Do not order from this site. I have ordered 2 gowns from this site which were NOTHING to what they have posted online. One of the gown the lining was cut above the knees where it shows online fully lined. They are deceiving and are reluctant on refunds.

This product is garbage

This product is garbage. They have mastered the art of misrepresentation. And if you try to return the misshapen, ill-fitting, cheap-looking dresses that fit nothing like the measurements on the website, you’re in for a long fight. And you will lose - they’ll say that this is “customer preference,” not misrepresentation. Well, I do prefer not to wear what looks like a dirty sheet wrapped around my body, pretending it’s a dress. I’m having my credit card company handle it.

Don’t plan on returning anything they won’t take it back. They do not respond.

I received two dresses from this company. Both of the dresses did not fit. Their sizing is very off. I needed to return these after waiting several weeks for them because they come from China and they take forever to receive. Here is what I was offered as a return see the email they sent me.

Hardly what their website says about return policy. Now I’m without a gown to wear for my daughter’s wedding and I have spent over $350 at this company and they have yet to refund me or issue any sort of address or label that allows you to return an item. Do not shop here. The dresses were nothing spectacular either.

Terrible RETURN Process...TERRIBLE

I am in the middle of trying to return an item that was a terrible fit for me. It is a nightmare process. Now reading these reviews, I see I am not alone in what seems like a horrible company. I have learned my lesson. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY if you are just shopping around. You will go through extreme measures to get approval for a full refund (minus return shipping). Extremely long payment processing, poor quality

Extremely long payment processing, your item won’t ship until payment is processed and then the shipping is ridiculously long. I received one dress days before my sisters wedding and the material was that of a Halloween costume. I immediately reached out to Customer Service for instructions on how to return the dress. The second dress arrived days after my sister‘s wedding and was inside out, balled up in the packaging. I also immediately requested a return label. I have been requesting a return for days now only getting the run around from customer service. They only respond in the middle of the night so communication is extremely difficult!

Do not shop here—SCAM + HORRIBLE SERVICE

Do not shop here. The customer service is terrible and the return policies are misleading. I ordered a dress for an event, and it arrived three weeks late — without any proactive communication from the company. I had to reach out myself to get an update, at which point I was told it hadn’t shipped yet. They offered me a 30% discount and promised to ship it immediately if I was still interested. I agreed, thinking I might use it for a different occasion.

When the dress finally arrived, the sizing was completely off and the quality was disappointing. I requested a return and was met with pushback across three separate exchanges, where the customer service rep repeatedly tried to convince me to keep the item — which felt unprofessional and pressuring.

Eventually, I received return instructions (note: you have to pay for return shipping), only to be told I had 7 days to return it — even though the website clearly states a 14-day window.

This experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Poor quality, shady policies, and terrible service. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

As a result, we made the decision to reproduce the dress and ship a new package, which was sent out on July 26th and ultimately delivered on July 31st.

We understand how incredibly stressful this delay must have been. We also sincerely apologize that our customer service replies didn’t provide the clarity you needed — once a package is in transit, it becomes very difficult for us to intervene in real time, though we never intended to come across as dismissive. The order number and tracking information were always available and traceable, and we did our best to monitor things closely on our end.

They are scammers and misleading about returns

They are scammers. They take an image of a real designer dress and remake their own version. Granted, its better quality than some others, but unfortunately its just completely wrong in the sizing and the fit/measurements… by almost 3 sizes.
The website states returns must be requested within 14 days. Ill-fitting dress & it did not arrive in time for the event? And they still refused to honor the return! I am disputing the charge with my credit card company on these grounds and telling everyone I know not to trust them. I asked them to please not be so difficult and dishonest and they just couldnt be decent.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

I purchased a dress from Chiclody based on their advertised 14-day return policy. The dress arrived torn and the dress does not fit as it looks - plus very cheap material. When I tried to return it, well within the allowed window. I was met with repeated delays, evasive communication, and attempts to negotiate or deny the return altogether, despite clearly following all instructions.

This is not just poor customer service, it’s a blatant refusal to honor their own return policy. I can say confidently that this kind of behavior erodes trust and damages brand reputation.

If you are considering ordering from Chiclody, proceed with caution. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect fairness or accountability. I am currently pursuing the issue through formal consumer protection channels and will continue to share this experience to help prevent others from falling into the same trap.

Think twice before ordering from online…

Think twice before ordering from online thieves, what Chiclody is. I’ve ordered from them twice and had the same issue: the clothing was extremely small and I immediately asked for an RMA. Their policy is they will allow returns within 14 days of delivery, providing the item is unused. I’ve spent over a month going back and forth with their “customer service” department in email. First they offer 40% store credit, then 50, then 60%. I refuse to return the merchandise, pay for return shipping and not get my money back for the clothes! I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back.

Chiclody replied to my emails during Asian work hours, so I’m positive their call center is done overseas. That should tell you something in itself.

I will never order from this online company again. They’ve only disappointed me and their clothing is far too tiny compared to US sizing.
Chiclody will not give you your money back on returns. They ignore what you say in email and repeatedly offer less than what we paid.

Don't buy anything here! They are scammers! I received a defective dress. I couldn't wear it because the fabric didn't contain elastane, although the description on the website indicated elastane in the composition. I asked for a refund, and they started offering a discount. When I insisted on a refund, they stopped answering my emails! Fraud! Now I have lost more than 200 euros!

I posted a review here saying how I never received a response from Chiclody about sending a dress too late that I needed to return. It was much different than what is online and cheap material. They responded to my post here saying that they were so sorry and that someone would reach out to me "in the next few days" even though they hadn't responded to any of my other emails to them. They wrote this so they look good, but of course, no one ever reached out. And i'm stuck with an ugly, cheap dress that cost me $200. DO NOT BUY from them.
