DONT BUY CHICLODY

DO NOT BUY ANY DRESSES FROM HERE.
This is by far the worst dress I’ve ever purchased in my life. The material is absolutely not worth the price — it feels like a $10 dress from SHEIN. They’re scamming people, I’m telling you.
I bought this dress for a charity event and even paid extra for express shipping — what a total waste of money.
The photos online look so elegant and beautiful, but the dress I received was completely different! Horrible quality — the seams at the top and bottom were coming apart like some cheap knock-off. How on earth is this supposed to be a dress that costs over $200?
If the CEO has any conscience, they wouldn’t run a business like this.
Save your money — if you’re going to spend over $200, just go to a nearby department store. Lesson learned the hard way. Oh my god I am so mad. If I could give zero star, I would.

I ordered two beautiful dresses. Received the dresses; they were wrinkled and had cheap material for the price. I emailed for a refund and had to wait two weeks to receive the address to send it back. They sent several emails back and forth to get a mailing address, and didn't want to refund me. Beware of ordering from this company, the clothing doesn't look like whats on the web site

A bunch of scammers

A bunch of scammers! I placed an order and then checked the reviews — I wish I had done it earlier. I saw all the awful ratings and realised I was the next victim. I immediately contacted their customer service to cancel my order, but no one is responding. I’m now contacting my bank and reporting this joke of a company.

Beyond horrible at every turn

Update: Sorry, but I stand by what I wrote below. From the initial order, It took so long for your company to acknowledge the fact that I had placed the order ( but there was no problem charging my credit card that day) and then respond to tell me where the order was. I needed one of the dresses for an event and that was why I had purchased the expedited Shipping fee —- Which ended up not being expedited. It barely made it on time, literally by a day, when it should have arrived at least one week before ( if not more).
Your return policy said that I could return it for a complete refund. One of the dresses was perfect… and I told you that I was happy with it, but the other one was a complete disaster and I wanted to return it. Your company starts negotiating with me. I didn’t want it. Period. Not only did your company delay in sending me the return label (which came at the last possible moment in order for me to make the allotted return deadline) , once shipped, your employees could not figure out that the item had actually been returned to your facility (when in fact, the item had already been accepted at your facility for the return). Add to the fact that the credit return I was promised was taking so long that I had to contact my credit card company to help ensure that I got my refund.
Sorry, but there’s no way I’m ever doing business with your company again and I strongly suggest others think twice about working with your company regardless of the products you offer.

Beyond horrible at every turn. The initial shipping of the order...they somehow lost the order...but certainly managed to charge my credit card. Repeated attempts to find out where the dresses were...met with silence...then apologizes...but no real info. FINALLY the dresses show up. One is great...the other...horrible. So I want a complete refund including my expedited fees for shipping. They agree to the refund of the shipping fee...but then start negoiating about the return ..."Well, if you keep it, we will credit you X percent". NO! That's not what I wanted or what you promised. So FINALLY they agree to it but then don't send the info for me to do it. Time is ticking because they have a window of certain number of days and I'm leaving the country so it has to be done by this day. When I threaten that I'm calling my credit card company, all of a sudden, the return comes through. And then you have to jump through hoops about all the info they want about the return...pictures, tracking numbers, etc. Okay...I send it. Then these idiots cannot figure out they have gotten it even after I send them proof it was delivered to the address. NOW...I'm waiting for the $$ to be refunded even though they said they received it and it will be credited. They got one more day before I call Amex.

DO NOT BUY - Terrible Customer Service - Will not

I bought two dresses from Chiclody and only received one crammed into a small package. When I reached out to return the one dress and ask to cancel the other dress, they told me that they had sent both dresses in the original package, which there is no way possible based on the size of the original package. I have sent pictures as requested over TWO weeks ago and still no return address for me to send the one dress back to. I have sent MULTIPLE emails asking for refund and return address and they either don't respond or send some stalling "we are investigating" email. This company is a TOTAL SCAM, will not let you return items and keep stalling and not resolving issues. I wish I never ordered and will NEVER again.

Scam and now cannot get a refund or obtain return address

Terrible experience. I’m now stuck with a dress that looks nothing like the images on the website. I have emailed to query a return and have been advised I will pay postage plus a restocking fee plus No address has been provided to return the item - and the advice given is that “ we recommend keeping the item or they will provide a refund of $17 or a voucher valued at $22”. - it’s likely because that is all the garment is worth ?!! This site is a complete scam - I wish I had read the reviews - please take my advice and avoid. Customer service is non existent and inadequate and surely is in breach of any consumer laws. if I could give zero stars above - I would

Terrible experience do not buy clothes…

Terrible experience do not buy clothes from here!! Poor quality fit and material and when I try to return the dress I am in a cycle of emails where they constantly ask the same questions and evidence (all of which I have already provided!) repeatedly and avoid instructions for a refund. Literally avoiding and extending excuses not to provide refund.

Please please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM…

Please please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM SO CALLED COMPANY. I bought a white suit, it came with no tags, dirt stains, marker stain, and the fabric had black balls on them like they had it in stock forever. Obviously worn.

Back in forth with customer service, well,lack of is more like it. They say they are sorry, send the reason, send the pictures, send this, do this. But no return process to happen.

I will just dispute it with my card company now as I know they are just playing around hoping you give up.

All the praising advertisements are definitely not true. Fabric is like plastic and looks like a ballon. I’m sure they pay ppl to write a few good reviews. Save yourself grief and go to a store. Too much scams online now. By far this company was one of the worst. They should go out of business because they are fraud and goes against any ethical retailer. No pride.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with this company has been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever dealt with as a consumer. I ordered a dress for a maternity photo shoot. It took 45 days to get to me. There was so much back-and-forth between us and the story kept on changing for why my dress was delayed. Then I get the dress. It was terrible quality and not anything like what was described online. The return process was an absolute nightmare. I ended up just doing a dispute with my credit card company. I’m talking there are 20+ emails between us back-and-forth in the end. They still refused to give me a full refund even though they clearly advertise. They do a full refund within 14 days on their website. I truly believe this is a fraudulent company and I would not trust them. I would not support their business you have been thoroughly warned.

Terrible Experience

Terrible Experience – Do Not Buy
I ordered three dresses with express shipping. They arrived a week late and all were far too large. When I exercised my legal right to return them within 14 days, the company refused, claiming a 7-day policy that is against EU consumer law. Instead of sending me a return label, they kept stalling with unnecessary requests for photos. Completely unprofessional and not trustworthy. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Awful company

This company is an awful company. My wife purchased a dress in her normal size but it turned out to be too small. We contacted them in terms of the issue and wanted to return for refund. They said we will custom make you a dress, please send us your measurements and there will be no charge. The "custom" dress they sent was about 4 sizes too big, they obviously did not make a custom dress. When we contacted them they went completely dark on us. So now we are out the cost of the original dress plus the expedited shipping we paid for the 2nd dress. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY

BUYER BEWARE! DON’T BANK ON A REFUND! UPDATE: I didn’t get a partial refund!

On 8/12/2025 I purchased 3 dresses from Chiclody for my daughter’s wedding. The dresses arrived on 8/25/25 but when I tried them on, they were all too small. I contacted the company the very next day to request a return and full refund. The company asked me to try on the dresses and send them pictures to help their “research” team but I feel like they did this to eat up the 14 day return window! BTW, the beautiful pictures on their website don’t match the product! Long story short, customer service responded promptly by email but I still got the run around for a few weeks and had to negotiate for an 80% refund when I should have gotten a 100% refund! I followed all the refund protocol and still couldn’t get what I was entitled to and I’m Still waiting for the refund! Buyer beware…. they don’t want to refund and the product doesn’t match their website pictures so Trust me..you will be Better off buying from that expensive department store bc at least you can get your money back! Guess I’ll be contacting the BBB next if I don’t see the refund on my credit card soon! I will follow up on this site if I hear from Chiclody!

This company stole my money

This company stole my money ! They’re scammers. I ordered a dress with my credit card and when I received the confirmation email it showed a payment to Pay-Pal. I don’t have a Pay-Pal account. I tried canceling the order immediately using the phone they provided for Pay-Pal and it was never answered. I put the dispute with my bank thinking was a way to solve the issue. I received the dress which was a really bad made, bad quality. When I finally managed to send a email to a customer service they gave 5 days to return the dress to my cost with insurance. I pay 20.00 extra . Now they have the horrible dress on time and I haven’t received my 300 dollars . It’s being excuse after excuse. I did took the dispute out since they assured me that I needed to cancel that in order to have my money back. This is beyond scamming.

Do NOT buy from this aite! They advertise a knee length then ahip a mid thigh length dress. I contacted the company within the 14 day refund. They’re giving me the runaround even suggesting I could give the dress to a friend as a nice surprise instead of just sending me a shipping label to return the dress and issue a refund then they offer a 1.3% refund total scam unprofessional company do not buy from them
