I ordered a part over 3 weeks ago

I ordered a part over 3 weeks ago, the tracking stated that the part was in my city but no updates for 3 days. I emailed this company and asked about the order and received a horrendous unprofessional response! I was told that they aren’t responsible for the item once it’s shipped and that I should take up any shipping issues with the carrier. NEVER do business with this clown organization!

It started with my son backing into the…

It started with my son backing into the garage and breaking my passenger mirror clean off. Very rarely do I order online, only when I think it’d be easier to locate the part I need. Found Cheaper Honda Parts online and looked up the part I needed. My fault, I should have read the description instead of just looking at the picture. It did say mirror cover but the picture showed the whole arm that connects to the car exterior. Then I figured I look for the LH light cover on the mirror, found it but ordered the silver instead of the blue. This why I never oeder online.
Smart enough (from experience) to email company to see if I can return. He sends me address, something about if eligible for refund. Found the part at my local Advanced Auto Parts store, ordered and still faster than online. Thought about returning the parts to Cheaper Honda Parts and asking if they’d ship me the blue cover once the silver is received. He said “no, a refund will be made if pass inspection. you will need to place a new order.”
Now that’s probably because there’s a lot of shitbags that cheat businesses and he don’t know me from online. So I can’t technically fault him. But I think I may take my loss rather than paying for shipping and taking the 50/50 chance of a refund. One was still in the package unopened. The LH cover I did open but packaged back up when I saw the color. Might just go along with the silver, adds character.
Lesson learned: shop your local parts store. Be smart. Hooah.

Horrible service

Horrible service. This wharehouse is 5 hrs distance from me in Michigan i am in Illinois. I ordered 1 bolt which i am paying shipping for and 2 business days have passed and it hasnt even been shipped yet.
I dont know what business takes that many days to ship such a small part, you would think its simple but these guys go above and beyond to make it difficult. Contacting them through email has proved to be a waste of time as i was told to get the part from my local honda dealer next time. As if I would be doing business with them in the future. My first and last time interacting with these fools.

Do NOT consider CheaperHondaParts.com

If there were stronger words other than DO NOT consider this company to spend your hard-earned dollars on, I would use them. I've gone through weeks of trying to get a faulty part they sent me returned or refunded. I don't think the review space here will allow all the details. "Customer Service" and "Satisfaction Guarantee" are a farse. Much like other reviews have stated, CheaperHondaParts (CHP) will only communicate via email - "we only online company, no phone number" - I didn't leave out the 'are', that's how they state it. Every correspondence I've had has little/no punctuation, correct grammar, spelling etc. Initially they sent me the wrong part - it was for the opposite side of the van I was working on. They accepted the return and "sent another item" to me. That "item" arrived in a USPS box, not a Honda box, with NO indication whatsoever that it was Honda OEM. No sticker, no part number, nothing. I installed the part (door latch actuator) and it did not function- it does not latch the door. CHP responded to my request to exchange the part by saying I had to take it to a Honda dealership for diagnosis. I live 42 miles from a Honda dealership. I won't waste space here describing the inconveniences of coordinating a drop-off/pickup of the van at the dealership. Sadly, the Honda shop was as inept as CHP with the technician assigned to my door latch having never attained any formal Honda or auto mechanic education (lack of workers in ND). The end result of 3 trips to the dealership was the inept lad stating that there was "grease" in the latch actuator that caused it to fail. When I installed the actuator from CHP (with no Honda or OEM markings), I noticed assembly lube on the mechanism, but no grease. The inept tech stated that due to the grease, the part has failed and is not under warranty. I submitted all of this (and much more) data to CHP and in their ridiculous grammar responded that they would do nothing. I have been working on vehicles since 2000, and previously held 5 ASE Certifications as an automotive technician. I have never seen or experienced such inept, non-customer service-related interactions as I have during this experience. I have no desire to be a loudmouth trash talker of CHP to obtain likes. I simply wish no-one else to go through the excruciatingly painful and frustrating experience that I have gone through by unwittingly choosing to do business with CHP. They have refused a refund or exchange on a clearly faulty part and have absolutely no desire (or perhaps it's no idea) to provide any level of customer service. The amount of time (over the course of many weeks) I've spent on this interaction with CHP and still have an unusable van door for my kids to utilize is uncanny. However, I'm not facing starvation, living in a war zone or dealing with a terminal illness. So perspective is important. Just save yourself the frustrations I have dealt with and look elsewhere for your Honda parts.

No cancellations terrible return policy, on an incorrect item.

I placed an order for a part, realizing after the fact i ordered the incorrect part i reached out to support to cancel the item, it took them 2 days to respond saying it has shipped and couldnt be returned, i asked for the tracking number, another 24 hours later they provided it, i ran the tracking number hadnt even been picked up yet. when i reached out to return, I was told I have to pay shipping and a 20% restock fee, on an item that couldve been cancelled. I finally got the restock fee waived and ended up paying 27$ to ship back an item that originally cost me 57$, I will buy only from ebay from now on free returns and no restocking fee. Very dissapointed in this company.

They refuse to take responsibility for an error in merchandize from the company

I ordered several items the most important was a low beam head light bulb for my Honda Accord Sport; I had entered all the information required to hopefully get to the correct part; year make and model of car with VIN #. In addition, I attempted to call before placing this order and no answer and call was never returned. Also, I had emailed them twice through their website before placing the order to confirm the part was correct...33115-584-A01.
I feel like their web-site failed to direct me to the correct part/ or they packaged it incorrectly; the part is obviously not the correct (shape etc) Honda part, nor is it the same as the picture on the website.

I wish they would of taken responsibility to make it right , but they refused too make the effort. Not a good business tactic......

Great customer service

I ordered a set of ball joints for my accord since they had the best price. I was in no rush and just gathering parts for a major suspension overhaul. Something happened during shipping and the ball joints were lost so I only received an empty box. I sent an email and the immediately sent me another set of ball joints. They arrived quickly. Awesome customer service I will be buying more parts from them in the future.

Total fraud

Total fraud. Supplied VIN number for part fitment, said it would fit, it didn't. Sent part back and only got partial refund. Emailed over a week ago and still NO answer on rest of my refund. Do not do business with these people. I will go back to Ebay where I can get money back, hassle free returns.

Shysters, through and through

I echo the review by Lisa McLaurin. No good search, no phone number. Sent the wrong part, was told to just return it then received an email that they would not honor a refund despite all the proper packaging being provided.. This is actually a Honda dealership in Michigan working a side hustle. Further cements my view of dealerships. AVOID..the couple of bucks is not worth it.

Fraudulent Business: Don’t risk it

Don’t risk it. They sent me incorrect parts. I emailed asking for return instructions. They said to simply send it back. No further instructions. I included a copy of the original invoice. NOW they say they will not issue a refund because a red Honda label is missing - a label that was not on the parts to begin with. When I placed the order I submitted the exact automobile information straight from my original purchase documents so I could be certain the information was correct. THEY made the mistake. THEY refuse to refund my money. This is beyond bad business: This is FRAUD.

My view on this e-Commerce business.

Solid business with good reputation and commitment. Only issues I have is with the few options that are available in regards to shipping. As a e-Commerce business I believe in today’s market you need options for your customers and ways on building solid relationships. Doing this drives more business in your direction. This puts you first. Being first wins in this crazy on line world.
Having a good product at a great price is fine but you need options. Too many businesses out there are competing for their share of the pie. People shop product, price, shipping options. If any of these are out of the ball park people will continue to surf till they find a better deal. Like most search engines tell you. People surf one or three pages of info and then pull the trigger. You don’t want to be on the fourth page.

I really recommend this site to buy genuine parts for Honda cars. I resently bought a set of Ebrake cables and they are really as I was expecting very good quality. They were also shipped on time.
