Dear CHEAP SG Management,
I am writing to make a sincere appeal regarding our recent request to cancel flight tickets purchased through your platform. Due to my father's sudden medical condition, we are unable to proceed with our travel plans. We have already submitted a medical memo from the attending doctor to support our case.
However, we were informed that cancellation would still incur a high penalty fee. This places us in a very difficult position. We also reached out to T’way, who advised us that as the tickets were purchased through CHEAP SG, the cancellation must be handled by your team. Unfortunately, this back-and-forth has only added more stress during an already emotional time for our family.
What troubles us most is that the penalty fee through CHEAP SG is significantly higher than what the airline itself would have charged if we had booked directly. We understand that there are policies in place, but we had hoped for some understanding and flexibility in light of a genuine medical emergency.
We respectfully ask that you review our case once more and consider granting a waiver or significantly reducing the penalty, given the circumstances. It would mean a great deal to us, and it would reflect positively on CHEAP SG’s values of care and customer support.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I sincerely hope your team can offer some form of support

Felt cheated as price increased suddenly at time of payment without any intimation that there is an increase in fare due to type of card used for payment. Unfair and unprofessional

Airline informed me that my booking was made incorrectly and that there was no e-ticket associated with my booking. I tried to contact CheapTickets.sg but the only option was to receive a response within 5 working days as their hotline does not work. Had to rebook on a later flight at a much higher cost. Avoid this booking service.
They responded saying that they will contact me within 2 days. 5 days on and no reply. Possible Scam

Refund on 5Apr25 after being informed on 29Mar25 of confirmed cancellation due to airline rescheduled not meeting my need.
Keep up with the responsiveness. Rebook my flights with them..

CheapTicket Singapore has one of the worst user interfaces (UI) I’ve encountered. There is no proper confirmation prompt before finalizing a cancellation, making it too easy for users to accidentally cancel a booking without realizing the consequences.
To make things worse, when I immediately contacted their customer service within minutes to undo the cancellation, they refused to assist, claiming it was already processed. How can a system be so rigid that it doesn't allow even a grace period for quick reversals?
On top of that, they take 8–10 weeks to process refunds, and in my case, they even denied any refund, despite knowing they would receive the amount from the airline. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam.
Avoid CheapTicket at all costs! Their poor system design and terrible customer service make them unreliable and untrustworthy.

This company has some serious problems with their process. Staff don’t even know their own T&C.
My extended family booked a ticket of 4 for a trip in October this year together. Unfortunately as I had a surgery doctor’s advise is to not travel for this year. However cheap tickets chose not to refund my extended family their air tickets even though your T&C states that refund is possible for family members.
There were many email exchanges because their number listed is not even working (sus for a company), different staffs reply every time and staffs asking for my marriage cert, my wife’s birth cert since we are not in the booking as we booked directly from the airlines. My extended family booked from cheap tickets and also were subjected to submitting their birth cert to proof that there were related to my wife and me and yet received an email to say refund not allowed when another staff asked to provide these documents and refund is possible.
Get your staff to wake up and understand your own T&C, a mistake buying through your platform but causing us so much administrative issues.
Want to raise awareness for other to avoid using this platform. Save some money but get such crappy service.

Booking is simple, as compare with other online platform. Also provide multiple option .

This was the first time I used this platform. Checked and found out that it was based in Singapore hence should be trust worthy. Hope it will continue to offer competitive tickets. Booking was also quick and easy and I could find the booking in the airline's website right away.

My email was fraudulently used by a fraudster as there is no email verification when someone opens an account. Please improve the security of your sign ups. However, the staff has been responsive to the email correspondence.

I felt like being con during my recent flight booking from Helsinki to Stockholm via Norwegian Airlines. I’m very sure that the 8:15am flight cost S$64.00 with one Checked Baggage shown on my computer. I countered check with my mobile phone. It cost S$84.80 with tax (S$13.60) for the same fight itinerary and also included one checked baggage. I afraid the price might change again. I quickly confirmed my booking also added Automated check-in S$8.80 and Service Package Premium S$15.00, total cost S108.60. However, after making the payment with my ApplePay, the E-ticket appears the Checked Baggage is NOT included.
I tried to add additional baggage on Norwegian Airlines website but not allowed and was told to referred back to Cheaptickets. I have contacted Cheaptickets consumer service, with a screenshot of the ticket price via both email and phone calls. The replied was they can’t make any changes and asking me to contact Norwegian Customer Service. I did call Norwegian Customer Service, only got the machine replied and then cutoff my line, as my booking was not directly from Norwegian Airlines.
I really disappointed on the Cheaptickets booking system which I ever satisfied during my previous booking in last year. It taught me a lesson that in future I will rather book the tickets directly from the airlines than the travel agents.

competitive air tickets however the customer service is really bad! My issue has not been resolved despite repeating using the agent chat function. each time they said my problem has been escalated and someone will update within 24-48hrs. But been so many weeks, I did not receive any update from them.

I had an awful experience with CheapTicket.sg (Refund Request for Booking CSG-6621142). After booking the flight for my mother, I encountered an issue that required their assistance. However, the follow-up was beyond frustrating. I reached out multiple times via email (both my mother's and mine) and even used their online chat function, but each time I was either ignored or given generic responses with no real help. I used my email and provided screenshots to assist with my mother's flight cancellation from Tway, as it was a low-cost carrier. Yet, CheapTicket.sg's chat assistant kept saying to wait and that "something will happen," but nothing did.
I even sent daily chaser emails, simply asking for an acknowledgement of the issue or if they needed any clarification. But still, no proper response or resolution. We know we would receive less money in return after the admin fees for the flight cancellation, but all we wanted was some clarity or guidance on how to proceed. It’s as if once they have your money, they don’t care about providing any kind of meaningful support.
I had to resort to writing a review to hopefully get some response. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
