Insufficient Quantity as labelled!
I purchased a bottle of Go Health Glucosamine 1-A-DAY 90 Tablets on 20 May 2024.
The seal was intact, no sign of being peeled.
Within a month taking the product as instructed, now is having only 15 tablets left in the bottle that made me wonder if it was a bad batch from Go Health.
Complaints sent to alert Chemist Warehouse on the 2nd of July, 2024.
One of its staff replied, nothing he/she could do as the bottle has been opened. No replacement incurred😭.
How could I tell how many tablets correctly supplied without opening the bottle & counting them at the beginning?
Watch out for this manufacturing mistake, if not cheating customers 😭🙏
And the staff didn't even say that they would try to contact & inform Go Health Company of this problem either 👎👊
Charged but not received
When you are charged for items that were not packed, it's extremely poor service. They have tried to blame the courier but the package arrived missing an item. They mucked up, tried to place blame elsewhere and I'm left paying for an item I have never received. Communication is slow, I am chasing up, terrible service!
Online store & Customer Service terrible
The CW online store appears to be garbage. I ordered some items which required shipping from Australia, which according to the tracking number have remained in limbo in Auckland for nearly one month. I sent an enquiry to CW to find out what the delay was, and I received an unapologetic and utterly unhelpful response from their ironically named “Customer Service Team”. Most of the email was taken up by various statements absolving CW of any responsibility for everything and anything.
No apology was made, or further assistance regarding the order was offered. I have never encountered such terrible customer service.
See below:
“As per agreed Terms and Conditions before dispatching, you have agreed Chemist Warehouse has no control over International Customs or International Postal Operations once it has left the country.
Chemist Warehouse also take no responsibility for damaged items or items claimed to be missing.
Chemist Warehouse will not refund any international orders where such claims are made.
We recommend such claims are placed with your local customs and or postal service.
If your parcel is returned to our warehouse, we will offer to resend it to a domestic Australian address.”
Its all gone bad!
Oh no Chemist Warehouse - what has happened to you? Multiple orders recently have had items that were cancelled as not available and that is when I was actually able to get to put something in my cart for delivery. Too many items are In Store only and Henderson store seems to have no stock at all. Recently looking for a reasonably priced fragrance to click and collect but gave up after first 25 (yes that twenty five) items were not available in Henderson. Please can you set up your website better so people can select their store or for delivery then just show what is available. Just cannot be bothered trolling through to not be able to shop. Emails to customer service go unanswered. Sadly there is now more competition who are much more efficient and have easier to use websites that I will shop with in future.
purchased a few items on the Saturday…
purchased a few items on the Saturday including a pack of disposable cloves. It was one of the assistants who gave them to me but when i tried them on at home they were to small. So took them back for exchange BUT was told we don,t do that because i have opened them. So no refund no exchange or anything. Phoned Head office and it took a day and a half to say the same thing. Will not be shopping there anytime soon. Beware.
Happy Customer
I put in an order online on Sunday evening and received my well packed parcel at 8.15am Tuesday morning via NZ Post. Great service. Fast Delivery. Delivery fee was only $5. Very happy.
Turtle paced processing of online orders.
Chemist Warehouse online orders are yet again painfully slow ( 4 time) to be processed.
Whilst pricing is fair if you in a hurry for items don't bother ordering online from them.
They offer everything online but never actually have ready for shipping.
Omron Hem-7144T1 blood monitor $129.99 faulty.
We purchased an Omron Hem-7144T1 blood pressure monitor. After a week of consistent 'out of range' readings I went to my doctor. I was worried something might be wrong with my blood pressure. I told him about the Omron readings so he checked my BP twice, once when I got there and again before I left. Thankfully both were fine and in normal range. He made the comment 'ditch the Omron'. We took it back to Chemist Warehouse Te Rapa Hamilton. After explaining about the consistently 'out of range' low and high readings, and about going to my doctor and getting perfect BP readings, we asked if they had another similar product we could swap it for. They didn't so we asked for a refund. Here's where all the drama started. The assistant was gone for ages (probaby testing it out the back). Then he comes back and tells us it's normal to have differing readings during the day. We explained it wasn't normal to have them off the charts abnormal every time. He said we were probably not doing it correctly so we suggested that we use the display model to show how we were doing it in the correct manner. We were all abit taken aback when the display model showed very high readings so the assistant placed the cuff around my arm and tried again. Once again the reading showed a completely different out of range reading. By this stage we were convinced the monitors were faulty. We asked for a refund. After disappearing again for ages he returned to say they couldn't refund until they had sent it back to the manufacturer to check. We said we purchased it through Chemist Warehouse,
it was their duty to refund us and deal with the manufacturer themselves. They refused that and said they would get back to us in a couple of days. I had to call them a week later. They still wouldn't process a refund and said they would get the manufacturer to call me instead. I refused this form of communication and reiterated this was their job to liase with them not ours. It's now been a month and they have not contacted me to resolve this situation nor have we received a refund. We are fed up with their shocking service, or should I say, disservice. By the looks of many of their other reviews, we are not the only customers they've treated with callous disdain. Why should we have to put up with this ill treatment. Maybe it's time to show businesses that money talks. Spend your hard earned $$ where you count as a valued customer and are treated with respect and dignity.
Prices are good but their delivery is…
Prices are good but their delivery is sooo slow (which I'd forgive if they gave free delivery on orders over a certain amount but they don't seem to as my orders have near the $80 mark). Fine if you want to buy a bottle of perfume but pretty hopeless if you want medical supplies. You'd be over the ailment before the order arrives
Worse experience at a chemist ever
Worse experience at a chemist ever. Ask three different staff where I could find an item, and the best person pointed in one direction! Thats it! They all should be ashamed and Fired. Thanks Frazer Cove chemist warehouse!
Poor Customer Services
Bought items online and deliberately went over $50 for free delivery as at the time it was more convenient to have delivered due to work commitments. Received an email saying Shampoo were on backorder. I rung up to find out why they were on backorder because Botany had them in stock and they were my closest store. Was told that online orders came from their warehouse, not store. I have received items from stores in the past. Anyhow waited 3 weeks and they have cancelled order to say they are unable to get. This is a shampoo that they always seem to have in stock so instead of asking if I'm happy to wait a bit longer, they cancel. Now it is over twice the price I paid. Had I known in the first week this would be the case I would have made an effort to go to Botany to buy at the same price I paid online. I have asked if they would email me something to say I could purchase the 2 at the same price as what I paid and I would take that to Botany, so I got the same price (like a Raincheck that Countdown offers), however they aren't replying to that email. Luckily I have a backup of Bargain Chemist who I will now start purchasing from. If Chemist Warehouse are going to treat customers like this, then they don't deserve me as a customer. If items are not available online then you need to adjust your website to reflect this, "not available for delivery".
Yesterday (27/4/2024) I bought 1…
Yesterday (27/4/2024) I bought 1 Bioderm ATOD S/OIL 1 LT. The price displayed on the shelf was $38.24 but when I paid at the checkout I was charged $44.99. As I walked out of the door I checked the invoice I noticed I was overcharged. If I had not checked the invoice I would not have noticed being overcharged. I always shop at Chemist Warehouse but this is the first time I had checked the invoice. Now I am wondering how many times I have paid more than the price shown on specials. I am writing this so that all the shopers check what they pay for and not just be fooled the price that is shown on soe isls.
I'm sure that this is not the first…
I'm sure that this is not the first review where returning perfume has resulted in a bad review. My experience. My son bought me a perfume from South City chemist warehouse, was not advised of your returns policy , for my birthday. One week later I returned the unopened product as i don't wear it to be told no returns for perfume are allowed, despite advising that I wanted to exchange it, not refund it but to top up another perfume costing $70 more.
Chemist warehouse you should be ashamed of yourselves! This was my birthday present which will not be used.
Being my go to suffice to say that i will not be using your services for the foreseeable future and will of course spend my dollars with your competition, Bargain Chemist. Your policy is not clearly advertised for all to see in store and my son was not advised of your policy at purchase ..if he had been he would not of purchased...(policy is in small print on receipt-I didn't see it).
Finally I do hope that you lose business as a result of my review, buyers beware!
Incompetent and couldn't care less
Bought a produce for well over $100. Turned out to be faulty. Went to return it, were told that there was a review process. After three weeks, and at least three return trips, were told to sort it out with the producer and that we would only get vouchers in return. Absolutely no contact during the three weeks, the final visit took almost an hour of waiting around.
Nice experience, extra gift after a minor delay, and very low costs …
Nice experience shopping online from chemist warehouse! When one product was just slightly delayed, they sent a gift to make up for it: a little jar of Rosehip skin cream, a lovely product that I wouldn't usually be able to afford, so it's the perfect treat.
They also occasionally offer coupons, and I was able to add several low-cost basics to an order this way. Even without counting the perks, I find chemist warehouse still cheaper than anywhere else, and it's the only one with a large range of products in my small town so ... thankyou :-)

I spent a fortune on my fav perfumes purchased at other reliable stores wanted to give ChemWarh a go… perfumes are FAKE Chinese ripoffs
Bought a perfume which I did not…
Bought a perfume which I did not realise was defective, but because I did not return it within 7 days they won't replace it even though there is no smell to the perfume!!!
Be aware of being overcharged - personal experience of this a few times
Purchased 5 items today & worked out in my head cost was around $90. Cashier said $152. I questioned that & he couldn't explain the difference 2 me. He re-scanned the 5 items, total was $92. This has happened before to me. Phoned later to provide them with feedback, man seemed totally uninterested. They've lost a good customer.
Useless
Four business days (plus a weekend!) and they haven't even PROCESSED my order yet.
