Vaguely Disturbing
I was prescribed a compounded cream for Melasma by a MFA Dermatologist. Great! As now I have one product instead of three. However, I noticed the date of recommended use was 6/12 to 7/12. One month for a 30 gm tube. The weight was in grams. So say three generous travel size (not airline) tubes of toothpaste? I called Chemistry Rx and was told after a month efficacy is not guaranteed. I asked why does the company not sell the product in smaller tubes. For $75 a tube what do I do? Throw it away? Hope the date is wrong? Hope it works as I diligently apply on face? I mean when this cream is compounded it is most likely for the face. Even if my face was elephant size or three it would take longer than 4 weeks to finish. I am cross and feel there is something vaguely unethical here. I left a Google review too.
