I own 2 chickenguard doors and they have been great. When one started to have an issue their support was prompt and they honor their warranty as you would expect.

I emailed in, looking for help as our string has broken on our chicken guard door (which I highly recommend) Tracy was very quick at getting back to me and very helpful.

I love Chicken Guard! Both the product and the company.
I have the All in One model. I was impressed with the ease of setup and installation (my hole cutting was less impressive :D). The dependability of the door definitely reduced my stress over going to work (night job) and sleeping in.
I had a problem with the solar panel and the customer service team was quickly responsive and helpful.

They were very helping in resolving a faulty component with my unit. Great customer care and assistance with my issue. It’s a reliable and essential machine for one’s chicken with predators lurking so it’s helpful when they find a solution quickly for you, which they did for me. Many thanks

This is our second ChickenGuard. After years using the first issue we upgraded to the new model. Through the horrid heat of summer and the cold and icy snow of winters this door opener protected our chickens and saved their owners from treacherous terrain and forgetful minds. Thanks for a truly great product!

I've had the Chicken Guard Extreme for around 8 years running on batteries. It was a fantastic and reliable device. Unfortunately the Lux sensor failed and I had to resort to setting an open and close time, this ran for around 1 year before it finally gave up. I decided to purchase another one but they no longer make them, instead they've combined a couple of models and made the Pro. I also decided to order the power cable so I could run it from the mains. On arrival I setup the new door opener, calibrated. The door was open and I went to do something else. On passing I noticed the door was shut, and I couldn't manually open it. I had to recalibrate again. The door opened and as I walked away it slowly descended. Turns out the new improved Pro couldn't handle the door weight my Extreme lifted for 8 years.
My other concern is the mains adaptor supplied to save me on batteries just plugs into the bottom of the opener, no environmental protection, on the outside of the opener. This is open to driving rain, mist and other weather scenarios! I'd at least have expected the plug area to be protected. I don't hold much hope on this lasting as long as my Extreme especially in Scottish weather!

I recently bought my second ChickenGuard door, having been delighted by the first one. Unfortunately I was unable to get it to work when I first installed it, but Tracey and Meribel on the customer support team were incredibly friendly and helpful, and my door is now installed and functioning! If I could give 0 stars, I would.
The WORST customer service in the world. Supposedly they give 3 years of warranty. Tried to claim it since I had it for 6 months. After 23 months and 11 emails/tries to get warranty they finally responded and then claim I don't have warranty because there's a spider web in a friggin outdoor product. What a lousy, lousy company.

I spent over 200 euros on that thing and it's been faulty since I just got it.

After many mails back and forward the issue was resolved in the end and when it works, it's a great system!

We love our chicken guard auto door!! We have the all-in-one and it stays functioning throughout the winters even in below freezing temps which I’ve found to be a struggle with other solar/battery auto door brands. Customer service is top notch and very responsive so can’t go wrong!

I have been using the all-in-one chicken guard system for one year now. It has been an incredible system. It allows my chickens to enjoy their best chicken life, even on days when I'm unable to let them out in the morning. I have seen numerous knock-offs on the internet, which I would be very reluctant to use, and I would not think they're the same as my original product. I did have a raccoon that chewed through my solar power wire, so I needed to reach out to customer service at one year. I cannot tell you how wonderful that experience was. They immediately got back with me. They offered constructive solutions to my problem and offered to send me another solar panel kit at a very reasonable price. I was able to splice the wires together once it was together. I reached out to them again to confirm that the numbers I was getting as a reading were correct, and they got back to me within a few hours. Wow, that's customer service not heard of in today's world. I'm sure you would not get that kind of customer service with the Chinese knockoffs.

We bought a ChickenGuard in 2023 and were initially happy with it. But after a few months it weirdly started going through batteries very quickly (a set of AAs were only lasting maybe 6 weeks), it was also asking me to recalibrate the door regularly. I thought this was just a quirk of the electronics, but I decided to ask the folks at ChickenGuard if this was 'normal'. After a couple of emails, they sent me a replacement ChickenGuard. I'm very happy to say that it has been functioning perfectly for the past year... on the same set of batteries, and with just the initial door calibration. So, I have gone from being somewhat disappointed to being very happy with the ChickenGuard. All due to the great service from the folks at ChickenGuard. Thank you.

We have been using our new ChickenGuard door for about 4 weeks now and it is BRILLIANT, works perfectly, its great quality - it really does make life with Chickens so much EASIER to manage, Thanks ChickenGuard for a great product and also great customer service. Very smooth experience all round. 10/10

I found the Chicken Guard automatic door I purchased a breeze to install, configure and trust. I bought an accessory I didn't need just in case to save on shipping and they were so helpful in allowing me to return it well beyond the return date, allowing me to keep this out of the landfill and into the hands of someone who can use it. Great to see good customer service does still exsist.

I had ordered a ChickenGuard motor years ago, finally went to hook it up (Had gotten rid of my chickens and got a new flock) Well I wanted to use the motor with permanent power and not use the battery pack. Well the USB cable I ordered from Amazon did not work so I contacted the customer service team at Chicken Guard and thank God I did because Maribel specifically was so helpful I felt like their only customer! She sent me their link to get a USB cable from them, she corresponded with me throughout the process making me feel so comfortable! I am so grateful! Best customer service I’ve had!! I LOVE CHICKEN GUARD! I honestly don’t know where I would be without my automatic chicken door ! It helps me when I need to leave for a weekend trip and I know my chickens are safe ! My door has been through so much it even survived a EF1 tornado when the coop did not ( if you don’t believe me they posted about it 😂) thank you chicken guard !!

I bought a Chickenguard Premium in 2022 and it was a game changer for me. I have a large flock of 50+ hens, all pets, and before I bought this we had a polecat attack as I hadn't been home from work early enough to lock the flock in after dark. The automatic door changed this as I could either set opening/closing times or do it by sensing how dark it is and automatically closing. I'm hoping to buy a second one soon as part of extending our hen run.

Will only ever use chicken guard automatic doors! I set my unit up with a solar adapter and it’s a huge game changer. Very reliable!

The experience with the customercare centre has been almost perfect, they have been fast and responsive, so nothing more to ask to them. Regarding the shipment unfortunately I have asked for a fast shipment, to get the spare parts asap...but 3 days after the tracking number doesn't show any progress.
That's the only thing that didn't work great. The rest 100% positive.

The door itself works very well so far, so the product are built exceptionally well. The customer service is kind and personally responsive which I appreciate greatly!
