It sounds as though you may have selected an "alternate date" that was offered because it was cheaper and didn't notice it when you clicked on the selected flight, so when you called to correct it, the date you actually wanted was more expensive so you have to pay the applicable difference in airfare. Disappointed..
I booked flights for my father and sister from Tehran to Toronto through CheapOair.
The airline canceled the first leg of the trip (Tehran to Istanbul), making the entire itinerary impossible to use. Yet CheapOair refused to immediately cancel and refund the second leg of the flight, saying they were “waiting for authorization” from the other airline.
This makes absolutely no sense. If passengers cannot even get to Istanbul because the first flight was canceled, how are they supposed to board the second flight?
It has now been 3 days since my last phone call with no resolution or update.
Today I called again and waited on hold for over 30 minutes with nobody answering.
Meanwhile, replacement tickets for the same route have already increased by over $250 PER PERSON because of the delay.
This situation has caused unnecessary stress, financial damage, and wasted time. Extremely disappointing customer service when dealing with a flight disruption.
P.S:How do I prove to you that it’s my valid experience with you?

I have a condition after my stroke and I mixed up the destinations got then backwards and by the time I realized it the CheapOair said I have to buy a new ticket. The company had no compassion for disabled clients period will not recommend your company as I have been a client for 5 years and this is to bad.

Thank you for your feedback. Our apologies for the inconvenience, but the ticket you bought is a basic economy and is the most restrictive therefore no refunds, changes or credits are offered. Those are the airline fare rules and as a travel agency we have to follow those fare rules. We regret your experience was not satisfactory.
