Had cheaper waste doing my refuse collection at a pub I used to own three years back and will totally endorse the reviews of most of the people who have posted on here they are full of lies and devious how the he'll they keep in business is beyond belief they have even managed to block my previous review take my advice and keep away from them completely useless

This company is a Scam, Please please don't be fooled. They one of the worst company I have came across. Excess charge when its not over weight. Subcontract with Biffa. Drivers themselves confirms the scale not working and they adamant they check their trucks before they leave from the site. When you ask them to come to the site and check themselves then they don't do site visits.. Absolutely disgusting Company.. Ripping small businesses in such a difficult times. Never ever recommend this company and they should be shut down. Scammers

Instead to cancel they are reaping people off

They charge excess weight when the bin is empty. They don't answer there phones after several calls. When given notice to end the contract by email they take legal action to obtain "debt", given no debt has incurred.

No consideration but to scam people out of their money.

Please don't be fooled by the fake positive reviews.

Avoid this company at all costs!!! They don't collect your bins. When the rubbish finally builds up to the point you cancel and use Biffa bins (perfect btw, highly recommended), Cheaper waste say it's not their fault as they subcontract it out. They then charge you "out of contract termination fee"..it's a total scam. Please, do yourself a favour, avoid at all costs. I only wish I could leave a negative star review.

Been with them for two years, not by choice.
My first issue with them as the amount of so called excess weight I was charged each time. I was so suspicious I weighed it myself and insure that I was under my limit. I still got charged, tried challenging it, was told that they cannot be wrong because there are weights on the trucks, nothing I can do, but wait for my contract with them end.
Contacted them a month before my contract ended, was told that I would have to give 6 months of notice, and they have renewed my contract for another year.

I have never came across a company that not only rolled you over into a new contract without you signing, but to give notice 6 months in advance. I was told it was to insure waste is collected at all times, already explained that I had a better provider that I have used for other businesses, ready to take over, but they refuse to let me go.

This year, I was prepared to contact them in February 2022 to give them enough notice. Was told that it was fine, and a few times they tried calling me to change my mind. I refused.

It is now my last month with them and they are playing little games, my bank account changed so I explained that I will be paying using card from now on until my contract ends.

Last week I paid off my bill about £170, great, nothing outstanding!
this week missed collection, contact them told me that my account is on hold as there is an outstanding amount of £63, and collection won’t resume until this was paid off.
Explained to them that I paid off my bill only last week, and even if a week’s collection added up to £63 surely they should have provided me with more time to pay it?
They told me that the invoice was generated on the Monday the 11th of July, for the excess waste for the month of June, and I did not pay it, my collection, the very next day on the 12th was suspended, so I only had less than 24hr to pay off a bill. If the excess waste payment was that important, and I have missed 4 weeks’ worth, surely it should have been taken on the same day I paid off my bill last week?

Just made the £63 payment today, and now waiting for a collection date, and I was told that due to the missed collection, to expect another bill with excess weight as we now have over 3 days’ worth of waste, shocker.

I hate writing bad reviews, as we are all trying hard to continue with work due to the increase of prices as well as Covid, but these shady practices is why I am leaving this review as well as leaving the company.
STAY AWAY from Cheaper Waste or whatever new name they rebranded to.

The worst company I have ever experienced, all the bad reviews are completely true. They pay trustpilot to remove bad reviews as well. Two of mine about this company have already been removed. This is despite the appallingly abysmal service and a court summons being chased against me for services they never delivered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We was not aware that our bin collection had been terminated by Mountain Waste, until they just turned up to remove the bins. I was immediately on the phone to Cheaper Waste, who was also not aware of the actions of Mountain Waste. Cheaper Waste, then took control of the situation without any fuss. We have now got new bins, and the issue was sorted very quickly.

I spoke to Anne who was extremely helpful with my queries and am now happy to remain with your company. Thankyou for your help . Very much appreciated Gwen

Not even 1 star.. Bab that’s the only word.. rip you off for extra charges, weightage when the bin if half full with water.. average bill over £300 a month..absolutely dog crap

I have had problems with the waste company (Lili waste)that they use, but they have sorted it, more swiftly than last time much improved service, seem to have more professional staff .

Poor customer services and management!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this company at all costs. No idea what the WasteManaged company that has taken over will be like. I can't think that they will be any better, as same company different name is all. I ceased my contract which ended in April. I have phoned, emailed, sent tickets to the customer services and it has taken 12 weeks to get their bin removed from my property. I now only have 3 outstanding billing issues to resolve and then I may be free from these muppets. But they have over charged me and I cannot get my money back as I am going round and round in circles in their complaints system, with no opportunity to escalate or talk to a manager or anyone that makes any sense. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Do not use this company you have been warned!!!
Emptied my bin twice then left it for months and charged me then came and took my bin away and tried to charge me for it. I now have a CCJ against my name for £1,200 and only had the bin emptied twice. They lie speak to you like dirt and rob you horrible company but they’ve not heard the last of it I’ll have the last laugh..

Do not use this company... They are rubbish! & They will charge you & not collect your bins!

If I could possibly give 0 stars I would. This company have lied through their back teeth, broke contractual obligations and had the cheek to charge all their customers a "one off charge" because their management doesn't have a grip on their costs. They also told me when they were rebranding because they were asking me to change companies I was entitled to leave - then hit me with a massive early termination fee. They won't be getting a penny, I'll see you in court! Do not touch them nor their rebranded affiliates of Waste Managed or "Commercial Experts" stick to waste management from the council or an ACTUAL waste management company direct.

A bunch of thieves, Dont supply the service they contract to, then charge you anyway, when you dispute it they just try and take you to court. This Company has had to change its name to "Waste managed Limited"

Avoid both companies like the plague.
Go direct pay more, save money!
