more salons than I care to remember because they could never cut my naturally curly hair cut the way I wanted it, the way it behaved best, the cut that made it virtually zero maintenance! Then I would go home and start clipping this piece, then that piece, making it somewhat better, also knowing that I’d be on the search for a new salon. They always let on like they knew what I wanted but they didn’t know, and I could tell with their first snip that they didn’t know.
Melissa is NOT that stylist. This cut has lasted me just over 4 months and I’m still not ready to go back. And that has never EVER happened. ( Okay, I could use a trim. See you soon, Melissa!)
Melissa also helped me pick the right product for my curls so I wash every 4 days or so, (blow drying really sets it) and I go. For the next couple of days I get up and pick it a bit and that’s it for the day. On the third day I wet it and apply some more product and I’m good for another couple of days. Unbelievable. Never has this crazy hair been so manageable and it makes me feel like a million. Melissa, I think this cut has also reduced my stress and is the main reason it has thickened up again. Not even kidding.
