Nikki was helpful and easily to reach via WhatsApp from the onset.
Transferring the placenta via the post service was easier than I thought it would be and Nikki kept us up to date throughout - when she received the placenta and once the products had been sent to us, which was a very quick turnaround.
A lovely independent business which I am happy I have supported.
Would highly recommend if you’re thinking about placenta encapsulation.

Service provided by Nikki was amazing from the start, the WhatsApp channel was great. All my questions were answered and the prices were the best I could find. Placenta instructions and pick were super straightforward.
It’s hard to say if the placenta capsules make any difference as it’s my first baby so I don’t know any different. What I will say is that my 6 week postpartum blood test came back the highest it’s ever been in iron and b12 and I have to wonder if that’s down to the placenta encapsulation as this is the only thing that’s changed. Love the balms and oils - just a lovely experience all round. Thank you Nikki!

Nikki was so helpful with any questions I had and I received the tablets within 2 days of sending my placenta off. The hospital j ew what to do and I informed them before my planned c section. I feel I healed quicker due to the tablets as I did not experience much post birth pain and issues as I have heard others describe.

I had been told about placenta encapsulation and wanted to give t a go, I'm very glad I trusted Nikki and Cherished Placentas as the service and products are excellent. Nikki is lovely to deal with, she always answered very quickly on WhatsApp and provided clear instructions for my husband to follow. I truly believe that the capsules and tincture have helped me postpartum as I've had so much energy, even with broken sleep, I've been amazed! I was always worried about postpartum depression but have not suffered from any of that and have felt great, so I'd definitely use this service again. The only negative is I wish they'd offer pick-up from hospital as I ended up having a complicated birth and was in hospital for a week, but my husband had to drive home at 3AM to drop off my placenta as the hospital wouldn't store it.

Nikki is absolutely amazing and provides an excellent system and service. The communication is great, and instructions are clear and simple. Even for dads who are stressing in amongst the chaos of labour and delivery of your baby lol. Would absolutely recommend! My capsules arrived today and I am so excited to start my journey ( I did not do this for my previous 2 babies so I will be back with another review when I have finished all of my capsules!) the cord being dried into a love heart was a lovely surprise in the package too. Will absolutely be framing that :-)

Nikki was lovely to deal with from start to finish and very passionate about what she does. She is on hand and responds very quickly. I had an emergency c section and I was in hospital for 1 week so it was difficult to try and organise everything with the postage. She was great about it all and got it sorted for me quickly and I was able to have my smoothies while
recovering in hospital. I will 100% do it again when im ready for my next baby. Shes a star x

I was really impressed with how quick the service was, I was contacted almost immediately and given very clear instructions to follow. This is my third baby and I definitely noticed the difference in my recovery and energy levels this time round. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous service! Nikki was so lovely to deal with & prompt at replying to any questions and queries I had. The whole process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I had some complications at birth and was concerned how it may affect my placenta, but Nikki was so helpful & patient whilst I waited for confirmation from the hospital. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking to get placenta encapsulation. The other products in the bundle smelt lovely & are natural too. I use the baby balm on my little one as a nappy rash prevention and so far, so good! Thank you again xxx

I was recommended Nikki through a friend who has used her products for both births. I was open to the idea for my first due to my thyroid challenges and difficult pregnancy.

I can’t recommend Nikki’s more. She was incredibly helpful along the way, especially just after birth when I couldn't think straight. If I’m lucky enough to have a second I’ll be doing the same again.

I was desperate to try the placenta encapsulation with my third baby. Unfortunately she was very unwell at birth and although the placenta was kept I completely forgot to contact Nikki until the following morning. Nikki was amazing and advised how we could preserve the placenta. Nikki then came and met us at the hospital within half an hours notice and collected the placenta. The products I had ordered were delivered quickly and were beautifully presented. Although it was my third baby there were a lot of unexpected complications and I didn’t have time to heal from the birth as needed to be with my baby in NICU. I strongly believe the capsules helped speed up my recovery both mentally and physically. The balm I had ordered has been amazing not only for using on my baby but also my other children especially my eldest with her eczema. Nikki was so kind in checking in with us during my recovery and went over and above to ensure I was able to receive the products I had ordered. I would highly recommend Cherished Placentas to anyone who is thinking about having their placenta encapsulated.

I’m so pleased I chose Nikki at Cherished Placenta to create my capsules. The service from start to finish was so attentive that I felt really reassured I had picked the right person.
I worried the process would be complicated with making sure it was packaged correctly but it all arrived with very clear instruction that my husband also felt comfortable being in charge.
I had my baby on the Thursday and I had my tablets back by the Sunday!!! It was so speedy.
I suffer with low iron and had to have infusion during pregnancy. I only took my placenta tablets and vitamin d and my iron levels have never stayed so consistent. I felt like I had a lot of energy too even though I had a new born. I also didn’t experience emotional ups and downs.
I wouldn’t hesitate to get tablets from Nikki again during my next pregnancy as I truly believe they helped with my quick recovery after birth.

I wanted to try this as I wanted to protect my mental health post partum as well as the many other benefits such as milk supply. I also think the packages are more affordable than other companies. I had the 50/50 method and I definitely noticed a difference in my mood and my milk supply was great when I was breast feeding. The service was really quick from start to finish and felt very personal. My daughter is now 5 months old and I felt the products really helped me. Totally recommend making the decision to use Cherished Placenta's.

My experience with Nikki at cherished placenta has been nothing short of amazing. Nikki was thorough in explaining the process and packaging and was on hand to answer any questions that came up. That aside I believe the 50/50 capsules I ordered were the key to a smooth postnatal journey and I would recommend this to any mum to be. I didn’t experience any baby blues and milk came in quickly. I felt energised and when I did sleep I felt well rested even with the short naps in the first few weeks If I have another baby I will definitely be using cherished placentas again.

Would 10000% recommend, I really struggled with the baby blues at first, the day 3 hormone drop really hit me hard, but as soon as I started taking the capsules I felt so much better!!! I definitely noticed on the days I forgot to take them I would feel so tired and emotional! I had quite a traumatic delivery and I was really upset that I didn’t get to do delayed cord clamping or see my partner cut the cord, I really grieved my pregnancy once it was over, so when I received my capsules it felt like I had a bit of my pregnancy back, and when the cord came back it felt like a little part of me had healed, Nikki was amazing throughout and even checked how I was doing after labour 💞 my only regret is not getting more placenta products! … I will absolutely be doing this again with my next child :) thank you so much Nikki x
